Stopped here before leave by Tucson and we are so happy we did! We were planning on doing a hike but it started raining so we used our Yelp app to find a breakfast spot close to where we were staying. Ordered-potato pancakes, corned beef hash with hash browns, PIE! Potato pancakes were delicious and so was the bacon! Corned beef hash was one of the best I have ever had-meaty and flavorful without being too salty. Biscuit and marbled rye-on it. And, they have jelly packets at the table. I'm saving the best for last which was the triple berry pie-best pie I maybe have ever eaten in my life!! I eat a lot of pie and this one was divine-tons of fresh fruit filling with a light lattice pie shell on the top. I also appreciated that they don't have wifi or tvs-a technology free zone so people can focus on why they are there-the food and their friends.

I came in for breakfast on Saturday around 8:00 am. The place was not very busy but started to fill up as I was having breakfast. I ordered the wingdinger. The description said this was a side of hash browns with melted cheddar jack. It was misleading because the hash browns came with the entire breakfast piled on top of them and no sign of the cheddar jack. The hash browns were very mushy and still wet inside. The description said it was served with sausage gravy but there was only a trace of sausage in this gravy. I ordered my eggs over easy and one of the yolks was already broken when it arrived at the table. Poor execution. The biscuit was very dense and doughey, not a good biscuit. They were going for a skillet but it presents and eats more like a plate of slop. I'm trying to find a reason to give a second star but the only thing that really comes to mind is the noise level in this place. It's LOUD. My dish appeared to have been carelessly thrown together at a time when the place wasn't even busy yet. :(

Pulled into town and was told to eat here . Little did we know that the wait time would be 40 mins, But that said ,the 40 min wait was worth it in every bite . Greetings at the front, talking with others while waiting line made this a down home atmosphere , they honestly told us 40 mins , when we sat , The server was right on top of it, we never had to ask for refills on our drinks , always asked if we needed anything .the food was a 25 min wait as well , eat a big bisque if Hungery while waiting , delicious !!! When food arrive , it was out of this world , not sure what they make there food with , other than the love , for us this was the best fine ever .. When you go in ask for Carrie, genuine person , puts her heart in to get job ..can't wait for soccer tournaments in two weeks , to come back , will be Looking forward to the two hr drive for our breakfast here ..

Won't be going back here. Little diner with not great food. Boyfriend got mushy hash browns...should always have some nice crisp. My ham was pretty good so that's why I give 2 stars instead of 1. Also the breakfast potatoes were good. There was a ton of obnoxious noise going on between the kitchen and a dumb pinball machine. Pretty disappointing overall.

We had to wait for quite a while, not the wait was worth it! An excellent breakfast - good portions - excellent service. My corned beef hash was among the best I've ever had and the hash browns came as crispy.as I like them. For once, the English muffin was nicely buttered! A nice assortment of choices on the reasonably-sized menu. Not really inexpensive, but surely worth the prices. We'll go back again! I meant: "BUT the wait was worth it!"

I've had this place bookmarked for awhile now since another Yelper highly recommended it to me. The dining room is large with a lot of tables. We would prefer a booth. We love eating at places like this were you can eat both breakfast and lunch or dinner at the same time. She usually goes for lunch items while I prefer breakfast items so I can count carbs easier. I had fried eggs with only one of the 3 oz tenderloins. It comes with two but I didn't want both of them. I also ordered hash browns and toast. The 3 oz tenderloins are about the size of patty sausage but thick as a steak. I ordered mine medium and it was really juicy. I should have got both of them. The eggs were exactly as I ordered them. Since I watch my carbs, I only ate half the hash browns, but they were good. My wife ordered the Chicken Wrap. She was concerned that it might be too spicy since it said Chipotle sauce and Chipotle tortilla. So she asked the server if it was spicy. The server told her that they could substitute Ranch dressing in the wrap instead of the Chipotle sauce and that the tortilla was not spicy at all, just like a regular tortilla. My wife likes onion rings so she ordered those as the side. She said the chicken wrap was delicious, loaded with chicken tenders, lots of veggies, and the perfect amount of ranch dressing. It was not spicy at all and per my wife one of the best wraps she has ever eaten at a restaurant. The onion rings were a different story. They weren't what she had hoped for or expected. They were thick and battered, kind of heavy and on the greasy side. She prefers thin and lightly battered. She said they weren't terrible and was able to eat a couple but she would not order them again. That doesn't mean she won't go back there, she definitely would like to go back for the wrap but will order a different side next time. The server was friendly and attentive. Everything we saw served at the other tables (mostly breakfast items) looked really good. We will definitely return again soon.

The food tasted great, the portions were large, and the service was excellent. I had the D's potato cakes with sausage patties, scrambled eggs and a biscuit. It all tasted great and I struggled to finish the large amount of food. Our friendly waitress suggested the sausage patties and they were really good. This is not a fancy place but I found it clean with an open kitchen. The service was great. The food was filling and flavorful. The pricing was a value for what we received.

My wife and I ate breakfast here on Saturday, July 25th, and Sunday, July 26th. We were staying at Westward Look for the weekend, and found BBC to be the best, and closest, breakfast restaurant. The first morning, my wife had the Copper Queen Skillet and I had the Corned Beef Hash. The second morning, she had the Chorizo Rancheros and I had the Chicken Fried Steak. All four dishes were delicious. Service is prompt, especially for refills of coffee (although this slowed with the arrival of 24 bikers on Sunday morning). They cook their eggs in oil, not butter, and the yolks are a little mangled when ordered over easy, but I don't consider this a serious criticism. I ordered hash browns with the corned beef, which seemed odd since the dish is built on hashed potatoes, but it proved to be a good move, as the corned beef hash was mostly meat. I would definitely eat here again.

