    At the insistence of a family member I gave them a try again after a long hiatus. A few sandwiches were ordered by one person for take out. Sandwiches were ordered "with all the veggies." Sadly, they left off a couple key items on one of the sandwiches. Rookie worker mistake? No. The owner made them, which makes the problem even more sad. I called in and let the owner know the problem. I was interested in the response I would get. I was calm and polite. He explained to me right away, in a thick foreign accent, that they make each sandwich according to the instructions given and said they must "not have been given enough information to make the sandwich properly." Really??? ...I'm thinking... That is your initial response? Blame us? Why? Because we didn't watch you like a hawk and make sure you didn't mess up? I told him my family member read the order off a written note, exactly as worded, which read "all the veggies" and the sandwich had no tomato and no onion. I was certain of this as I took the sandwich completely apart. The owner hemmed and hawed a bit more. "I'm not asking for a refund, and I'm not coming back to return the sandwich. I just wanted you to have the information, so perhaps it can help you in the future," I added. At that point the owner stopped being defensive. He was polite, apologized, and said they would try to correct the situation in the future. Wow...It's 2015. We live in a consumer oriented society where a positive *customer experience* is just as important for a business' success as their basic product or service. A person has no business being in the highly competative "hospitality industry" if they are defensive, don't understand customer service or lack the skills to effectively deal with problems that arise.     Ordered a Turkey Bacon on pretzel bread and when it was opened at home, mold was all over the side of the pretzel bun. Really gross!

    I've eaten't at Blimplies in the past and use to love the honey oat bread they have. however, the last few times I've been there the service or food has been lacking in quality. this last time I went the bread was borderline stale. it was stiff, dry and not very soft. as if it had been setting out for a while. the whole place feels unwelcoming, and there is always just one person working and the owner/manager always stands around the cash register watching you like your going to steal something. not a welcoming place. its a shame because in the right hands this could be a great sub place with its location. I don't think the owner should be in the service industry. I don't think he knows how to make it a fun welcome place to eat.

    I've been to this Blimpie twice now. We were seriously unhappy with the first visit, but came back because we love blimpies and we thought the experience was so extremely bad, due to a fluke... bad day or something. To start, the lady behind the counter is UNBELIEVABLY rude! I have NEVER had anyone in the service industry roll their eyes and make grimacing looks to a new customer ordering a simple sandwich. The first time, she got mad at me when I ordered a veggie sandwich and then said that I wanted the veggie patty. She actually argued with me and tried to get me to just let her be done making my sandwich. With all the irritation and eye rolling... I thought she was just having a bad day. Today we returned. I ordered simple sandwiches... First problem is that they are SO stingy with the meat. You get 2 little slivers of meat on a 6 inch stale piece of bread. To top that off, you get a triangle of cheese on top... not a rectangle that might cover the sandwich... a triangle, so you get half the sandwich covered in cheese. As if the lack of substance and the rudeness of the service wasn't enough, but just ordering ham (or any meat I'm sure) sets this lady off... She slices the meat, letting it just fall to the base of the slicer instead of into her hands, and then throws it down on the counter like we ruined her day. ON the counter! Hello salmonella! I ordered a Tuscan. Just like it is on the menu, I wanted the red peppers. So, my fabulous chef threw 3 of the tiniest slices on my sandwich. So 3 bites actually had them. I didn't dare ask for more, because my daughter previously asked for more olives, and she actually stood there and mumbled, shook her head and threw a few more on her sandwich. My poor 12 year old felt BAD for asking for more! When I dared ask for more things on my sandwich that already didn't have any substance she got irritated with me. Threw some of the brown lettuce on top and almost hit the sandwich when the vinegar breezed by. (mind you... we're the only people in the building, it's not like they're rushing to get through the lunch rush.) When my husband asked for more meat, because the 4 slices on his foot long didn't even cover the bread, they said "that will be $1.50 extra". I responded with, "it's not even covering the bread!" The owner had to come over and inspect... as if the 4 inches of bare bread wasn't obvious. Lucky him, he got more meat. Though two slices was it, still a far cry from the pictures all over the walls piled high... When we sat down with our pathetic excuses of sandwiches, and our minimal allowance of napkins (3 napkins were carefully counted out for our family of FOUR)... we joked about the possibilities of food poisoning. As I write this, my daughter, who ordered the tuna (and yes, I now know that the signs were there that that would be a bad idea), is now hunched over the toilet. So, crappy service and unbelievable stinginess aside... If you don't want to revisit your food 12 hours later, DO NOT eat here!! Someone should call the health department on them. Even if they cleaned up their facility and replaced the obviously OLD food... I would still never go there because of the unbelievably rude and obnoxious lady behind the counter. The only reason I'm not sick is because I didn't get enough meat and cheese to be affected. My poor daughter... they haven't switched over to a melon baller to serve the tuna yet, so she still had something on the sandwich. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

    Was pleasantly surprised by this corner sub shop. Paid a little bit more for the six inch than I'm used to but not too bad. The gentleman behind the counter was very sweet and even gave me a complementary cookie (oatmeal raisin that was delicious by the way) because it was my first time eating there. The area was clean and spacious, I didn't get a chance to see the restrooms as I was in a hurry. One thing I didn't really like was how quietly the staff spoke, I had to lean in close to the glass display and ask them to repeat what they were saying a few times because they wouldn't speak up. They offer various deals for just about any budget as well as a punch card where you get your 10th sub free I think with the purchase of a beverage. Overall a fairly decent sub shop, will be returning again in the near future.
