Delivery from here, 7/31/10 Damngoode Pies was my first meal in Fayetteville, and while I enjoyed the overall experience, I was not super impressed with the food. First of all, I should note that I experienced outstanding customer service both before and after my order. I called the restaurant about an hour before I ordered to get a sense of their menu and what kind of pies they served (I didn't have internet at the time). I spoke to a very friendly girl who efficiently ran me through their menu, explained a couple specials, and just generally made sure i knew everything i needed to know. When i called back later, the same girl took my order, confirmed it and got things in motion quickly. Later, before the driver left the store, he called to confirm my address, as he didn't have a firm grasp on where my apartment was located, but after getting that straight, my pizza was delivered still piping hot. The driver himself was also very friendly, and we talked for a minute about the restaurant and what other cool places there are in Fayetteville. He was also generous with the crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese. Rarely have I experienced such good and friendly service from a pizza joint. That alone is a reason to give them my return business. My pizza and cheese bread, while good, was not outstanding. As a first time customer, i ordered a standard pepperoni pizza on thin crust (the pizza by which i judge ALL pizza places, if you can't do that, you can't do anything) Now, pizza is one of the more subjective food arts, so opinions will vary wildly, but i personally found my thin crust pizza to be slightly undercooked (i like a good snap on the crust, I'm a big proponent of NY pizza), and i thought the dough was a little bland, as if the mix needed a bit of salt. Because the dough for the pizza was the same as the cheese bread, i had the same blandness issue. However, the garlic seasoning and cheese on the bread was nice, and i thought the pizza was well topped (if a slightly lower amount of sauce than i generally like). While I will likely order something a bit different on my next visit (different crust, maybe more toppings), I found my experience to be satisfying, the pricing very wallet friendly, and just generally pleasant. I will be back!

Great pizza and friendly staff! $1 PBRs are always great as I wait on take out.

Well we've waited a year to do it, and we tried it one more time this weekend... You can tell how bad a place is when you walk in at 6:30pm on a weekend and it's near empty. That's in contrast to how Dam Good used to be. The food has suffered a bit, they'll admit they don't use as high quality of meats anymore, but 2 things are killing this place. 1) Service is terrible. 2) The prices are eye-wateringly too high for the kind of service you get. Large pizza and a small salad $33. Mellow mushroom prices with Little Caesars service. Oops! Guess I spilled the beans on where your customer base is now.

They have raised their prices since I went there last. I used to enjoy their lunch special, but no longer go because of the price hike. Last time I called in a side Caesar salad with chicken, they forgot the chicken and I paid about $7.

The atmosphere is just like a pizzeria. It's more of a restaurant style, and all of their sarcastic signs and menus crack me up. As far as the food goes, it's really good. We had the Underdog when we went and it was delicious! We are locals, so we will definitely be back in!

I've only ever ordered the thin crust pizza here... so I can't comment on the deep dish. That being said, the quality of the thin crust pizza just doesn't measure up. The crust is usually not very crispy, there is not enough sauce to provide much flavor, and the toppings just don't taste all that great. I don't know what it is, but each time I get the sausage or pepperoni it seems that they are just slapping Hormel on there. I might be wrong, but it does not taste like it. I've been to locations here and in Little Rock, and I've been unimpressed with both. I would recommend Gusano's (or even US!) over Damgoode, despite its cult following.

Nuts in the pizza and not stated on menu, not good if you are with someone with a nut allergy! Will never be back! Also the pizza was not that good.

One of our favorite pizza places in NWA. The food is amazing and it makes our friends jealous when we go with out them. The staff is on point with drink refills and menu recommendations. Overall a great pizza place.

The pizza was, dare i say it, damgoode! The stuffy crust and pink sauce are my favorites and the crust is delicious! However, the horrible service brought this five star review down to a two. I actually thought the servers were customers since most of them decided to sit at the bar and watch tv. The waitress gave us our drinks and didn't check on us for the rest of our meal. We had to pretty much ask for more drinks ourselves as our waitress decided the tv was more important. One of our plates had food on the corner of it, which wasn't that appetizing at all. We had to ask for a box twice. Over all, great food, horrible service.