Visiting my mom from out of town and this is one of her fav bfast places and she has been raving about it since I came into town yesterday, so it was a given this is where we were having brunch this morning. We had stopped in just before noon and there was a line out the door, so we decided to come back. When we came back around 1pm, it was half empty, so the brunch rush seemed to have passed. I had eyed the menu prior to coming in so I ordered the popeye add avocado with homefries (and a side of the Jim Beam BBQ sauce to dip my potatoes in since I am not a ketchup fan). I saw that they had potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream (I loooooove me some latkes, when they are done right) so I ordered a side just because I couldn't not! I also ordered some coffee. First off, I was disappointed in the coffee. It was very weak and almost watery with little flavor. My mom said they must have had a different pot today because her and my stepdad could swear by the coffee. So I'll give them a one-off, but seriously, I am a coffee fiend and I couldn't even make it through a cup of what they were pouring. Second, it took almost 30mins for our food to come out...I don't know if that's normal (like I said, it wasn't barely over half full inside and we were at the counter), but my mom said that the food usually comes out faster than that, so again, maybe it was a one-off. The popeye was ok, and I liked that they were able to sub egg whites (for $.99 upcharge), but it wasn't an omelette, it was a scramble with spinach, bacon, and cheese. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Now where I took real issue was the potato situation. Neither the homefries nor the potato pancakes were good. The home fries were too soft and oily and they were only edible thanks to the Jim Beam BBQ. The potato pancakes were not the classic potato pancakes (latkes) I am used to. They were basically flattened think hasbrown pancakes and I had to send them back to be cooked further because they were so soft and soggy (anyone who has had real potato pancake latkes know they are thick and crispy and that is what makes they sooooo delicious). Even the applesauce and sour cream could not save them, I only ate one of the two on the plate. I so wanted to like this place and love it because my mom and stepdad had hyped it up and it is absolutely adorable and the staff are so friendly, but as far as the meal I experienced today, I was disappointed and will not be returning for breakfast. I saw they had a reuben on the menu, so I may return to see if they fare better with their lunch offering.

This place is like a mix between Jerry Bob's and Millie's Pancake Haus! A little bit of everything; southern comfort foods, baked oatmeal, omelettes, etc. I ordered the potato pancakes (I love them) with eggs over easy. It also came with bacon, which the server asked how I wanted it cooked (crispy, etc). Everything was delicious, well prepared, and came quickly after we ordered! The only thing that stick out to me was the overhead lighting. The fixture is not the issue but the bulbs. I found them really bright and distracting while trying to visit with a friend. Otherwise, I think I found a new breakfast spot!

Been there 5 times. Twice for lunch, breakfast 3 times. Consistently good food. Best steak and eggs in Tucson!

  • Hezzy B.

This place regularly has great coupons so keep an eye out for them. The service is consistently good and the food has never disappointed. They are a bit over priced in my opinion but the restaurant is normally full. I have never had to wait too long as they seem to be very efficient in turning tables over. Portions are good size and food taste fresh.

  • Alice C.

Service was so bad, I left without even a chance to order. I waited too long at the hostess station, ordered an iced tea with no lemon and received an iced tea WITH lemon and a lemonade. I watched two waitresses clean up the lunch service (I walked in at 1 pm) and reset all the tables. No one came to take my order.

    (1)
  • Crystal Q.

We had the Biscuits and Gravy biscuits were hard and had no flavor! Portions were large but what's the point if the food doesn't taste good! My daughter and I were very disappointed!

  • Rayne M.

My grandmother asked me to meet her here for breakfast and I was a little hesitant because I only really like Village bake house during breakfast time, but I am so glad I tried it!!! BBC is AMAZING! I am such a loser and get the same thing every time ( their equivalent to Latkas) the pressed potatoes with Apple sauce and sour cream! It is to die for!!! They also have a small selection of pie that I love because the whipped cream is not to heavy and the crust isn't very thick and is a nice distinct homemade taste. My grandmother gets something different each time and has always been happy with the lunch and breakfast menu. I've never seen it very busy but when it is there is ample room that most cafés do not have. There are lots of windows that keep the place bright and sunny! The service is nothing to special when we go, but they always have a friendly smile and are patient with my old grandma haha. A must go for breakfast in Tucson!

Honestly pretty good food but my son Jessica disapproved. He's 19 and didn't get the coloring book and crayons menu... I mean it's fine with me he needs to grow up but you know kids these days. Ordered potato pancakes. Tasted like my aunt Nick used to make. So yummy! Dream on!

  • Andrew T.

The service was good, the wait was long, but I don't think the food was worth it. It wasn't bad, mind you, it just wasn't very good. I ordered an omelette with guacamole and the guac was very uninspired and tasteless. I had high hopes based on the reviews but I don't think I'll be going back any time soon.

I loved this place ! After checking in on yelp, Kyla D. and I were offered a complimentary dessert ! Breakfast was filling and I just can't get over the toast that came with my order. It was already buttered and so good lol ! The service here was friendly and the restaurant wasn't over crowded. For breakfast I absolutely recommend trying D's potato cakes. They were so light and comes with your choice of toast or biscuit, two eggs any style, and sausage/bacon. The potato cakes also have some chopped red onions in it with a side of sour cream and apple sauce which makes it so much more flavorful Mmm... And for dessert I ordered the slice of strawberry rhubarb pie, it is not too sweet and the fresh sticky granola on top makes it a perfect breakfast dessert : )

I had driven past this place several times and kept telling myself I needed to try this place out. I finally got to stop in; I arrived around 9am and the place was packed. Wait time about 15 minutes. The waitress showed up right away, got my drink order quickly . I ordered the "Wingdinger" & my Girlfriend ordered the French toast. Service was great, the food came out quick and was delicious. All-in-all this place was better than expected and I will be back to try some of the other breakfast dishes. Great atmosphere and nice decor. Price was reasonable. See you next time "BBC"

Good food and a lot of it! Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I had a delish vanilla latte. Nice stop.

  • Charles C.

