Crabbys Seafood Bar & Grill Menu

Be aware that Yelp Map places Crabbys squarely in the middle of downtown residential Rogers--which is incorrect. Crabbys is actually on the west side of 540, down Medical Blvd across from the Aloft Hotel and Holiday Inn & Suites. I came by to pick up a to-go order of bourbon bread pudding. While my order taker had polite phone manners, she was confused by how many types of pudding were on the menu--apparently a menu change didn't get communicated quite clearly. In person, customer service seemed a little aloof. I was greeted at the hostess stand and directed to the bar...then several restaurant waitstaff just passed me by while I stood there waiting for attention. Finally, the bartender broke off from a quick chat with another waiter to rush over to me to take my order. At least she knew to keep her bar customers happy. As for the bread pudding, admittedly it wasn't a large order for the $6 price point. It had the texture of wet cornbread rather than egg or custard pudding. It had a nice baked bread aroma, but the accompanying bourbon sauce was just way too strong. Perhaps served in-house, some of the alcohol might have burned off, but not in a to-go fashion. Interesting breed of bread pudding, but just not the best execution.

Went here last night. I must admit I wasn't expecting much. It has a decent atmosphere. I could see what they are going for I guess. The location and atmosphere seems to attract businessmen which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it did seem like every table was trying to talk really loud about BS to sound important. That doesn't really factor into my review but also it did stand out a bit. The food was great. Everyone at the table was very satisfied. The waiter was also great. Very helpful and patient with any questions anyone had. There was only one real option for a vegetarian but it was good and I wouldn't hold that against a place called Crabby's that is clearly a steak and seafood place. The place is pricey but felt like the food held up to it. Overall, great experience. Would definitely go back.

Love this place! Especially their happy hour and the $5 Sangrias. It's our favorite spot for date night, the few times we get out.

Delicious! Oysters on the half shell, lobster bisque, blackened tilapia and tuna, and a very fresh autumn salad. The fish tasted fresh and were well prepared. Ambiance is modern, cool, laid back. Cocktails were very good too. We will return next time the Aggies play the Hogs!

Great food! Absolutely amazing appetizers! After our first visit, we were so impressed we went back the next night!!! My wife and I love watching REAL CHEF'S work. While we can not see them performing here, what comes out of the kitchen is tremendous! The Smoked Salmon appetizer is terrific, fresh, and has never let us down!

Have visited a few times since they opened and always pleased with the food. We found out that happy hour consists of $4 appetizers and I must say, some quite yummy ones! The fish tacos are very good. We have frequented to have appetizers (4pm-6pm) and a few drinks.

Good place for a special dinner out or for a business dinner in Bentonville. Dress is anywhere from nice casual to dressy, you'll feel comfortable anywhere in between. Pros: - Nice Atmosphere - Very Good Service - Good Menu Selections - Really Fresh Fish Cons: - Its Not Cheap I'd definitely go back, and certainly will next time I'm in town.

Crabby's has nice atmosphere for sitting inside or on the patio. The service was pretty good, and the menu choices are extensive. We both got steaks - KC strip and Filet Oscar. Steaks were very tender although cooked nearer to medium rare when we ordered medium. Filet Oscar was served on mashed potatoes with asparagus and seafood topping. Steak was excellent, but the rest of the plate was not that great. We also had the shrimp cocktail which was good and salads were ok. I would definitely try it again for seafood or happy hour. The atmosphere makes it a good place to meet friends or have a drink. I was disappointed that they didn't have better brews on tap, and wine prices were very high. Good location and good prices on food.

Terrible place. Service redefines slow and impersonal. Just .bad. Food takes for ever to arrive and is tasteless. I mean bland and the fish is not fresh. Drinks are watered down and poorly mixed. Avoid at all cost.

    (1)
  • Corey O.

They get an extra point just because they have boulevard on tap. My friends had to send back dishes that just weren't edible. I had Duck there and it was just BAD. Overcooked and it just wasn't fresh. There are plenty of decent seafood places in this town (surprisingly) and this is not one of them!

We went to Crabby's for our anniversary this year, and LOVED it. They have a great wine and cocktail menu. The stuffed mushrooms we got for an appetizer are wonderful. I had the Salmon Oscar for dinner. It was served with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. My husband had a special - steak with 2 scallops. It came with the same sides. I thought it wasn't too badly priced, and we didn't care anyway since we were celebrating a special occasion. Honestly, I think the whole meal (app, 2 mains, 2 cocktails, 2 wine) ran us about $120.

