What a great find. Was road-tripping and found this spot on Yelp not too far from the Interstate. Pretty good Americanized Mexican food. The menu was quite extensive. Almost overwhelming...so odds are you're going to find something to your taste.

What makes this place one of my favorites is the great service and coolest, friendliest staff around! I love the food and it is incredibly cheap, especially for how much you get. Love this place.

The fajitas with chicken, steak, shrimp, and BACON was an amazing dish, a must try! The single order is really enough for two people just order another set of tortillas. Double is for gluttons. Salsa and chips were tasty as well.

This was a good restaurant! It's not the best I've ever had, but it was a good, solid, exactly what you expect kind of Mexican restaurant. Of course, this is an Americanized Mexican restaurant, but that doesn't matter. The food is good, fast, hot, and smothered in sauce and cheese - just like we like it. We stopped in while driving from Texas to Indiana. I was pleased to find a decent place for lunch. Service was only so-so. I'm not sure why, because there was hardly anyone in there (weekday, around 1:30PM, so it's natural it was empty). Their salsa was not at all to my taste, and I didn't eat more than a couple bites. I don't know what was wrong with it. It was very bland and tasted basically like canned crushed tomatoes and not much else. The restrooms, however, were spotlessly clean. True, the fixtures and such were old and not in the best shape, but it was CLEAN. Essential when traveling.

Friendly, fast, good prices and Clean. I thought food was a little bland and salty .. my daughter loved it.. but am comparing to Mexican food from Texas... it was good.. The staff were very nice and that is a big deal to me. Great food is awesome but if it is served by rude snotty people it leaves a bad taste !

Very friendly service. When looking at the exterior of the restaurant it almost looks like it's going to be a dive bar. You walk in and the decor is nice and it is perfect for family outings. Food choices were extensive and very affordable. The food was typical north of Texas Mexican taste but still somewhat authentic. The chef messed up a bit with too much salt on the beef. Overall would return to this place with the family. Food was a three but I'm very picky about Mexican food, I gave them am extra star for the very friendly service.

Food was great! Prices are extremely reasonable, the most expensive item on the menu for a single dinner was less than $12.00. They don't serve margarita's or beer. Restaurant was clean and cute on the inside, don't let the strip center location fool you.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