There are lots of places to eat, and lots of menus tend to look alike. But the "BBC" is not just another place. The portions here are indeed generous, well-prepared, and delivered to your table by thoughtful waitstaff. The menu offers breakfasts and lunches worthy of one's indulgence. It's a comfortable place to chat and take your time. Often, food at places that serve breakfasts can be greasy, or dried out, or just plain unexciting--not so the "BBC" --it almost seems tailored to one's palate, just for this particular visit. On the flip side, I don't think the seating is as comfortable as it could be, and if it's a full house, it can be a little noisy. But, I've come back again and again because I enjoyed the experience.

New to the Tucson area and was looking for a good place to get breakfast, and this is the place we stumbled upon. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Looks very modern and clean, and reasonably priced. It took a while for them to get the food out, but man, was it worth the wait! French toast was out of this world, best I've ever had. Everyone else at my table enjoyed their meals too. No complaints here. Definitely a place worth checking out!

I have put off writing my review for a week now, but I think I am ready to reveal the greatness. First off, the ambiance and decor, I absolutely love the modern feel inside and the family feelings you get when you walk in. This old Pizza Hut is truly transformed into a great family and friend hang out. I sat at the breakfast bar and had a chance to watch the cooks do their thang. The Popeye! Let me just say that I felt the boost of energy from all the protein. Eggs, bacon, spinach, cream cheese, and cheese all lumped together for a full, fluffy, delicious taste. The side of hash browns were lightly browned and cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the ol' standby with homemade sausage. Sausage has a little kick of spice to it, but not overbearing. I cannot wait to go back and try other items on the menu. The homemade biscuits and gravy look so good. The chicken fried steak and homemade biscuits and gravy are my next stop.

The staff was very nice but the food wasn't all that good the buttermilk pancakes were great and omelette really didn't have no taste to it in the homestyle potatoes weren't good at all they tasted like pickles

We came here for breakfast, as you do. I had the D's Potato Cakes-$8.29-potato pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce with a side of eggs and bacon. Not too shabby...I haven't had this dish in dog years, so it was nice to get it. The portion was massive, no way could I finish it, even though I was hungover and in desperate need of food. You also get toast and such with this, but I passed since I felt the potato pancakes were a big enough carb. load for the day. Pretty good stuff overall. We also ordered pancakes, which came À la carte. I guess that's just how they roll. We had to ask for syrup for them since nothing was on the table....they were super big so I suppose you don't need anything else.. We also got the strawberry lemonade , which for some reasons seemed appropriate at breakfast, and was covered in whipped cream. Pretty tasty. I didn't try the coffee for some reason which escapes me since I've heard it's very good here...next time I'll check it out.

Second time here and had a short wait both times. The people are friendly and the food is very good. I recommend and will comeback.

    (5)
  • Casey G.

They could earn back 1 star if they only served the food on hot or even warm plates. Cold plates = cold food. But good service and menu make it a place I'd try again. I'll just ask them to toss the plate in the oven first.

I love this place for breakfast! I love clear on the other end of town, and will go out of my way to come here. I love corned beef hash, it's my favorite, but I've had the oatmeal, and blueberry buckwheat pancakes. And was never let down! I look forward to going again...

What a find! After deciding we hadn't been on a breakfast date in a while, my boyfriend and I conducted a Yelp search and happened upon Bisbee Breakfast Club. Not only is it super close to where we live and have rave reviews... there are Potato Cakes on the menu. Sold, sold, and SOLD! We went on Saturday morning around 10, and there was a tiny wait. (Probably about 10 minutes, pretty good for a Saturday at 10AM, I think!) Our server was great, got us coffees and waters right away. Side note: their coffee is delicious! Like, I didn't think plain ol' coffee could taste so good! And my water glass was always full (their cups are small and I drink an absurd amount of water). I had D's Potato Cakes and they did not disappoint! Although they came out looking like your standard hash browns, they sure packed in the flavor! Erik had the Chicken Fried Steak and said it was "the most perfectly cooked one" he's ever had. So glad to have found this place, can't wait to go back for more!

I love this place. The food is fast, which is a requirement for breakfast food. And it's delicious. The servings are very generous too. Service is always great

Breakfast this morning at Bisbee Breakfast club on Ina Rd Tucson. Saw their menu online looked tasty & reasonably priced. Was seated right away even though they were pretty busy. Waitress took our drink order then came pretty quickly back to get our order. My husband had Wingdinger & I had the D's potato cakes breakfast. Food was hot, eggs cooked right. My biscuit was overdone and a bit hard on the outside. My husband asked for white toast and got possibly wheat. Other than that food was good. Will come back & try again.

  • Joan H.

D's Potato Pancakes were awesome. Came with sides of sour cream and applesauce that weren't even necessary. Asked for bacon well done - came out fatty. Servers were very friendly and great about coffee warm-ups.

Only been for breakfast but they put some heart and soul into it. I like the eggs zorba to try and stay in the healthy side but lots of good choices on the menu. I like sitting at the counter. Staff and owners are friendly. Bisbee, for as small as it is, seems to put out more than its share of god food.

  • Daria J.

Good food, good prices! Tip: get the home fries instead of the hashbrowns, they're better.

    (4)
  • Donna E.

Great portions, great prices! Finally a nice place to enjoy breakfast. Ordered the the wing dinger. Hash browns, eggs, smothered with ample creamy gravy. YUM! I'm now a member of the Bisbee Breakfast Club! Well worth the wait.

  • Craig L.

Love this place! Unique breakfast options not just the old standards. I almost always have the huevos rancheros. Crispy tortillas make this dish plus the yummy sauce. Eggs popeye is a close second.

  • Michelle E.

Eh, normal diner. Tucson is no where close to doing Bisbee right. Maybe would have worked out more mid town, but on ina? Boring.

  • Ray H.