  • Cathy C.

The service is great. The ambiance is chic. The food is only okay. There is no wow factor with the food. However, the seafood chowder soup is my favorite dish from here. The restaurant is called Crabby's but I was a little disappointed by the lack of dishes with crab. I would expect a restaurant named Crabby's to have mostly crab dishes. Crab cakes with every dish does not qualify. I might be a little bias since I love crab.

Excellent tuna steaks, they serve Tea Forte hot teas. Service has always been good. Love it best for lunch on Saturday. Fairly priced with wide range of food options from burgers to seafood, soups and salads.

Ugh, what an uninspiring meal. Went here with my husband and in laws, so got to try several dishes. The mussells - gross. Ate one and could not bring myself to eat anymore - too rubbery and not even remotely fresh. My husband got a steak - so bland, it didnt taste like anything - and I got the add-on crab legs, which tasted like something you would get out of the freezer section at the grocery store. Ate a few to be polite, but, ugh. My mother in law got the fish tacos, which were actually pretty good. Not traditional, but flavorful. Looking at the other reviews, maybe we went on an off night, but I don't want to waste the $$ or stomach space to find out. I'm not sure if this is a chain restaurant, but it definitely has that feel.

My wife and I decide to try Crabby's this weekend. Service was good but we were surprised as how empty it was for a Saturday night. Too bad we were set next to four kids while their parents sat at another table. Between the kids dropping their silverware and chasing each other around the restaurant, it put a damper on the meal. However, I had the crab cakes and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass. Her's was better than mine. Crab cake was OK and could have been better without all of the pepper. The seafood soup was very good and the molten chocolate cake was excellent. A little on the pricey side.

Chowder and tortilla soup were lukewarm. Nothing special. Open a can would be the same. Salad is fine. Won't be back .

Came here for a business dinner (after Bonefish said they never had our reservation). Went on a Wednesday and there wasn't much of a scene. Nice chill spot that was directly across the street from my hotel room at the aloft. Service was solid and the menu was expansive. I steered clear of the seafood and went with meat. Had a great steak cooked perfectly to my taste on a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus. It did the job

  • Andrew S.

The atmosphere is nice, but the food was not worth the cost. Tried their signature dish, Pan Seared Sea Bass, It was greasy and flavorless. What little flavor it had was from the grease.

I have been eating at Crabby's since they opened. I have always had great service and delicious food. One time we needed to send something back to the kitchen and the manager personally delivered it and adjusted our bill as well. If you hit them during happy hour you can get any wine 1/2 off which is better than any other local happy hours as well as $4 appetizers. The crab dip is great and so are the fish tacos. If you go during lunch, you cannot beat the tuna sandwich. It is a very generous sized filet cooked to order for $8! I would say if you haven't tried it- give it a try and if you had a bad experience try them again.

This place has great food, drink, and even atmosphere. I feel that the pricing reflects the chef's skills and presentation of dinner, but for value+atmosphere it didn't= expectations. On the upside if you are wanting sea food this may be one of the better places in Rogers/Bentonville. I on the other hand, would not go back. The wait staff was a big turn off

    (2)
  • Erin F.

Prices too high for the quality. Fish/seafood always overdone, sauces too salty, risotto overcooked. Mussels just yucky, slathered with leeks and rubbery. Their bread is obviously made from frozen dough and stale. Just plain not impressed.

Good food, but nothing unique.... Like another bone fish

good solid eats. what a great place to watch the olympics and while chowing down on hearty grub. we had: Crab Spinach Artichoke Dip - 5 stars Fresh Parmesan Cheese, Artichoke Hearts, Lemon & Crispy Corn Chips Seafood Chowder Cup or Bowl - 4 stars (too creamy for me) Rich and Creamy Traditional Favorite made from Shrimp, Crab, and Sweet Corn. Fish & Chips - 5 stars! Guinness Beer Battered Tilapia Served with our Seasoned Chips and Remoulade Sauce service was super friendly and they even made a tartar sauce for the fish and chips at our request.