Had the stuffy here. Red sauce, sausage, pepperoni, spinich, red onion, and green peppers. Excellent. I have eaten at the Rogers location and the only difference is the italian sausage seemed to have more flavor (fenal). I love these pizzas!!! This almost reminds me of Chicago

I can always make room for a good damn pie... Especially if it is a Damgoode pie. There are a variety of pie combinations and topping selections. They can make a pie for any kind of pie lover. They have different appetizers and there is a good salad selection. The salads come in half or whole orders. They also offer great subs, individual slices, and there is a good happy hour. This place is worth a visit for any pizza lover.

I really like the ambiance of this place- casual, laid back, young, hip. We had decent service. They made our pizza wrong but made us a new one, we just had to wait longer to get our food. The appetizer, damgoode a trois, was very good! We had the bbq chicken pizza and it was not great, kind of dry and bland. They do have a decent beer selection with some local beers, and the bartender was very helpful explaining them. Overall, if I came back to town again, I would probably try someplace else.

Excellent pizza, but service was SOOOOOOO slow! I came into the restaurant in the middle of the day and there were only a few customers in the place. I placed a carry out order and it took at least 30 minutes for me to receive my order. Additionally, the 'large' salad for $8 was so small. Not worth the money. The 5 cheese pizza is delicious, but now I know to pre-order by phone and hopefully by the time get across town to pick it up, it'll be done. I will go back to try pastas, etc- but I hope they speed their service up significantly.

Mediocre food. My friend's order was wrong and the server made no attempt to make it right. The grilled chicken on my Caesar salad was cold. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Warm chicken is not that difficult to make happen. Not returning.

Damn Good pies has DAMN BAD SERVICE. Quite possibly the worst service around. Came in at 4:15 and left at 6:00. No drink refill...no dinner. Said although everyone around us that had arrived long after us were served and finished, the computer went down and only our order was lost. Good service could have over came the obstacle but no service was all we had. In the end. We had to leave for the game so yeah charged us for the drinks and said goodbye. Attitude was lackadaisical and that was unfortunate. Hopefully they can overcome with good leadership. I hope so.

Came here while traveling and was one of the only things open! The pizza was good -- I tried pesto -- and featured many options and toppings. The service was friendly and helpful and the pizza was large and filling! However, things were on the slow side and food was pricey, especially a side salad.

Menu was humorous, sarcastic. Service was a bit slow. Bread sticks were hot and delish. Shrimp pesto pizza was nice.

OK I ordered tonight.. I have a new number as of a few months ago so maybe they do not realize how good of a customer I have been for them. but tonight I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have a PINK sauce and not a red sauce. a STUFFY pizza.. and well its red. the manager refused to correct it standing by his statement that I am WRONG??? ok well this wife of a disabled veteran will stop boasting about your amazing pizza and service. I haven't been ordering as much in the last six months because I travel on business.. but before this I was a regular. NOW I will be taking my ordering elsewhere. I am done paying for your over priced pizza that apparently you believe is perfect. Perfect enough that the Customer is Always Wrong. And if I decide I do want a DAMGOODE PIE I will drive to Rogers rather than ever EVER ordering from you again. I recommend Gusanos. They have never made a mistake with me. Love, Your NEW YORKER living here in ARKANSAS!

I love everything about this place except the service. Incredible pizza, beer, laid back atmosphere; but every time I have to wait forever to get attention from the one or two people working the whole restaurant

Great taste for food and the atmosphere was good too. Noticed the crust was a little burned but not badly so it was fine for me. Server was friendly and a joy to have. Overall a good experience.

