Took my son here for his 7th birthday party. They offered up a choice of several different activities and we picked bowling and laser tag. The experience was great, It was a slower Sunday afternoon so we had some parts all to ourselves - the staff was great, helpful and made the experience enjoyable all around. They tried to spice up the bowling and let the kids try some trick shots which they enjoyed - as well as mixing up the laser tag into two half hour chunks. I would happily recommend it to any parents looking for birthday party options in the area.

Nine times out of ten, I have a fantastic experience here. The food is great, the theatre is fantastic (especially the star class seating), the bowling is fun... but the thing that holds back the fifth star is the inconsistent service. Sometimes it's okay, other times you get the impression that the young people there just don't know what proper service is. Example: my most recent trip to see a show in star class... we ordered drinks, an appetizer, dinner, and desert. The desert came out first, then drinks, then the appetizer came out at the same time as the meal. There wasn't enough space to set everything down, so I had to hold the appetizer between myself and my wife while my meal cooled. This was not the first time something like this has happened. Everyone is pleasant to speak with, but their actions are speaking far louder.

This is such a fun place whether you are having a family outing, a date night or group event. The atmosphere is great for all ages and the prices are reasonable.

Most of the reviews tend to focus on the food service. Technically there are other yelp locations for this place and reading those individual reviews will be more helpful if you're planning on getting anything other than from the snack or dessert bars. You can look up: Full restaurant: yelp.com/biz/347-grill-m… Bar/in-theater dining: yelp.com/biz/luxe-lounge… Desert bar: Cones Cafe (no separate yelp location) As far as the center itself goes: this is a great place to get a lot done. I've spent several date nights just here and it's only a couple of miles from our home in Maricopa. The place is always clean, the staff usually quite helpful though we did find once a movie (Elysium) was shown as rated PG-13 instead of rated R. Thankfully our kids weren't there that night. The biggest drawback is they show most of the places to eat as separate so choose where you eat accordingly. I've found it's best to eat at the 347 Grill rather than the in-show food/drinks for Star Class tickets (Luxe Lounge review spoiler alter: the novelty wears off quickly with such poor service; eat BEFORE your movie). Aside from the food, UltraStar has top-notch entertainment, especially for Maricopa. While the prices reflect the lack of local competition, several discounts are available including student rates, free movie nights, kids events and most recently their 2 year anniversary where tickets were $2 (as well as $2 drinks and $2 popcorn). All in all, my favorite place to go when I'm too lazy to make it into the valley for a date.

We upgraded a few weeks ago and got the royal treatment. Yes it was worth it. It was sweet to be waited on hand and foot. The fry bread seemed stale but the strawberry cream helped us enjoy anyway. Don't look for any foot rests. Very clean place.

I bought a Groupon a few months ago for a movie, laser tag and $10 arcade game play for 2. It was well worth the price I paid for the voucher. Sometimes while using a Groupon at the business you are never sure how to redeem it -where do I go? what do I do? - I thought. So I went right up to the movie counter and asked how I redeem it. They were happy to help and it was a fairly easy transaction and was able to redeem the rest of the voucher on the arcade side after the movie -easy peasy! Thank you for this -thought it was going to be a headache! The theater was clean and seats were fairly comfortable for the regular no frills seats but leather. I usually bring a sweater or wear long sleeves at the movies cause it's usually freezing but it was just comfortable in there not icy cold like other theaters. The snacks (large popcorn, one medium drink & one large drink) were MORE expensive than the whole Groupon experience! Sounds about right. :[ The arcade was a meh. Some of the games didn't work or looked like worked and just stole our monies. But we told the arcade workers and they were ok with putting the money back on our card. A good selection of games for the kids. The laser tag area was cool but the gun can be tricky. The two story course is on par with other laser tag places like The Main Event in Chandler. I would come back but it's too dang far for the experience I can can get closer to home but it was a nice little day trip down to Maricopa.

The movies and game availability is great. The 347 restaurant is excellent. The Luxe restaurant upstairs however needs a new chief and better food choices/preparations.