We came here for breakfast and enjoyed our meals well enough. I had the shrimp omelette and my girlfriend enjoyed a Copper Queen skillet. Both were pretty good and the coffee here isn't too bad, either. The main drawback for me was the service being a tad slow. They were busy, but there also seemed to be only one or two servers for a lot of people. However, we did enjoy our food and there is a good chance we will return.

    (3)
  • Tanja T.

The food makes the place because the service is severely lacking. Been there twice and both times we had to get up and ask for service. The kicker is that they never apologize or offer a discount for the issues. I'm thinking that's because they have service complaints more often than not.

    (3)
  • Justin M.

The food here is amazing! I have been going here since they brought this to Tucson. I have been to the one in Bisbee (that one has some character). The Wing Dinger is AMAZING!! Its a bed of hash browns with eggs and then gravy with a biscuit on the side. Kristy is my usual server and is super good about making breakfast great. Also, Kristy is great about re-filling my coffee (can be an issue when busy).

On a visit from Phoenix, my friend and I came here on a Sunday at 11am. The stated 20 minute wait turned into 30 minutes. We walked in to be seated and to my surprise there were at least 5 empty tables just sitting there, some of which had not been cleaned yet. After about 5 minutes the waitress came over and we ordered our food. I ordered 2 pancakes, 2 eggs over easy, 2 slices of bacon and an orange juice. My friend ordered one of their skillet meals that had eggs and spinach. As we waited for our food, and my orange juice, which didn't come until I had to remind the waitress to bring it, I noticed that they were very slow in cleaning empty tables. Customers would leave and the table would sit empty for at least 5 minutes before someone came to clean it. After another 30-35 minutes our food FINALLY arrived. Seriously, it's breakfast food, it shouldn't take that long to our food to us -- especially considering the place wasn't even full. When my food arrived I saw that they served my over easy eggs ON TOP OF my pancakes! Ewwww! Who does that? So of course I had to ask for another plate and carefully tried to transfer my eggs to the new plate without breaking them open. The food itself was just okay, nothing to write home about. My friend said the same about her skillet meal -- which didn't even come served in a skillet, by the way. Mediocre food + slow service + long waits because of slow service = me not coming back here again. There are too many other options out there for me to give this place a second try.

Busy and often pretty hot inside but good food overall. Not many pork substitute options.

  • Terry H.

Very modern, menu has interesting items. They do need flavored creamers though (I'd pay extra) Food was good.

  • Andrea H.

The chicken fried steak was tender and flavorful with great gravy. The sourdough bread actually tasted like sourdough. Perfectly cooked bacon. Biscuits are as big as your face. Bottomless coffee in giant mugs. This is the first time I've been here and I'm sad I haven't come sooner! Great breakfast, will definitely come back again.

We discovered this diner by accident and we were glad we did! Good food, great service & a friendly waiter that seemed more like a friend than a service person. When asked about a particular tourist place, he found everything out about it he could for us. He even introduced me to an elderly couple he said frequents the place 3 or 4 times a week who then, invited me to sit with them while they gave me more places to see. Loved this place! A must go when in Tucson!

I came the first time based on a family recommendation and the first time brought me back a second. This one will bring us back as regulates for a long time. The copper queen skillet is fantastic, and the biscuits were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back again and again.

2nd time here, love it even more! Three of us , enjoyed Copper Queen Skillet, Wingdinger, & Chicken Fried Steak. All awesome, the home fries rocked, portions are huge. Busy place but attentive friendly staff. There's a nice covered patio for early AM's.

Have been in Tucson for the last 3 weeks visiting my mom and she has been taking me to various local AZ places rather then just eating at all the chains that I have back home in IL. I ordered a breakfast dish with ham, sausage, bacon on top of home fries, I skipped the cheese and the smothered sausage gravy because I avoid dairy as much as possible, and I asked for corn tortillas on the side instead of flour ones because I also avoid Gluten. I ordered a side of guacamole and salsa as well, I was disappointed with how small the sides of salsa and guacamole are as well their lack of Gluten Free options, most places who serve mostly tex mex or mexican dishes usually serve them with corn tortillas and not almost all flour ones.

  • Melissa K.

If you love diners, this place is for you! I am so happy that this Bisbee local gem has a location in Tucson. The breakfast menu has both a mexican twist and a traditional vibe. No diner is complete without a delicious biscuits and gravy platter, ahhhh so good you forget how many calories they can pack on! My favorite breakfast is a mix between the crazy burro and the huevos rancheros. The burro is for the hearty appetitie, filled to the brim with potatoes, black beans, cheese, eggs, avocado and green sauce! The huevos rancheros is not too spicey and served traditionally with a tortilla. Now this place is only open until 2 everyday but Friday where they stay open late till 8, so this is the place to go if you are craving a juicy hamburger and a slice of pie. All the burgers on the menu are great and they occasionally have a bacon blue cheese burger on the special, and when I see that I see no reason to even open the menu, its fantastic! Whenever I see a diner on the map, I will be there to try it out! Now I just gotta make it to the original in Bisbee!

So disappointed by our visit today. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The server did apologize saying that they had several large parties that held up the kitchen, however, I watched my food sit under the heat lamp for more than 10 minutes before our server picked it up and deliver it to our table. This was only because I asked how long she thought it might be before we were served. Sorry but heat lamps aren't designed too keep your food "freshly" hot. They are designed to only keep it somewhat warm waiting for the server to pick it up. Our food sat there so long that the top of the pancakes were hard so it was difficult to even cut them and the temperature of the food would not even melt the butter. I can't even remember the last time that I stiffed a server but my food was not delivered hot and that was her fault. I never fault a server for the kitchens issues but bring me my food before you clear 3 tables.

well I decided to come to bisbee breakfast club for the first time today, and my oh my it will be my last. The biggest reason I decided to come in, was because I had a coupon from my entertainment book, and when I started to order, (to-go) my coupon was for buy one entree, get one free. so I ordered 2 entrees and one side the side was a biscuit and gravy. when the total came up. it was was way up there, for only 1 entree and a side. so the manager was the lady ringing me up, I asked why it was so high, "did you take off an entree?". her response was "oh we consider a single biscuit & gravy a full entree. when it's clearly in the "side" section. food wasn't even anything special either.

