Had a good meal here. The person I was with had spag and meat sauce and it was delicious. I had a salad that, unfortunately, the restaurant was out of one of the main ingredients. They offered an alternative ingredient that I accepted, but it didn't seem to work too well. So, I have to take some blame for not changing my selection to something they had all the ingredients for. That said, the rolls were delicious and the food all had a very NY style Italian preparation taste and look. Definitely will do again when I go back to Searcy. Really expect 4 stars or better.

PASTA FINA ITALIAN GRILL REVIEW "I'm from Bwooklin!" my hostess enthuses in a New York accent as stout and hearty as Arkansas moonshine and with a friendly smile the size of Texas. Having grown up and lived half of my life near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before matriculating to Arkansas, the rich bravado of this woman's brogue was more beautiful to my ears than the eloquence of Frank Sinatra's "I did it my way," playing softly on the small radio in the background. Welcome to Pasta Fina Italian Grill, an epicure's paradise where the Italian cuisine is as pure and captivating as my hostesses' dialect, and as authentic as the full-blooded Italian chefs in the kitchen who craft each dish according to delightful family recipes imported from the Old Country. My expectations for the food at Pasta Fina are inordinately tall, despite my genetically derived stature: My grandmother, a 4-foot-three-inch Italian lady (and a large part of the reason that I'm short), instilled in me a life-long love for, and devotion to, true Italian fare. I grew up on a steady diet of remarkable Italian cooking, enhanced by ingredients and confections from Philadelphia's Little Italy. So, it is with equal amounts of enthusiasm and trepidation that I will my senses to set sail on their maiden voyage to Pasta Fina, where they are rewarded with a bounty of delights. The sassy fragrance of grilled meat and vegetables punctuates the air around the restaurant and hastens me inside. Once seated, I am promptly presented with freshly baked bread, garnished with Parmesan cheese. As I review the menu over warm slices from the crusty loaf, I appreciate that the entrée selection is broad, the descriptions are detailed, and the prices are reasonable. Reaching a decision proves challenging: There are so many good things listed! Eventually, I select the seafood combination and add to it a house salad with Cesar dressing. My meal arrives with great expediency: At 6 o'clock on a Friday night, my fully prepared entrée is brought to my table in less than 7 minutes. And what a delightful melody of flavors it is! Lobster, shrimp, calamari, oysters, and more harmonize with linguini in an orange-hued bisque, their succulent overtures and colors mingling with the tang of fresh-sliced lemon that conducts this tasty symphony for the palette and ode to Italian heritage. When my napkin finally falls, like a starched, linen curtain at the end of this well-orchestrated meal, I marvel at how blessed the Searcy community and I are now that the owners of Pasta Fina Italian Grill have brought Italy to our town. Especially since Italy tastes like indulgences from my childhood prepared by real Italian chefs and served with an authentic "Bwooklin" accent as genuine as the food itself. I've eaten here seven times in the past 6 months. The food is always fresh, extremely tasteful and consistent. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Pasta Fina Italian Grill needs to get a wine license. Yes I know White County is a dry county but businesses in Craighead & Faulkner Counties are too but serve alcohol.

We tried Pasta Fina when they opened, the dinner was unlike any restaurant we have tried in Searcy. The food was exceptional, service outstanding and prices were very reasonable. The second visit I tried pasta and clams The clams were tender, flavorful and fresh exceptional comes to mind. The wife asked to have a special dish made by the chef of veggies and chicken. That dish was not on the menu but when Garrett,(our awesome server) brought the dish it looked and tasted great, asparagus, tomato, red onion, artichoke, sweet onions, garlic and pasta in a light delicate lemony sauce. The owner the chef and his wife are friendly and willing to actually come out and ask how everyone is doing a nice change from the stale old places here in Searcy. Overall the menu is varied and offers many choices from seafood to veal etc. I had pasta and meatballs the meatballs were as good as any I have had in a five star restaurant in Manhattan or LA. The second trip pasta and clams. A PLEASANT ADDITION TO THIS CITY!

This place is ok. Not bad. Not great. Service was good on my visit. The interior of the place has potential (I like the interior brick wall, arched windows and stereotypical Italian music) but a few design choices leave you scratching your head (orange walls?) The food was ok. The menu is large - a little too big with too many choices. Prices are on the higher end for dinner in Searcy. Most entrees $12+, which I don't mind paying if the product/experience is worth it. The pre-dinner rolls taste and look just like bread I've had at several other cookie-cutter Italian places. That's not a compliment. The dipping sauce is an olive oil and herb blend with a mix of cheap-tasting balsamic. Left a funky taste in my mouth. Dinner for us was spaghetti and meatball, fettuccine alfredo and a Pizza. The pasta was good - tasted fresh. The marinara sauce was good. The alfredo was bland. Needed some garlic and/or seasoning. The XL 18" pizza was huge. Big enough to feed 3-4 people. The crust was thin but good. Reminded me of a New York style pizza. Italian dessert? I have to try the tiramisu. Unfortunately, it is not made in-house and wasn't anything special. It had a pudding consistency. Not worth the $5 they charged for it. Again, not bad but not great. After eating at both, I would choose Pasta Grill if eating Italian in Searcy.

We ate here today and throughly enjoyed the food as well as the great service. The service staff was excellent. Friendly and ready to ensure we had a great dining experience. They have a very expansive menu. Many great choices. The rolls were the best. Prices were very reasonable. We will dine there again.

I have eaten there several times. The service is always good. The food is about perfect. My favorite is the prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights. The best I've ever had. Quantities are generous and they have an extensive menu. Family friendly and staff is very nice. Moderately priced. My favorite place to eat in Searcy.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