Staff is always excellent. Every time I have booked the VIP room there is never a problem. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

The movie theater and interior alone I give five stars, however the arcade and laser tag are bad enough I can only give four. I did not sit in the star class as I went to an early movie, however the leather seats were plenty comfortable. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, even with rough spots but more on that later. The sound and video was great and the concessions is the usual frustratingly high price. They do have caramel and cheese popcorn. If you get a large drink or popcorn, be sure to get refills and put the popcorn in a sealable bag when you get home. Games are played using credits on a card, tickets are also loaded to the card's account. Numerous arcade games were broken, many where their start button didn't work. I spoke to the bowling desk and they credited back the credits. They offer respectable ticket reception room. Laser tag was a bit frustrating starting with arrival, we got our tickets which included a start time. However we showed up and there was a line of people out of the door. About ten minutes after our time we all went in. The course was on two levels and offered many places to hide, but not for long. Unfortunately I did not have much success hitting people. I held my gun in two places like others until it lit up and shot people standing two feet in front of me unobstructed with no hits. Perhaps I'm that bad? The interior of the center is immaculate and contemporary and they offer many different entertainment and food options. Great place, but be careful in the arcade and laser tag.

This is my home away from home!!! Everyone is friendly from the management to the cleaning personnel. The public areas are kept very clean and it's fun to spend a few hours there. I bowl at least twice a week and the only negative I can come up with is they let people eat and drink down on the lanes. It leaves the area sticky, crunchy and nasty. YUCK!!! Every year I buy the popcorn card. YUM! YUM! Thank you UltraStar for coming to Maricopa.

Great facility, friendly staff love the dbox option. Although, I would definitely recommend getting a popcorn pass for 25/year, as the price of popcorn can add up quickly.

Great facility. Food quality differs between the 3 kitchens and mistakes with food are common. Service is generally good and the staff very friendly.

Slightly mixed experience tonight, but 90% good. Our server was polite, promt, and remembered my drink (*queue Cheers music* You want to be where everyone knows your name) Movie experience was enjoyable and the only downside was due to other customers bad behavior.

A fun place to go. The 347 needs to step their game up on their food quality. I only go there based on local choices. I wish I went there because I craved them.

Scored free movie tickets from Harrah's so my boyfriend and I decided to check out the Star Class Cinemas which is for 21+ upstairs. We had to pay $2 with the free tickets to go upstairs though which isn't bad for movie night. I love the interior design upstairs, very fancy and romantic with star lit ceilings in some areas and full length selfie mirrors on the suede walls. Our host explained to us the concept as she was walking us to the correct room. She was really friendly and helpful. From what she was telling us, it was assigned seating inside the movie theaters but we got to move around because the theater was so empty. We went on a weekday and the theater was completely empty except for another couple. She also told us that they didn't want customers to get out of their seats except to go to the bathroom, of course. It's nice to have people cater to us while we enjoy our movie. We sat down with the light up menu which was really cool! The menu is kind of limited with not a lot of things to choose from. You can also order stuff from the concession stand too from the menu. I thought we can order from the 347 Grill but we couldn't since that's a separate kitchen. When we were ready to order, we just pushed the red button behind our elbow cushion. Our waitress came right away and took our order. A few minutes later, she came back with little trays that hooked onto the cup holders (similar to single desks in classrooms) which would be our "table". We have to pay for our meal up front unless you want to keep the tab open and order more food and drinks later. We ordered nachos and a burger. The portions are decently sized. The nachos are delicious!! I was surprised that our food came out pretty quickly and correctly considering how horrible the service and wait time is downstairs. There's no light besides the light projecting from the movie if you're trying to eat carefully. I had to use my phone's flashlight to see what I was eating. I can see how that can be annoying if there's other people around but I definitely don't want to be spilling food. Another important thing is to make sure your tray is secured. My tray was secured enough and my plate of nachos was sliding off which scared me. The movie theater chairs were clean and super comfortable! It was really clean inside with no trash all over the seats and the floor. Overall, it was a great first experience and exceeded my expectations. I don't think I'll be eating and watching a movie at the same time since it was too dark and I couldn't see what I was eating. I'll just stick with good old popcorn!