I agree with others that the food wasn't as impressive as it should have been for the price, and that the coffee was weak. The service was not impressive. The waitress was not very busy but yet not friendly and not attentive. With that said, I will come back again. I did enjoy sitting at the bar and watching the cooks. They seemed to be having a good time and all the breakfast and lunch dishes I was watching go out looked tasty and the portions were sizable. My corned beef hash and eggs were delicious, with large meaty chunks of corned beef. Against my better judgement I got potatoes, and ended up not being able to eat them because there were plenty of potatoes in the hash. I will have to substitute them for fruit next time. My friend ordered a side of biscuits and gravy and it was a meal in itself. I helped him eat some of it and even then we ended up taking the second biscuit home. The gravy was tasty and if I hadn't been full from the hash I would have eaten more. I can only give this place 3 stars. I was really hoping to find a new place on the NW side to call my favorite and unfortunately I am still left hoping. The location, the building, and the modern looking diner-esque interior and the good food show promise. This place could get four stars if it made some slight improvements based on reviews.

Overall this is an easy place to make your traditional weekend breakfast home. After several visits the food has always been good and I've always left satisfied. I'd recommend the corned beef hash and a biscuit as the side as they are huge, soft and delicious. The atmosphere is modern but can be a bit loud on a busy Sunday morning. The owner is always out and about and seems to really care about your visit. On busy days the wait staff can be a bit slow, but the food makes up for it. In general, an easy place to go and enjoy a great breakfast any day of the week.

OMG...I'm a convert. CFS is my breakfast of choice. Today, here at Bisbee Breakfast Club, I'm a convert to D's Potato Cakes with sausage pattys. I could do a second order in fact but will save it for another visit. Would liked to have blotted some of the sausage grease but that's what breakfast is about, right? Yum til next time.

It's breakfast how can you go wrong with it. It wasn't crowded the day we went. So it was great! The waitress was a little eager to take our order we had to tell her 3 times to come back, cause we weren't ready. I had the corn beef hash and eggs great tasting! I'll be back!

Tried this place out for the first place and really enjoyed it. I got the chicken fried stake and the Eggs. Its was very good. I was at my buddy's vape shop next door and the walked over to delivered it. Awesome service great price. I will try it again soon

Had breakfast omelet was very good but home fries were not crispy but really soggy did not eat too much. Had to wait awhile to get service. While waiting saw lots of good looking food go by. Noisey would be better if they had some fabric on walls or hangings.

As far as I'm concerned, there is only one place to go for breakfast in Tucson---the BBC. Staff is awesome---Terry, Christie and Ryan will treat you like family--and the food is consistently excellent. They truly understand and can work around gluten allergies too. And total bonus---awesome coffee!!

We get takeout from here frequently. Best chicken fried steak I've had in Tucson. And I'm from Texas and therefore quite an authority on the subject. :-). And, the food is always ready when they say it will be, as ordered and well packaged, which makes for an easy in and out. And people if you order takeout in a restaurant you still should leave a good tip!

Food was solid, but this place was so noisy I wanted to leave. Fair prices. Slow service. Overall, it is an improvement over the Pizza Hut that previously occupied the premises. We need more places like this and far fewer pizza joints. The Eggs Zorba was an unique treat: Spinach, Black Olives, Red Onion, Tomato and Feta Cheese on scrambled eggs. A perfect balance of flavors. I could eat that time and again. Several other offerings look enticing so I'll try them when there doesn't appear to be a crowd. The noise level got better once the place started to empty. One odd thing: no short stack on the menu. Never seen that in a breakfast place. Looks like you have to spend $5 to $8 for pancakes for a main course. Hip place. Worth a try.

I have been here 2 times and would say by far this is the best breakfast restaurant on the Northwest side. This staff at this restaurant pays a lot of attention to detail, strives to provide excellent customer service and serv up very good food. Oh... and what more can I say but this place may serve the BEST COFFEE in Tucson! Fabulous!

My husband and I eat here frequently and have always been happy with whatever we have ordered. My only complaint....it is way too cold. I understand it must get hot back where they are preparing the food and we could always bring sweaters but when it's that cold, your food gets cold two minutes after they serve it. I'm always glad to leave so I can get outside and warm up. I'm a middle aged woman....I rarely ever get cold. It's a good thing the food here is pretty good. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't come here.

I have a list of breakfast places I'm trying out before I die. (not anticipating death soon, but you have to a have a bucket list right?) Someone suggested this place. Overall it was a very nice experience. The service was great. Unfortunately their soda machine didn't work. I can't really hold that against them though. I think I would have given it 4 stars if it wasn't located in an old pizza hut. They've done a nice job trying to get it to look differently inside..but there's only so much you can do. The good was good, but didn't blow me away. A decent choice and I think you'll be happy. I just can't say it changed my life.

Was looking for a new Breakfast place to try out and was glad we stopped in here. We had a great breakfast! Service was fast, my coffee was always full and the servers were very personable. We arrived around 830 am on a Sunday with no wait, it however filled very quickly after another 15 min. We had our 5 month old daughter with us and the hostess promptly brought us a hightchair and talked her her a little bit. I had the basic 2 eggs (substituted egg whites) , bacon, hash browns and toast. The hash browns and bacon were crispy and done just right for me (not greasy). I opted for the sourdough toast that was really tasty. My wife had the Eggs Popeye that she enjoyed very much. Instead of toast for her meal, she opted for the biscuit after seeing one on the table next to use. I tried a piece of it, let me tell you that the biscuit is a must try! We will be back and will be getting the biscuit the next time.