We had a lot of fun here on a Friday evening. This is a cool pizza place in a college town. The service was friendly, the pizza was good and the beer was cold. What else are you looking for in a pizza place with a name like Damgoode Pies? Don't listen to the people who brag about the pizza they have had in New York, Chicago, or even Italy, this establishment makes no claims to be like any of these places, and its pizza is great. We ordered an Artie, a pizza with artichokes, and it was very good. They have local breweries on tap, including Fossil Cove. The menus are funny, and the place was very busy. We liked the atmosphere and the food, and we will go back.

Well I was ticked they burned my pie and I had to wait an hour while they fixed it... and they didnt offer free bread or anything while I waited... the stuffy is there attempt at Chicago style pizza, leave it to Chi town! the regular pies are great yet this did not stand out!! They were not busy at all, late, almost closing, yet thats no excuse for burning pizza... and make up for it for pity's sake!!

Fun place, good service, great pizza! They're choice of sauces are great. My favorite is the spicy white to use as a dipper.

Was traveling around Fayetteville wanting pizza, and chose this place based off previous reviews. Was not disappointed! If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, check this place out. Lots of choices - choose your crust, choose your sauce, choose your toppings. And as mentioned previously, larger array of sauce choices than typically. In fact, perhaps the largest I have seen thus far. We ordered a 10'' Spicy Five and 10" with pesto cream sauce, chicken, and artichoke. Both were tasty. The Spicy Five has spicy white sauce (cannot recall name) which we didn't notice was spicy at first because the pizza itself was still hot, but eating leftovers the next day, it was noticeable. A bit hot for me, but I am a baby when it comes to spice sometimes. Great flavor, though. The pesto cream pizza we got was great, too. We tried both with the hand-tossed crust. I personally thought it was a bit pricey, but I do appreciate that they are offering something more than your typical chain pizza place. And we did have leftovers, so it was under $10/person considering that. Service was great, and I liked the atmosphere, as well. I would give 4.5 stars, as this place was pretty good. Perhaps it is worth 5, but I admit I am saving my 5 star pizza rating for my personal all-time favorite back home ;)

Damgoode Pies! The name says it all! This is one of my favorite pizza joints in Fayetteville now! They have several different sauces and several different crust types that I am slowly working my way through. The Pink Sauce is great! It is a mix of the regular tomato based red sauce and alfredo I think. They have a meat lovers type pizza that is awesome (named something like Big Pig or something like that). If you have a BIG appetite try the stuffed pizza which stuffs loads of ingredients and tops it with another crust and sauce. I could only eat 2 pieces of that before yelling for a to go box. The stuffed mushrooms are great as are the Razor Buns ( I think that's what they are called) which are little buns covered in cheese, bacon and jalapenos. We have dined in and had carryout and delivery and all were good. Give this place a try if you are looking for a new pizza joint in Fayetteville. Only drawback is that it is a little pricey compared to some others, but it is worth the extra few dollars in my opinion.

I'm such a sucker for pizza. While I miss Hoffbrau, I'm loving Damgoodpies. You can dine in, get take out, or get it delivered. You can also order by phone - or via internet! They breakdown the pizza by toppings, sauce (9 options), and crust (thick, thin, hand tossed). They also have a full bar and tv's so it's a welcoming place to just hangout for a bit with/without appetizers. What's my favorite you ask? Well, right now I'm diggin the Funky Chicken with spicy white sauce on thin crust. But with all the options I never get the same thing 2x in a row!

I tried Damgoode Pies a few weeks ago for the first time while visiting my family from out of town. My son and I ordered the Stuffy Supreme and it was good, but certainly not as great as I was lead to believe by my sister. Their build-your-own menu is quite extensive and I have to admit that I was impressed, but ultimately I went with a signature pie because it was less daunting. Honestly, I'm sure I'll skip Damgoode Pies next time I'm in town - I'm not anxious to give them another try.

