Having grown up in the Midwest I'm intimately familiar with this chain and there is little anyone can do to screw it up other than CLOSE at 7pm!! After a sunset pink jeep tour one night and another watching the sunset at the airport my car with 7 people craving a cold treats had to just pass by twice since the close so early. I know we weren't the only ones as we had a couple other families staying at the same resort who said the same thing. Maybe foot traffic is a little slower on a weekday, but the town was packed this past weekend so maybe they will consider extended hours on the weekend and not leave so many vacationers with unfulfilled cravings.

OK, so if your coming down hwy 89 from Flagstaff in order to get to Sedona you have to pass the DQ. If you came in to Sedona a different way then it is understood why you would think this place is nonexistent but rest assure it is really there and to be honest the beautiful drive makes it all the more worth it. Like Dora says in finding nemo Just keep swimming!. Just keep driving you can not miss it! OK its a DQ, with a little gift shop inside. so far my 3 experiences here they don't have chocolate Ice cream. I tried in summer 2013, November 2013 and then again in July 2014. every time its been the same reasoning. I will keep fellow CHOCOLATE LOVERS updated on the mythical chocolate or zebra flavors. So Adam our cashier was courteous and nice and quickly made my husband vanilla cone and my son's peanut butter cup blizzard as I pouted at the counter like a 5 yr old... Then I had a Epiphany, Why not try a Chocolate blizzard. I asked for one with some extra hot fudge inside of it Adam made it for me quickly and I was in chocolate paradise in no time. Now if there is no soft serve chocolate I will be ordering this again!

Great location (once you find it) but really, really hard to find! So while my wife was doing her thing in Sedona the kid's and I decided we deserved a treat too. While I am not proud of saying this it took me 2 attempts to find this place. My iPhone maps and Mapquest directed me to a destination in the opposite direction of Oak Creek Canyon. After calling this Dairy twice I was directed to go out of Sedona on the road towards Flagstaff (Hwy 89A). This is not what I would call Sedona proper but worth the drive. Oak Creek Canyon is very, very pretty. The stream itself would be worth the time and effort to visit. Back to the Dairy Queen. Great Blizzard's and if you like Blizzard's you will like this Dairy Queen. What sets this Dairy Queen apart from the rest of the ice cream stores in Sedona is the location and the daily group of Native American craft seller's that are adjacent to the Diary Queen. All the craft seller's were friendly had good information on other things to do in the area.

Messed up 2/2 blizzards. I worked at a Dairy Queen at the time and I felt like I should have just gone behind the counter and made it myself. Slow service, dull workers, do not know how to make two simple blizzards.... no special requests at all.

Horrible chili dogs. Too much of everything that we asked for.

The ice cream is fine but if you order a large parfait they will give you a small one and pretend like it's a large. Someone needs to report this location they are ripping people off. You ask for a large parfait and you get a small one only with the same price tag as the large. Never had this problem at any other Dairy Queen. This is the only location that has done this to me and then when I questioned them about it they acted like I was making things up when I told them how every other dairy queen gives you a much larger portion for the same thing I ordered. Avoid this spot unless you want to be ripped off.

Really good burgers and ice cream, but very bad fake Indian "art". Fortunately, several natives were selling the real thing outside. We ended up here because Sedona was jammed with spring break traffic, and we're glad we did!

I'm convinced that a serial killer in the desert created this spot on Yelp to lure hungry people into the Oak Creek Canyon so that he can kidnap them and put them in his dungeon. This place does not exist. And Apple Maps and Yelp have conspired to have you figure eight all over Sedona and OCC in hopes of a peanut buster parfait. The sad part was we left at 8:21 PM and after driving 40 minutes then discovering we were on some kind of wild psychological goose chase for a mythic DQ, all the actual ice cream places in town had closed a minute earlier. Don't waste your time!! You might not be as lucky as us and make it out alive.

Awesome blizzards, hamburger was fresh. Good break from a day slide rock. Got some great water shoes there.