We have eaten at Crabby's a couple of years ago and liked it but not tonight. The quality of food and service has declined. We started with mussels. They were just ok. The seasoning was not good and overpowered the shellfish. The calamari was greasy and rubbery. The seafood chowder was watery, salty and tasted bad. The smoked salmon was served in a bowl of butter on top on skinny and very few green beans and maybe one small new potato diced up. This was not the$20 entree I was expecting. It was happy hour but all the good quality alcohol was excluded. Only the cheap nasty stuff was discounted to about what you might about pay full price at another restaurant. Now it was my idea my husband I go to Crabby's. I was in a good mood when I got there but was served after arrival by a crabby waitress. I guess if I go to Crabby's I risk that the server will live up to the name. Then I just might leave crabby too.

Great Food and Fantastic Service!!! Food was excellent and the servers did let my glass go empty!!! The atmosphere was also enjoyable and not so loud you couldn't hear the others in the party speak. Tired of Loud Music and noise, where cannot visit over dinner.

Possibly the worst place I've eaten at since moving to NWA. Had to return our first order of drinks due to the incapable bartender. She also had the audacity to roll her eyes at us when we questioned her methods. The crab cakes had very little crab meat and smothered in a salty marinara sauce. The rest of our meal shared the same trend, too much salt and seemingly seafood from a can. Avoid this establishment unless you're looking for a bad time.

Went here for dinner after an exciting spring break trip to Bentonville. The decor is nice and the wait staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Was impressed with their collection of local and craft beers. I ordered the seafood scampi and while there was plenty of seafood, the flavor wasn't all there. People who ate with me ordered the seafood risotto and had similar feelings. However my wife had the seafood fettuccine and I got a taste as well, it was fantastic. Menu is pretty diverse too, with some pretty interesting offerings like tacos.

  • Ashley A.

I ordered the crab and lobster omelette. There were maybe 5 teeny morsels of seafood in it and the potatoes tasted like they came out of a frozen bag. It was all flavorless. Food was just not good. Service was great, but if the food is bad it doesn't matter much.

Hands down the best meal I have ever had in Bentonville. I would highly recommend it and will be back. Nothing to complain about.

As the closest restaurant to the aLoft hotel, this was the first place that the Front Desk staff recommended when I asked about dinner options. As I was working late, I opted for delivery rather than going in, and ordered for myself and a colleague. My colleague's grilled chicken sandwich was, by all accounts, a hit. Thing is, I wasn't getting anywhere near it, and so I'm left with reviewing my own less-than-stellar meal. I opted for a shrimp/crab/corn chowder to start with, followed by the lobster risotto. Now, on the plus side, Crabbys were nice enough to deliver two soups, but they were both let-downs. Watery and oily, with a few lonely pieces of shrimp and no discernible crab. The lobster risotto is where I was truly disappointed. The rice had a very odd texture, gelatinous, and completely unlike any arborio rice I've ever had. The lobster pieces were cut so small that it was difficult to discern them from the hunks of garlic that the dish was loaded with, but they were also distinctly underwhelming as they lacked the good crisp crackle of well-cooked lobster flesh. Speaking to a local colleague the next day, he confirmed that his experience with the risotto has also been disappointing, and that I probably ordered the only thing on the menu that isn't great. Ergo, I plan to go back and give them another shot, but they're starting in the negative column for me right now.

Came here while driving through from Dallas to head to Eureka, so of course I was pretty hungry; but luckily my friends mother and aunt were already there and had a table waiting for us right when we got in. The decor in the restauraunt is awesome, and they had a nice outdoor area to have drinks. The inside was more dim lighted - but the interior design was very neat. Our waiter was really friendly and helpful and was always on top of his service! Our drinks never got empty, so he was very attentive. For appertizers, we started with some bacon wrapped shrimp served with grits. Oh boy- those grits were SO good!! For the entree - four out of six of us ordered the seafood salad, and this was such a good choice. It came with a crab cake (oh my gosh, I want more!) shrimp, and salmon! All of which can be subbed for one another, and can also be blackened, which I loved!! All of it was cooked perfectly, so I of course cleaned my plate. I wish I lived around the area, as the portion size was perfect, the staff were all super friendly, and the pricing was just right -- not too bad at all!

  • Ty A.