There is so much to do! I'm so happy that our little town is expanding. They offer a ton of fun things for either a date night or family outting.

Very comfortable but concessions aren't very good. Nachos are stale nomatter how many times you return them and butter on popcorn taste funny. Great if you bring your own snacks though everyone's always friendly.

My family and I just love this place! There is so much to do and it is all so fun! Be sure to get a meal at the cafe as the food and service are great. Also the one day special that they run each summer is the best deal in town!

Great place to go to in Maricopa since this town has very little to offer. There is dining, Arcade games, laser tag, theater, bowling and is right across from the casino and motel. I had dinner at the 375 Grill and must say this place looks and feels impressive but the place was very cold. We had to keep our jackets on during the whole meal. The waitress tried her best to serve us but when the food came out she didn't bring it. Instead she came empty handed then later said she was going to go get our salad dressing and ketchup. I got a portobello sandwich which was under the burger list on the menu. I thought there was suppose to be some meat but it was just a fried portabello for $10. Got a very small salad on the side. The sandwich was very good but not for that price.

The theater and bowling areas are awesome the only complaint I had was with the food and the game room with most the games not working. we will continue to visit this facility

Pretty awesome place. Kinda like a indoor mini west gate but in Maricopa. Movie theater is pretty awesome with its upper floor seating. Full service restaurant and bar while watching a movie.

We ate at the 347 Grill. We had the calamari for starters: it was really good. My fish and chips were great too. My husband had the prime rib which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The service was prompt and friendly. For us, the serving sizes were quite generous and we have leftovers! This is actually not the first time we've eaten here, and we've always enjoyed the great food, friendly service, and fun atmosphere. For this meal, we were seated further away from the bar, which was perfect - much less noisy, and no TV's! :-) We love, love, love the new multi-tainment center and look forward to many future visits!

One of the best movie theaters I've been in. We really need one of this in California. I like the concept of D-Box. If you don't know anything about D-Box just google it. I'd definitely come back to this place.

Here's the newest addition to Harrah's Casino complex out here on the Rez. This amusement center features 24-lane "Ten Pin Bowl" bowling center, a big 12-screen Theater, "347 Grill and Bar" with booze, pizza & so on, a video arcade with the hottest new games, conference/party rooms, a nice outdoor patio area with tables, and more. This whole place is beautiful and theatre admission prices are LOW, at around $ 6.to $9 for first run movies! (Prices for individual screenings vary according to age, time of day, military status & so on, but everyone gets a shot at the lowest prices!) This place is smaller than Amazing Jake's but it's classy... won't remind you of Taco Bite! :-))

On the whole, UltraStar is amazing and wonderful for Maricopa. They offer a lot to do and I usually have a great time. After being open for over a year I would have thought they'd have their food and service nailed down better than they do though. They HAVE made changes, and sometimes it's better, sometimes worse. If they can get ALL their staff to understand what it takes to have great customer service, and can lower their food prices a tad without killing the quality then I'm sure they'll have people coming in from all over the valley. Management DOES listen to complaints/suggestions and acts on them. Given the size of their workforce it's understandable that they'll have a few slow/lazy kids pretending to be working when they're not. I'm sure management will catch up to them and motivate them eventually.

Great place to be, got the free membership witch included free bowling etc for the first try, went to the luxe bar upstairs and was amazed that they had Stella on tap my favorite beer and ordered the angus burger and was cooked perfectly! Bowling was fun really nice location definitely worth the drive from Phoenix!

This is a state of the art theater with the lounge and 347 grill attached. It's great because it's always so empty, I get there 15 min early and always get the seats I prefer.