1st time there and last. The service was SLOOOOOWW! Plus, our food took 40 mins to come out. At one time I had to get up and ask our server for tea refills and when she returned with the pitcher she just plopped it on the table. This is a diner/cafe ticket times should be no more than 20 min and for this small of place with adaquate staffing should be more attentive to their guest. If the food was memorable enough I would return and give them another try.

Standard breakfast place. Definitely better than an IHOP or Denny's. Lots of room inside and when you leave for the day, unlike many breakfast places, your hair does not end up smelling like food!!

Had been here one time before just for coffee...but this time my favorite girl and I had breakfast. Could not have been more happy. T'was a Saturday morning about 9:30am and the place as hopping. We were seated almost right way but within a few minutes of our arrival all the tables were full and a line out the door was amassing. Service did not seem to be affected much...they were running on all cylinders for sure. I ordered the Crazy Burro. It was delicious and quite filling....it was shirt, stumpy, and weighed about a pound. It was served with a choice of hash browns or country taters....so I went with the country taters which were yummy. Their coffee is good too, not to strong or bitter. I enjoy these home cooking style places much more than the trendy places that are sprouting up all around town that give you pretty dishes which don't fill you up, and charge you and more than the food is worth. Value is at a premium to me...I was full when I left the BBC...well worth the trip!

I love Bisbee. I love Breakfast. I don't love Bisbee Breakfast Club. They were hopping on a Saturday late-morning. Overall the service was alright. We had to flag people down a couple times for water, but everyone was nice and prompt. The food was just nothing special. I expected to see something more unique and fun, but was not impressed. It was kind of expensive for what it was. However, I can't argue with the location! Right around the corner for me. We'll give this another shot next month. Maybe I'll learn to love Bisbee Breakfast Club...

Very nice and modern inside. The service gives this place 4 stars as the food was good but nothing really stood out. Breakfast was good and this place is only a breakfast and lunch place, so get there early. I expected a greasy spoon diner with Flo serving, but found a clean and pleasant atmosphere , great!

Yum, yum, yum. Been here a handful of times now and it never disappoints. I always end up with chicken fried steak for breakfast (did have one of their skillet type deals once and it was good) and I have sampled the many different bfasts my husband has had. Very tasty, and he's never been unhappy with his choices either. This place can get a little crowded on the weekends, but even at that we've never had bad service.

Don't bother with this place. The food was passable, but barely, unless you like all starches. The service absolutely sucked -- our server just up-ed and disappeared several times while we were there, and really, good luck getting someone else to notice you-- and the coffee, oh the coffee--if you could even call it that-- was worse, unless of course hot, brown water is your "coffee" of choice. I had to go into the nearest Starbucks just to get a decent cup.

I have been the BBC twice and both times everything has been great. First time - got the Huevos Rancheros. I was a little hesitant at ordering a Mexican dish at a place that wasn't a Mexican restaurant - but it was fantastico. Seriously one of the best Huevos Rancheros I have had. Got it with the green sauce (have never had the red). Second time I went for lunch and got the garden Veggie burger - it was great. I usually don't eat veggie burgers but had bbq the day before and was staying away from meat. The reason I'm giving it 5 stars (aside from the food) is our waitress was very friendly, and attentive and the food came out super quick (although they were not busy at the time). I'm from out of town and work by there and it is one of my favorites. I have tried that place, the crying onion, it is o.k. as well but a little tired and expensive. Also - read some of the other reviews. Yes - the coffee is diner coffee (a bit mellow), and not as strong/distinct as Starbucks but dinner coffee is what I (and most people I know) actually like when eating breakfast at a breakfast place. Starbucks does have better coffee for sipping, but guess what they specialize in......freaking coffee! I love the BBC.

Delicious food at reasonable prices & the staff is always smiling and nice. The biscuits are HUGE and moist. If you ask for your food to be cooked a particular way, they will do it, and do it right. Breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong. Two thumbs up!

The chairs although they look cool (chrome and vinyl) are the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. The chrome bars on the back rest dig into your back like leaning against a wrought iron fence (I think that would be more comfortable). The chrome rim that wraps the seat of the chair is higher than the cushion and digs into your thighs, think blood clots. There is no soft material anywhere in the restaurant so it is extremely loud! The food was OK not great, but not bad, however you can get a better breakfast at the Waffle House down the street for less money. The service was good, but the waiter had to write have a nice day Psalm 12:8 on my check. I really hate when people inflict their beliefs on me. I really didn't need to be reminded about the wicked around me at the Bisbee Breakfast Club. With that said we won't return due to uncomfortable chairs, loud restaurant, and mediocre food at an inflated price.

I was in Tucson on family business for a month this past February. Early on in my visit I anted to find a non-chain, regular breakfast spot and I was directed to the Bisbee Breakfast Club (BBC). What an excellent find! Over 10 visits I never had a bad breakfast, more tot he point I did not have even a mediocre breakfast. I have always thought that a place that opens at 6 and closes at 2 had better be on top of their game and BBC certainly is. Everything from their skillets to pancakes to omelettes (the Popeye was my favorite) was great. Mornings when I just wanted a quick stack of pancakes were met by fluffy pancakes with just enough crispness around the edges to be perfect. Service was outstanding no matter what day I went or who my server was. The value for price paid was excellent. I can safely say that anything you order for breakfast is going to be deliciously satisfying. I did not get eh chance to sample the lunch menu but it really seems that BBC in Tucson really has their act together. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing the first time! Second time it was good but cold. The manager did not charge for meals or drinks this time. The service was good both times. I will definitely be giving it a round 3. Coffee is excellent, ambience is descent. The only complaints are the horribly uncomfortable chairs and it is a little too loud in the dining area.

Went for breakfast yesterday. Very busy, guy at register said it would be 10 minutes, took about 20 even though they had tables open. Our server was very nice, but she brought us cold food. I asked her to take it back and put it in the microwave and she did and brought it back Luke warm. I like my food hot. The food was ok not great. I wouldn't go back. I give everyone a 1st shot if it is good I always come back but if you give me a bad first impression sorry!