The staff are extremely friendly! That being said, I found the ambience a little too dark and freezing. The calamari was really good. I had the blackened fish tacos and my wife had the shrimp tacos and the lobster bisque. All of which we found too salty. The portion of the fish in my tacos was too small. I had a good bite on each side before I got to the fish and when I did the flavor of the fish was drowned out by their cole slaw dressing in the taco. I liked the place but won't feel the rush to come back. Hopefully, things have changed.

Wait staff is very friendly, food was great and recommended by locals, ah the sweetened iced tea was great too (Home made even if for locals that's a norm but for me it was a nice surprise! ) btw I sat at the outdoor patio and the weather was perfect! The inside is a bit on the dark side..

I had four different staff smile at me and greet me! The glass was chilled and the wine is half off on Wednesdays. The tortilla soup was filling and yummy. I had lunch for under ten dollars! Thanks to the manager for being super friendly and kind to support the Junior Women Auxiliary.

By far my favorite restaurant in NWA! I go there weekly-several times a month and have never had a bad experience. Every dish I have tried there has been outstanding. Crabbys has a wonderful happy hour and the absolute best patio in the Rogers/Bentonville area. The staff members are so friendly and welcoming, and have always provided excellent service. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Crabbys. It is always my go to when I want to go out to a happy hour or for dinner.

One of my favorite haunts in Rogers. The waitstaff is super friendly, and the bartenders are very attentive. Wine Wednesday (half-price wine all day) is a typical event for myself and a friend a couple of times a month. In the spring and summer months, an occasional patio chair and a serenade from the live musician/s is a nice treat. Fridays are also hopping here, but when a concert is going on at the AMP, be prepared for a wait. The oysters at Crabby's are blue point oysters, and although smaller than typical oysters, when they're fresh, they are fantastic. The happy hour appetizer menu is great too - tried just about all of it. Aside from the oysters, the smoked salmon with toast points and the sesame crusted Ahi tuna are my favorites. The main dishes I've had include steak with green beans and cheese jalapeño grits, lobster risotto and pan seared pork tenderloin. The steak is always nicely cooked (to order) and the cheese jalapeño grits are my favorite part of the dish. I've also had the lobster risotto. I wasn't a huge fan of this dish - but it was my own fault. I don't care for truffle oil, and unfortunately I didn't pay attention to the menu when it said this was in the dish. However, the risotto was perfectly cooked, there was a fair amount of lobster - all-in-all, I'd order it again sans the truffle oil. Now the pan seared pork tenderloin was magnificent. The pork was cooked perfectly and the accompanying roasted sweet potatoes and other accoutrements were superb. The food is very good here, whether you're grabbing a quick bite of an appetizer or staying a while with a main dish. The service though, the top shelf service keeps me coming back!

This place gets 5 stars for several reasons. 1. Service was outstanding. ZACH ("zatch") was our server, and we had a ball with him! He was friendly, engaging, and funny. Ask to be seated in his section! 2. I had the steak salad. DELISH. I cannot remember the dressing I had, but my friend had a salad w/their house dressing. A hint of LAVENDER. LAVENDER! It was SO GOOD! My salad was soooo good. And a big portion, which was nice; it is sometimes hard to get full on salad. Zatch let me take out the cheese and add corn. Mmm... I would have steak salad every day if i didn't have to make it. I digress. 3. We had the chocolate lava cake. O... M... G.... It was the perfect portion size - in a cup (not so big so that we felt like we had to finish it). And the outside of it was nice and had a little crunch, with the ooey gooey inside. I want it NOW! 4. The price was RIGHT! My bill was $20 with my big giant salad and dessert, and a drink. Check it out. I'm from New Orleans and was in Rogers for a conference. Will definitely return if I ever happen to be there in my lifetime again.

My absolute favorite place to eat in NWA!! The food is delicious; I'm a very picky eater and I've never had anything there I didn't love. The waitstaff is friendly; the GM regularly comes around and checks to make sure everything is perfect. The drinks are also very very good. We always look forward to an evening out at Crabby's. Highly recommended. Thanks Joey and everyone there for making our evenings fun and yummy.