There's a brand-new state-of-the-art movie theater, multiple restaurants, an arcade, laser tag, and a bowling alley. What more could you ask for? A hotel and casino? It's a three minute walk away. The movie theater is all digital, and offers one 3-D movie at a time. They use passive 3-D glasses like most movie theaters, and the result is very good. I haven't noticed any ghosting in any of the movies that I've seen. The only issue I have is the sound. When I go to the movie theater I want the sound to surround me. I want big explosions, and it seems like no matter what theater I'm in here, the sound is always at 60%. They have vibrating seats which don't serve any purpose for me, because I'm in a wheelchair. They also offer a "star class" option. It's a couple dollars extra per seat, it's reserved only for people 21 and older, offers a private bar, and you sit in the balcony. They also offer in seat dining with an abbreviated selection of items from the 347 grill downstairs. My understanding though, is that they have another kitchen upstairs to handle the load of the star class auditoriums. To get there, you take an elevator upstairs, give the ticket taker your ticket, and walk through a really neat hallway with stars twinkling above you. The only negatives I can think of are that you are paying extra for the luxury of having food delivered to you, and since you're at the very top and back of the theater in the balcony area, you don't have any sound coming from behind you which really makes a noticeable difference. They have two different restaurants there, both offering similar foods. The 347 Grill has a really neat water feature surrounding it where bubbles change colors. I know it's just bubbles, but I could honestly sit there for hours staring at this if they wouldn't arrest me and take me away. They have a couple of neat entrées, including lobster mac & cheese which is delicious and I totally recommend it. Don't expect to be able to pop in get some food and pop out to your movie though. This is typical restaurant times we're talking about here. Typically 30 to 40 minutes to get food. The service is hit and miss leaning a bit more towards miss. It almost seems like servers hide from you... I never seem to be able to find one when I need one. When I do though, they're usually really friendly. Perhaps, when I go they're just stretched thin. The second restaurant upstairs is more of a sports bar. Lots of TVs everywhere, and a more sports bar geared menu. A little bit smaller, with bar favorites. The drinks are always ice cold, and the service is always prompt and very friendly. I've never had any trouble getting the seats which is another plus! From up there, you can look down and see people bowling, which is a good way to pass the time if you're not into whatever's on TV at that moment. They also have a small patio outside with a couple of tables and TVs where I believe you can smoke. Speaking of the bowling alley, It's fun! I'm DEFINITELY not a professional bowler by any means. I'd hardly say I'm an amateur. But I do have fun bowling with my friends and family. For people with small children or for other folks like me in wheelchairs, they have rails that they can set up so you can roll your ball down easier. They also have bumpers that can go up or down automatically depending on which player is up at the moment. After bowling at some older facilities, I think that's a huge deal! Everybody else can bowl without the bumpers, and I can throw them up, so I don't roll a gutter every other time. Food is definitely popular throughout the entire complex, and it's offered here as well. They have a small selection of appetizers, as well as pizza. You can also get drinks served. The servers always seem to be stretched thin here, So if you see one, flag them down as soon as possible so you can get your order in. During the week, you pay for each game, however, on Friday and on the weekend, you pay by the hour. This can be good or bad depending on how fast you want to bowl. I would think it would hurt their food sales because everybody would be in such a rush to bowl they wouldn't want to take time to eat. You can pick up shoes for a couple bucks if you need them. They also offer a promotion where if you see a different color pin in the one position, and you get a strike, you win cash. I really wish I could provide a review on the laser tag arena, however, since I'm in a wheelchair, I'd make an easy target! Maybe I'll go in there someday just to check it out, but for now, let's focus this review elsewhere. The arcade has enough games to keep your kids busy while you're finishing dinner or having a drink at the 347 Grill adjacent to it. It's definitely not up to the level of the Gameworks, or D&B but there's definitely some good Time killers in there. They keep the area clean which is a plus. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit! P.S. Say goodbye to your cellular signals. They do offer free Wi-Fi though.

We went during spring break on Monday and found out that it was dollar games and dollar shoe rentals, (GREAT DEAL), This place was clean, Mason was awesome. And for a bowling alley, it wasn't too loud. The only downfall was the lane servers weren't the friendliest and took forever to come by.

    (4)
  • Tony G.

