I love this place. We've been going here since they opened and it's been great every single time. The lady who cooks is very efficient and the food comes out consistently good. The sushi isn't as consistent but is still good. If I had a complaint about this restaurant (which I don't) I would say it's hard to place to go phone orders because of the language barrier but that's not really a problem with the restaurant or food. All things considered I have no problem giving them 5 stars out of 5.

I had the dragon roll, dynamite roll(I think?) and the white tuna sashimi. All were good. The tempura shrimp filled eel roll was great as was the dragon. The sashimi was forgotten at first, but brought promptly upon reminder. I recommend the rolls.

I wrote my first review over 4 years ago and I am adding another star. I've moved from there, but I am so happy to be able to eat at Sushi Cafe when I go visit. The food is still excellent and the price is right. I live near Little Rock and I haven't found a sushi place that I like as much as this little place in Searcy. It is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Searcy. My favorites are the seaweed salad, the miso soup and the Volcano Roll. I've never had a bad meal there.

Visited tonight for dinner. I let the chef make whatever he wanted. I was very impressed. Had three special items not on the menu and my standby white tuna. The wife had salmon, tuna and white tuna sashimi. All were fresh and a 9.99. We ate numerous dishes that were specially made plus her sashimi, squid salad and the bill was less than $60. Similar experiences in Dallas, LA or NY would have been well over $150+ even without alcohol which is lacking in this city. The servers are not the best, but the food is. We always sit at the sushi bar and deal with the sushi chef. Makes it much easier. Most of the people we see here think sushi is cooked/fried fish or rolls with nori wrapped cucumbers and avocados. I have never had a bad meal here either in the restaurant or the numerous to-go lunch orders our office gets weekly. I would recommend this place without reservation.

The decor in this restaurant is nice and modern and clean. Honestly, Searcy has very little restaurants so Sushi Cafe is probably one of the better ones however, I make sushi at home that is tastier than some of the sushi I had here. I thought their rolls were just A-OK and standard. The spicy tuna was good but the rolls came with too little ginger. It was hard to get my waitresses attention. She was busy talking to the sushi chef half the time and she barely understood me when I ordered. I had to flag her down several times but staring her down or waving my arm everywhere; it was as if she was avoiding me.

Sushi Café is a great local place to grab some quality sushi, at a decent price. This is definitely a place that I would recommend to check out. The lunch menu is something that everyone should be aware of because it has great prices for an assortment of food. Whether you are hungry for sushi, or another favorite Asian dish. They have great prices for it all!

I am not a big sushi fan, although I did love the Bom Roll. We had the chicken and steak habachi with fried rice and vegatables, and it was all very tasty. If you like Fuji, you will love Sushi Cafe because the food is better and the price is cheaper.
