We rented two double bed rooms and they were both extremely clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were kind enough not to charge us a night of our missed reservation. There are two cute rocking chairs on the porch right outside our room to enjoy the cool air. Overall the rooms exceeded our expectations.

We stayed here on a Saturday night so we could hunt for diamonds the next day. We don't stay in many mom & pop hotels, but were quite impressed. While nothing too fancy, it was just a clean honest place to stay. The proprietor at the front office was very sweet and offered some good southern hospitality. Will be back!

What a fantastic hotel. First off, the office is beautiful. It looks like the nicest house your grandmother might have stocked with the coolest antiques. The staff there is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Southern hospitality doesn't begin to describe it. As for the room, it was fantastic and well worth the peak price of $100 a night that we paid. The beds, furnishings, and the TV were what you would expect from a 4 star room in a big city. The free wifi was also appreciated. We will definitely be back at this hotel when we come back to mine.

I'm a little mixed on the Queen of Diamonds Inn. The beautiful wife and I stayed here for two nights and while on a diamond hunting trip and while it's a nice place, I just can't get super excited about it. Upon our arrival, checking in was fairly smooth, but it was a little...impersonal? I've been greeted better at regular chain hotels. This pattern followed at checkout (didn't even get a "how was your stay?") The room was fine, but it wasn't worth $89/night. Comfy bed, funky A/C that was loud when it was on and when it wasn't, the silence was deafening. The shower felt like one of those "one piece" things that you get installed over an old shower. It felt really squished and had a fairly dramatic slant down toward the drain. I'm being picky, but hey, it's my dollar. The continental breakfast was basic (bagels, toast, cereal, juice, prepackaged cups of fruit). Short story short, I wouldn't call this place a bed and breakfast, beyond the fact you sleep in a bed and there's a breakfast available. It is centrally located (across from Buddy's), but to the park, it's a pretty solid distance (technically I think it's around 2 miles, but it feels like more, even driving). I probably wouldn't stay again.

The Queen of Diamonds is a rare gem indeed. Pity that the rooms vary so much. I began my week in Room One. The stench of urine was strong, but I did not ask to change rooms until I busted the local teenage boys urinating in my AC. No WONDER Room One smells so bad! After I changed rooms, I became much, much happier. Room Number two did not smell of urine and I noticed on my third night that the boys really only target Room One and ignore the rest of the AC units. I also enjoyed access to their laundry facilities. B- grade, which for Murfreesboro translates into an A- because I grade on a curve.

They do not allow service dogs for veterans unless the service dog is for the blind. They require photocopies of all identification card for the dog or you will be forced to leave. When explained to them that it was against the law to do so they told me to leave. This hotel doesn't accept veterans or their service dogs and I would never stay here again...

We arrived in Murfreesboro Saturday evening, after a long day in Little Rock. After pricing the other two motels along the main drag, we decided the extra $10 ($89 for a double) for the Queen of Diamonds was the best choice. We took an evening dip in the pool before it closed. It was clean and refreshing. The other guests were pleasant. The entire evening had a friendly, homey atmosphere. Our rooms were clean and, honestly, larger than the Holiday Inn's room we had stayed in while in Little Rock. In the morning, a full continental breakfast was provided. Again, all of the guests seemed to gather together and share their stories. It was like a morning with old friends. The Queen of Diamond is, by definition, a motel. However, it has that great b&b feel that many crave while visiting a small town!

Look, the staff is mostly friendly and the rooms are more or less clean. But the fact is that this motel is the chief inn for tourists looking to explore the state park, for which Arkansas is arguably most famous for. With that being said, this inn is NOT at par level for 2015. 1) The Wi-Fi. Oh goodness, the WiFi. Terrible. Atrocious. All but nonexistent. Good luck finding internet when the WiFi is not connecting and your cellular provider isn't available. 2) The "breakfast" is so badly prepared and badly hidden from the store bought labels. Also there's the fact that there's no room for people to move around in the breakfast room! Very poor. 3) The pool is badly kept and the water is oddly revolting. 4) The rooms still have the same square TVs they had 15 years ago. The only difference is that the cable is somehow worse and malfunctions to the point of hopelessness. 5) They don't provide proper soaps and shampoos. 6) I get the literal room "keys", but do they have to be in such poor shape? 7) The hours of the people at front office is downright lazy. Overall, the place is outrageously primitive, and has no place in the 21st century for tourists of the great Southwestern Arkansas landscape.

Overall decent place. The hotel is pretty old, but they keep it clean. The continental breakfast is very limited, but there are a few other places in town. The rooms are basic, offering slow wifi and old mattresses, so overall I rate this place 3 stars. To sum it up its a decent place to hit the sack after digging for diamonds.

Great rooms for great prices. Stayed in one of the suites. Very spacious. It had a separate sleeping area and the front room. The room had 2 decent flat TVs with a surprising amount if channels. It had a nice big bathroom and the kitchenette was a nice bonus. The couch had a hideaway bed too. My husband and I played the miniature golf. The price was a little high, $6.00/PP, but it was an 18 hole course and pretty fun. The pool was closed, but looked clean and inviting. We will checking out the continental breakfast in the morning. I'm hoping it's as good as everything else has been. I will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in the area.

Got in town at 10:15 pm. They were closed. Called them and they said we don't rent rooms after 10 pm. I guess they don't want money!

Wonderful experience at a great hotel in a little town. The family and I came to town for a couple of days to dig for diamonds and to visit the Indian Village historical site. We stayed in the two room suite building and were very satisfied with the experience. Inspite of being just off the road, we could hear little to no road noise. We slept very comfortably in the beds...very surprised. The continential breakfast was basic fare, but there are other breakfast options nearby.

Wow, I did not expect this! The Queen Of Diamonds Inn was a relaxing and enjoyable experience (unlike the previous night's experience at a different Murfreesboro Motel). I was greeted at the check-in counter by very nice staff. The lady told me which room I would be staying in and when I realized that was a room on the ground level I immediately asked for a room on the top level. The lady was happy to check for a different room and was able to accommodate my request. The room was awesome. I wouldn't have expected such nice furnishings. The room was very spacious and had a flat screen tv, modern bathroom, comfy beds, clean carpet and tile flooring, and other nice amenities. The town is pretty quiet and not much noise came through the walls. The breakfast in the morning was a continental breakfast and did the job. If I ever come back to Murfreesboro, I will definitely be staying here.

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff were very nice and friendly. The office is really cute, comfy and welcoming. We had the mother n law room, it was very nice, my mother was with us and she had her own room. Only thing that would have made it better would have been to have a door on the room where the sink is so that you could get dressed with out having to make your family go into another room.

Best place to stay in Murfreesboro, by far. Got this tip from a friend who also went diamond mining (good luck with that one!) Zane at the front desk was wonderful - polite and professional. He even let us preview the two rooms before we made a decision. They also have menus of the places to eat in town at the front desk, really helpful. Room was good, had fridge and cable, we were happy. Do try to get the rooms behind the office. The ones by the road were a bit noisy. The bed, however, is one of the most comfortable in a while. Beats Marriot and Best Western, hands down! Would definitely stay here again if ever to go back. Would d