Too many mornings after in Bisbee, revived by the awesome BBC for the drive home to Tucson. So when I saw BBC was opening here I was quite pleased. I've now eaten there 4 times, and I have to wonder, did the original Bisbee Breakfast Club seem so awesome because I was that hung over, or did something get lost in the development of the Tucson version? I swear, its as if the cook had never heard the word savory before. The Mexican dishes have more fire at retirement homes. Seriously, I brought relatives from the midwest with delicate tummies, and they were complaining the chorizo and eggs were bland. They were right. Not much chorizo in the dish, like there is no sausage in the sausage gravy. I hate to give two stars. The owner seems earnest, the staff are great, the service is excellent, but you cant serve food this dull and expect to last much longer here. I really hope this restaurant turns around, Tucson is begging for better breakfast joints.

It is the Bisbee Breakfast Club..so I went for breakfast..The decor & servers remind me of the Hash House in Vegas...I love the HH..good start!..Went on a Sunday morning and it was packed!..we where greeted and sat immediately!..I ordered the Wingdinger-a large side of Hash Browns in a skillet with melted Jack-cheddar cheese, 2 eggs & spicy sausage gravy poured over the top...Wow!..Oh yeah and a biscuit the size of my fist..needless to say it was a lot of food!..The coffee wasn't anything special and service was just OK..but the food was very good..so I'll be back for another round.

Very hearty and friendly breakfast spot. We've been here twice and the portions are generous and the food is delicious. I REALLY like the atmosphere and and the decor. I would call it a classy greasy spoon. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is a couple of communication errors.

I did not read any of the reviews here prior to my visit to BBC today. I had to laugh at Lindy B's review, because we experienced the same waitress situation. We waited and waited for our food order (about 20 minutes) and then she returned informing us that she "lost" our ticket, and she couldn't figure out how and why it happened, except that she had been a waitress for some 30+ years and she was "regressing". The restaurant was not busy, so I feel there is really no excuse for a "seasoned" server to "lose" a ticket. The waitress seemed quite happy that we did not get upset over the poor service, as she said we were just "Awesome!". And she also asked us if everything was "Marvelous", but I tried to contain myself and said "No" as she walked away. I did not want to create a "scene". I figured "yelp" is a good enough platform to share my experience. We ordered the chilaquile breakfast with home fries and sourdough toast. Don't bother ordering this dish. Although it comes with a side of "salsa", it could not save the taste. Bland/Passable as mentioned by others. The "corn tortillas" scrambled in the egg dish are simply bag strip chips. Yum, right? Ketchup to the rescue. We also ordered a couple of hotcakes, and I must admit those were great. The coffee is "diner" coffee, nothing to write home about, but passable. The restaurant is clean and color scheme is trendy. Will I come back? I'm willing to give it another chance, but I feel that a customer should never have to consider it. I'll probably stick with a non-ethnic breakfast. What was I thinking? Sad, no?

Tried BBC for lunch today. We both ordered breakfast. It was barely edible, bland and not very warm. I had the chilaquiles, husband had a breakfast burrito with green chili sauce. When I requested hot home fries as the ones that were served with my eggs were cold, they were brought right out, but they were swimming in oil. Needed to add lots of hot sauce and salt in order to taste much of anything. Husband's order was not exactly right, but we let it go as we didn't want to wait any longer. Coffee was good but not great. Service was friendly, but waitress lost our ticket so food took a long time. Another table who had come in before us, received their food first. If you want a great breakfast go to The Crying Onion about a mile away on Orange Grove and Thornydale. Yes, the service is slow there, but the food is awesome!

Good news and Bad news Ok folks, this is a diner. So it should be judged as a diner not fine dining. The food is good. The prices are medium. The wait staff has way too big of sections. They often get triple and double sat, meaning two and three tables back to back. If you go plan to wait and to advocate for your self for things like water, napkins and a check. We had to ask for water four times while others around us were getting water. This is not active negligence, they mean well. It is what it is, we will be back, but only when we are able to deal with these conditions.

I don't know, this is an ok place to go if it's someone else's idea, that way nobody's going to call you names when you leave. This is a place that's set up for two or four people, PERIOD. If you're five or you're six, you're simply screwed. The four top tables are too small for four, if you have five people, then they put one at the end of the already too-small-table and just make you deal with it. Add a table? Nooooo The majority of them are ROUND! So that's even more screwed up. The server we had today was one of those sad-sack kind that suck the energy out of a room and she wasn't all that good, the food, ok, but certainly not what it ought to be for a breakfast place. It's so loud that you'll have to shout at whomever drove you there. I'll go back again, but only because someone else is driving and somewhat delusional. And to think, there's a Waffle House six blocks further up!

Went here last weekend. We sat at the breakfast bar. That said service was good but we were right in front of the kitchen. Food was well... bland. Needed more seasoning also I have suspicions that a lot of it is canned. While this is fine for some ingredience like tomato paste etc.. seasonings still need to be added and other ingrediemce should be fresh made.

We went to the Bisbee Breakfast Club's "Grand Opening" on 12/5/11 because we had enjoyed the food at the original restaurant in Bisbee when we've travelled through. We and our out-of-town guests were not disappointed! Delicious breakfast choices. All four of us had a different dish and each received thumbs up. The service was outstanding. I went back a week later with another out-of-town friend for lunch, and we were both impressed by the lunch menu. He ordered the chicken salad sandwich with walnuts and I ordered their unique BLT and we shared halves. Both sandwiches were yummy. The next time I went in for lunch (they have an impressive burger menu) I sat next to a couple and their kids vacationing Tucson from New York City. They were in town for 8 days and ate at BBC 6 times! They were on their way to the airport to fly out and wanted one last meal there. What do New Yorkers know about good food? I think their patronage says it all about this new Tucson eatery that's worth visiting for breakfast or lunch. Open from 6:00 A.M. until 2 P.M seven days a week.