Northwest Arkansas doesn't have a whole lot of Sunday brunch buffet spots and as a buffet aficionado, that's a shame. I gave Crabby's a try with high expectations. Sadly, I can't say that my expectations were met. It's a long buffet line with scrambled eggs at one end and an omelet station at the other. (Why aren't they together?) In between, sausages, bacon, grits, fruit-stuffed crepes, a savory rice casserole, beans, and other lunch items. I'm one who prefers to make my own waffles, so having a helper for that turned me off. The roast beef carving station was good with a massive bowl of au jus and (bonus!) horseradish sauce. Desserts up there included a bread pudding (way too sweet) and some petit fours. Nothing special but nothing wrong. It just... wasn't. Our waiter was great and that's always a plus. But I feel that Crabby's just didn't hit the mark.

This has always been one of my regular stops when in town. The food and service has always been very good. Last night was another good experience, however the service at the bar was quite slow and my grilled mahi didn't come with the vegetable medley as advertised. I am still giving it a four based on my past experience but will revise after my february trip. The Sea Bass is the best thing on the menu.

I have been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food was excellent and the staff was nice and light hearted. Tonight's dinner, blackened chicken pasta was very good. The portion was very large and I saved room for the bread pudding. It's a 20 min wait which I knew. The first time I had the bread pudding it was amazing. Tonight's bread pudding wasn't good at all. The oven was too hot and the edges were crisp and the center was raw. I was picking at it and the bar tender came over (I was eating at the bar) and she asked how it was... I said it was raw in the center, the oven was too hot. She said "oh, that stinks" and walked off..... I have worked in a lot of restaurants, from High end (nicer than here) to low end and I would have never said that nor handled it that way to a paying customer. Especially at one of the nicer restaurants in the 10 mile area. I can go a lot of places if I wan't to spend that kind of money on chicken and pasta. I am leery of going back, next time I do I will be a dick about it. A smile and a microwave could have solved my problem. I would have even taken a smile and a sorry. The bar wasn't busy and there was no excuse, kitchens make mistakes and I get it. All problems can be solved and this wasn't attempted at all. A shame.

Great atmosphere, the lighting is lowered, there is bar seating and a few tables at the bar. I had the filet and it had the most wonderful flavor and was cooked to perfection. The salad was iceberg, disappointing, and the mashed potatoes were luke warm, aso disappointing and, because of that, I didn't eat them. The cherry tomotatoes on the potatoes were very hot. There is quite a fish menu and my girlfriend said her fish was great. I would go again for the steak and atmosphere.

Every year, I am sent to Wal*Mart hell, so I can attend the annual supplier summit, and every year, I find myself at crabby's for happy hour, and this year was no exception. I met some fellow business associates for a little downtime, and found HH is still great. Now, I am not a drinker, but $3 beer seems inexpensive to me, I think my lemonade might have been the same price (although I think I got a free refill). We also ordered appetizers, and I would have given a better score if they had the calamari, but I opted for the ceviche which was pretty good, but served in a glorified martini glass that was pretty, but not convenient. We also had these mini sliders that were pretty yum, and for the price, not too shabby. Our waiter was attentive and funny, and we were never lacking for anything. He suggested the chocolate molten cake which has about a 25 minute prep time ( he did warn us) and it was well worth the wait. Now from previous posts, you might realize I like my desserts, so it was most unfortunate that I went to HH with men, who do not do the 'buy one of everything so we can share' thing... So I didn't really get a chance to test out the desserts. Crabby's has a nice atmosphere, a little dark, but nice atmosphere. I had to sign in when I walked in, not sure what that was about, but I just chalked it up than Arkansas thing. For an inexpensive good happy hour, crabby's is the way to go!

Not impressed. The menu was subpar and the service was right next to horrible. Our waitress was clearly not a people person, kind of awkward. The food was okay, nothing special and for the price it wasn't what it should've been. Plan on spending between $25-35 per entree and it's nothing special. Go to Bonefish instead. :)

My husband and I visited for our anniversary. We had the crab and smoked Gouda stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and I had the lobster bisque. Both of those items were good. Not excellent but good. The mushrooms were very large and could have been cooked to a more tender consistency before the stuffing was added. My husband had the salmon and asparagus salad which he said was very good. I chose the coconut crusted tilapia which was a mistake. It was very bland and uninspired. It had no spice including no salt and there was no coconut flavor to the breading. The jasmine rice with which it was served was bland and flavorless as well. There was some kind of chili sauce on the fish and rice that tasted like it came out of a bottle. I had high expectations based on the recommendation of friends but was disappointed. I would consider going again to try something different since the other items we ordered were decent but this trip was not at all what I expected.