Awful, AWFUL experience from start to finish. The bowling lanes are barely functional, the floors are sticky so you can't slide your feet when you throw the ball. Twice while we were playing the gate came down after the ball had been thrown. The lane also mysteriously shut off during the game and wasted 10 minutes out of the hour we rented the lanes for. After 20 minutes we had to flag down a server just to get drinks & food, beer was fine but the food was only maybe semi edible. When we were leaving the alleys we had to flag down our server again to pay our bill because he never returned after he brought the food. After that terrible experience against our better judgement we went upstairs to have a beer and play shuffleboard. Well the shuffleboard table was occupied so we decided to play darts. NOPE. There were a total of two darts available for two boards, when we asked the bartender if there were more darts since you need three, he happily exclaimed "NOPE". As the grand finale we finished our beers only for one person in our group to find a sizable shard of glass in the bottom of their beer. They were nice enough to refund ONE beer and one beer only. I honestly can't remember having a worse experience anywhere I've gone and that is saying a lot. I really can't find anything good to say about this place. Go at your own risk, bring your own darts to play and also carefully check your beer for shards of glass that will shred your insides if you drink it.

This place is incredible! I love the movie theater with it's rocking leather seats. The theater also offers box seats that move in sequence to the movie, I have not tried those yet but plan to soon. It also offers balcony seats for patrons 21 or older where you may order drinks throughout the movie or maybe you just want to be served lunch or dinner. They also offer a bowling alley and arcade room. Now my favorite places of all, The Cone where they serve homemade ice cream daily and the 347 Grill. The rib-bye steak at the Grill is the best I ever had and is only half the price as the Steak House inside the Casino! Just amazing food! A really amazing place!

This place is amazing! There is so much to do here, and everything is nice! Bowling is awesome, although service can be a bit slow. The food is decent, the arcade is pretty awesome, the movie theater is SPECTACULAR and rarely crowded, the Laser Tag arena is small but the space is used well, and the Luxe Lounge is pretty darn awesome for watching sports and getting drinks! The weak link has been the 347 Grill, but I think they are getting better. The food side of this place is the only thing keeping my review at four stars instead of five. Still, the Lobster Mac and Cheese was pretty amazing, so there is reason for hope!

Dropped by here to watch This is The End. The theater was huge, the screen was very clear and the seating was so comfortable. I will definitely return here to watch a movie again if in the area. Also, this place has bowling, pool and eateries. Give this place a try if in the area.

This place is AMAZING!!! "Multi-tainment" center perfectly describes this place. You can eat, lounge, bowl, play and watch movies all in the same place! This place houses 3 restaurants (347 Grill, Luxe and Cones Café) The 347 Grill and the Luxe share the same kitchen, so you'll get the same food quality. The biggest difference between the two is the 347 Grill is family friendly and the Luxe is for adults only with more emphasis on the drinks as the bar anchors this lounge/restaurant. My group ate at the Luxe due to the wait at Grill 347; the food was okay nothing to scream about good enough to keep the night festive, the price points were dead on. I had the Mediterranean salad which was well balanced and good in size however I wish the cucumbers were more freshly cut. My husband ordered the Honey BBQ wings which were good in size, well sauced and crunchy, yum! The other people in my party all enjoyed their food as well. After dinner we headed over to the Ultra Star cinemas for a movie. For an additional $2.50 you can upgrade to the "Star Class" area upstairs and view your movie minor free with drink and waiter service, score!!! I didn't get a chance to bowl at the "Tin Pens" bowling alley but next time I definitely will. The Arcade was decent. What I like most about this place is the open concept, there are plenty of areas to lounge all around and all the areas of interest seem to flow harmoniously into one another. Give this place a try you'll be sure to love it! I'm happy I finally have a place to go when I'm in Maricopa!!! PS- They have laser tag too!

Love this place. Great food, the bowling is GREAT. We also had my sons birthday there with the room and the service and entire package was great. Had a date night movie upstairs, food and drinks then to the Luxe Lounge. Good times. Great place to go. The 347 Grill is really good too and the prices are right.

I LOVE IT! I am happy with this place. the food is good the drinks are cold and the entertainment is solid. The only reason its does not get a 5th star is the WIFI is horrible.