If someone from another planet came to Earth and said "Take me to pizza" and you brought them here, they'd probably think it was pretty good. It has all the pizza components (dough, sauce, cheese, toppings), but from someone who grew up around the best pizza in the country, this was pretty meh. That said, it was super cheap, and caters primarily to college kids, so they don't need to try too hard. Side note, the best pizza I've ever had goes like this: 1. Naples, Italy 2. New Haven, CT 3. East Village, NYC, 4. Brooklyn, NYC 5. Northern NJ Service was pretty good, except we didn't even sit down yet, and the waitress is asking about drinks and appetizers. Mind you we have a 15 month old with us and are trying to get his high chair situated. I appreciate prompt service, but just give me a minute. I don't even know what beers you have yet (I wound up scoring a $1 PBR can). But from then on, service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. So it was all good. They had plenty of TVs. Lots of gimmicky pizza options. They have 8 different sauces to choose from (from a traditional-style sauce, to an alfredo sauce *who would want that on a pizza?*) Pizzas come in a few different sizes, 6-10-14 inch, and 3 different crust styles - hand tossed, thin crust and one that's folded over like a stromboli. Then they have a bunch of pizzas with clever names, or you can just pick your own toppings. We ordered 2 appetizers for the table. The stuffed mushrooms were pretty good. There was also a french bread covered in cheese and your choice of 4 of the 8 pizza sauces. This was OK. It was like something you could make at home in a toaster oven. But again, bread + sauce + cheese = tasty. I judge pizza by a simple pepperoni, so I got that with the hand tossed crust, which was heralded as their "New York-style" crust. Fuggetaboutit! It was thick and doughy. Not like anything you'd find in NY. The sauce (traditional red) was fair, but the pepperoni was undercooked and limp like thin sliced salami you'd find in an antipasto. Not like the nice, crispy pepperoni you get at a good place. I ate most of my pizza, but couldn't choke down the crust loaf. My father in law got the thin crust pizza. The crust was like a saltine cracker. It didn't look appetizing. The manager came out toward the end of the meal and asked how everything was. Of course we all said it was good, because he seemed like a nice guy, and we're probably not going to do any better down here. And after all, pizza is like sex, right? Even when it's not that great, it's still pretty good.

My family and I had the veggie pizza and a pepperoni pizza and both were delicious, and I could eat their cheese bread every day. The pesto sauce and spicy pink sauce were both really good. Somewhere on their menu it claims that their pies are "New York style crust" and it is definitely not that, but it is delicious nonetheless. I look forward to going back the next time I'm in town!

We liked their pizza until last week and we both got sick !

Mediocre service brings a five-star experience down to merely three. The pizza was excellent, but the coffee was served cold originally, and then, when it arrived, tasted...strange. Service was inattentive, for the most part. However, I must say that their pizzas are of the highest quality. Their hand-tossed crust is prepared with (from what I could detect) a hint of honey, which really makes the dough sing. The Spicy Five pizza is a must-try. A fantastic restaurant, but their service could improve, as well as the atmosphere which, for now, is non-existent.

Everyone has their favorite, but in my opinion this is the best pizza in the area. I usually defer to pepperoni as a standby for most pizza joints but I'll even eat (GASP) a vegetarian pie here. We enjoy the exposed brick interior and lively environment. Everything is good, but definitely try the pink sauce on any pizza.

I like this pizza joint, altough i would prefer mellow mushroom better. Mostly because mellow mushroom has its own parking lot!

The thin crust 6 inch pizzas and side salads are delicious and quite filling.

Dangoodpies! I agree Great price too! Appetizers: Their stuffed mushroom in awesome. Wings is good but can be better. Pizza: Try the pie which has ground beef with the pink sauce. Stuffed and Thin crust is very good. Hand tossed is good. Beer: Very good price. I always get wheat on draft or pitcher.. .. So no complains. More selection on draft could be great! Desserts: Who needs desserts after so much pies The seating and settings are great. The booths could be more spacey