Hi ... What can I say ... I WANTED to like this place a lot more than I did. I think it's the shake down phase is taking too long ... ya.. open a month they told me ... but the waitrons stand around looking all over and when an order comes up it just sits there... 5 to 10 minutes later they wander by (even though the cooks call out their names) and then seem all confused about which dishes "up" go with which ticket. That said, the taste of the food was great ... Things just need to get smoothed out a bit ... maybe they could hire some of those old-gal waitresses who can keep a place like that running in their sleep and have a gin and tonic going too to show them how to run the front end. Other minor gripes... coffee way too weak ... needs a much darker roast to go with the good flavors of the food ... and they need to resolve the acoustics in the dining room so that you can have a normal level conversation at your table and not be hearing everyone else around you shouting ... some kind of sound dampener or baffling on the ceiling might help .... not my area of expertise ... I'll give them more tries as the taste was there ... but the help needs to get a move on especially out front .. it's like there are too many of them so they tend to stand around instead of hustle. One or two near the register area seemed to have nothing to do but stand around and look at the people and stretch and yawn ... yet the place was close to filled up. I'm hoping the owner/manager is taking peoples constructive comments to heart ... it should be better than it is! I'm putting them on my calendar to try again in another month or so.

My family and I went to Tucson's new Bisbee Breakfast Club (BBC) for my birthday yesterday, and we had an excellent breakfast! We all ordered something different and all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast with a biscuit. The steak and eggs were done just right and the biscuit was big and fluffy - as I remember them in Bisbee's BBC. the gravy was perfect, with pieces of spicy sausage in it. My Mom ordered the Zorba, a scrambled egg dish with fresh veggies and cheese and and ordered fresh fruit in lieu of hash browns. She said that everything was fresh and delicious and would bring her friends there for breakfast. Others at the table ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, Pancakes, The Wingdinger; and Chorizo and Huevos Rancheros, and all enjoyed their breakfasts immensely. I will definitely go here for breakfast and can't wait to try lunch! Oh, and my coffee was just fine... : )

My husband and I tried the BBC today for lunch. Great service, good food. There really is a good choice of dishes, not all starch. I had the zorba, husband the chorizo rancheros. The feta on the Zorba lent just the right amount of tang to the dish, the green chile sauce was good, not hot.. The coffee was good diner coffee. We will definitly go back.

What a great place! Went for the first time yesterday (Sunday) morning. Called a couple of hours in advance to say that I would be arriving with 8 guests and asked if a table could be organized for the whole group. Staff were very well organized and watched to create a space along the wall so that our group would not be disturbed, nor would we disturb others. Food was terrific. Not many places offer home fries or hash browns. BBC does! Corn beef hash, french toast, hash browns, the Colonel, poached eggs, bacon, and biscuits all got special praise from our group. But most of all, we appreciated how well our wait staff kept us organized on ordering. And the freshly cooked food arrived surprisingly quickly. I've already begun telling my friends and neighbors this is a fine place for breakfast!

Even though the burger I had was great. I really wanted to try the avocado chicken salad. They could not leave the cottage cheese off or sub fries. Items are only made as listed on the menu no subs. The place was reasonable except for that. People with allergies should avoid this place.

This is a great breakfast place! I knew about it because i have been to the original location in Bisbee and have always enjoyed it. I usually eat the huevos rancheros but my second favorite is the Popeye. I have not had a meal I didn't enjoy and if you are really hungry add a sticky bun and its as good as being on vacation! Try them out and see if you don't agree !

Always have friendly service. Coffee is great. I recommend the sausage Patties. The home fries are good, but could use some salt. The biscuits are huge and are great with the gravy. The large order of biscuits and gravy is more than enough for two people. This place has definitely become my new favorite breakfast place!

Not much of a breakfast person but this seemed like a neutral location to have a breakfast meeting and I need reasons to review the places I wouldn't normally go, so this was my chance. The staff is really friendly and I was seated immediately into what looked like the over-60's "breakfast club". Not a problem. Our waitress was great so I have absolutely no complaints about the service keeping in mind that the restaurant was not busy at all. The food was just meh...the menu is average looking. I had to special order due to my diet so I got a dry egg white omelet with spinach, onions and zucchini (they call it squash), with a side of fruit instead of potatoes. The flavor of the omelet was very under-par. I really had to season it up. I know, I know, it's egg whites and green stuff...but I've had much better. I did not love this omelet at all but I managed to down it. The other odd thing was that out of the entire omelet I had one bite that actually had vegetables in it so they certainly don't go overboard on the fillings. That was disappointing. I would come again if I had another meeting but I certainly would not go out of my way to have breakfast here. You all may like it so don't base your decision on my skimpy meal. I noticed their biscuits are about the size of my head!

What a disappointing dining experience. My husband chose the Blue Wally Cakes and had they not been cold when they arrived at the table, perhaps then they might not have been so "tough" and rubbery. I imagined that if we'd asked to have them reheated, the additional time in the microwave likely would have ruined them completely. My Copper Queen Skillet likewise had warmth issues. The gravy that the bowl was topped with, was tepid at best. However, the eggs and meats were very hot and the potatoes (all in the same skillet and covered with the tasty but cold gravy) barely warm? It was interesting, the combination of food temps all in one skillet. And then there was our server, fondly calling me "Hun", all as she ignored us and apparently didn't notice our food waiting, waiting for delivery at our table. The Bisbee Breakfast Club was busy this morning, however it was easy to notice food that stood under the "warmer" for extended lengths of time. I may have complained, asked for new food, server except I had already been there for over an hour, just wishing I'd made a different restaurant choice. Denny's was right there.

Wait of 15 mins on Sunday morning. Order took at least 20 mins to arrive. However food was good and service was friendly.