My husband and I LOVE the Multi-tainment Center!!! Love the movie theater and snack bar. Very comfortable seats!! Love The Cone!!! They are always so courteous and friendly. You can get samples so you know for sure you get the flavor you want and try new flavors. The ice cream is flavorful and creamy good. Haven't tried the 347 Grill, but I talked to the host one day and he was very informative and nice!! We will try it next time we go. We are planning on taking the grandkids next time and they can do all the other things, like laser tag and arcades. So glad we have this great, fun place to go for entertainment

Had a good time watching parker. Popcorn is good and it was free. star class needs some additions, like a call button so you dont have to track down your server, and the swing tables like amc and studio movie grill has.

Since the place officially opened on November 15, 2012, Maricopians have been able to treck less further for cinema and some night life entertainment. There is also bowling, lasertag, and a small arcade of family fun games. This is a very much welcome and needed venue near the casino and hotel which have also recently undergone serious updating. The whole place actually has more of a resort place feel than it had before since the addtion of the Ultra Star Multi-tainment Center. I want to point out specifically that they have Foos -ball here and that the tables are beautiful! I looked long and hard and without going all the way to Scottsdale, I could not find a decent Foos-Ball scenario anywhere. There are at least 5 tables located on the adult only upper floor of the center in the Luxe bar. The Luxe Lounge is trendy without being pretentious and is a safe and fun place to pose. Great music and also good mooding spaces ( ask me and I will explain). The place is new and they have had some growing pains early on with mis-prints on ticket seating, speediness of service, and also bathroom issues. But overall, everyone in service seems nice, food quality in the venues has been good ( 4 out of 5 for me) and the theatre is clean and comfy. Keep it up!

Okay so this place is pretty cool. I was going to go 4 stars but the servers and cost of the bowling alley brought it down a star. I visited the bowling alley first, it is a nice place and a lot of fun. Downside: there were maybe 15 people in the place and it took forever to get the attention of a server. My beer took over 20 minutes and my kids sodas almost 40 minutes. Cost wise the food and beverages were a good price but the lack of good servers made it a no no next time. Bowling was great fun, but a lot overpriced... Next we visited the arcade. It was fun, cheap and passed tome before we saw the movie. Last stop was the theater. Fair price, great staff and a very nice auditorium. The snacks were priced fairly and were good quality. Overall it was a good time. I will be back for sure.

Something similar could have opened in Town YEARS AGO if it was not for the Town of Maricopa. Well, the Native Americans saw what was needed and built it in less than one year! One of the best Movies around! The seats are great and they have Security to make sure vandalism does not take place. The movies are digital meaning no film-GREAT as I always see those spots in the upper right corner when it's time to change film reels! For our second visit, we were upstairs in the over 21 area. We ordered dinner to enjoy during the movie. I don't think we'll do that too often as it was dark and hard to see what you're eating. However the quality of the food was excellent as Grille 347 prepared it. The video gaming area is great as is the bowling alley. The Town's businesses will miss out on income due to this Ultrastar Center.

We enjoyed the bowling and the good food. The kids enjoyed the splash pad out front and the arcade. We found it better to pay for one game at a time vs per hour because we were eating as well. This is a one stop entertainment shop.

Maricopa has its own movie theatre! But wait. There's more! They have a bowling alley, new restaurant options and even dine in theatre seating upstairs. Thanks Ak-Chin. This town has needed something like this for, well, ever.

so I'm stuck in the middle with this place. Luxe has really good food and I like the theater, arcade and bowling alley but they need a SEVERE upgrade to the staff. They are far too immature and need to act way more professional.

Had a children's bowling birthday party. The staff was amazing from the coordinator , Barb who set everything up via phone and email prior to the big day, to our own personal staff during our party. The prices were extremely reasonable and included two lanes, pizza, drinks, cupcakes, private party room, balloons, and shoe rentals!!!! Cannot be beat!! The atmosphere was great and the parents were happy with food and drink service while the kids bowled. Highly recommend using them for your parties!
