When you walk into Briar Rose Bakery, or even just drive by, you can tell a lot of thought and money was put into the design of the place. It resembles what you might think of as a fairy tale cottage...complete with some, well, creepy feelings. On several occasions I've been to the place and while the baked goods are certainly not bad, they're not anything to rave about. What concerned me was the lack of attention towards the costumers and the lack of attention towards selection. Walking into a new place, I should be greeted with warmth and told about what the place has the offer. Instead, I was greeted with silence on all occasions and just a general bewildered look from the staffers. It made me very uncomfortable. Their sausage roll was served cold and their selection was very limited in terms of what one might expect to find for breakfast at a bakery. I would suggest trying another bakery... while their food is okay, it's not worth the side of awkwardness with which it's served.

Happened to be there for their soft opening this weekend. Inviting atmosphere, fabulous food! I had a turkey bacon sandwich with caramelized onion, avacado on ciabatti roll...man was it good. Decided on a sausage roll for dessert (I know, totally crazy but couldn't resist) which meant I had to bypass the wonderful looking pies and cheesecakes. I loved it! I ended up trying a bite of my daughters ham and brie sandwich. I may give that a try next time. My guess is these guys will rock Farmington.

The food is outstanding. I have eaten both breakfast and lunch here. If you want to be the hit of the office, take some cinnamon rolls from Briar Rose Bakery! Very friendly people!

If visiting NW Arkansas, be sure to take a moment to drive into the small town of Farmington and stop at the Briar Rose Bakery & Deli. You'll be glad you did! This bakery is super cute - designed around a fairy-tale theme. The design in general in very whimsical, complete with regular and child-sized doors. Inside, you'll find multiple fairy-tale murals painted along the walls. And, they have a nice garden patio (which was unfortunately flooded from the pouring rain while we were there.) The owners and employees were extremely friendly and accommodating...despite the fact that we arrived within 20 minutes of closing. We each ordered lunch - the Spicy Italian for me, Ham & Brie for my husband, and another sandwich I fail to remember for my Mom-in-Law. All three were delicious! Fresh ingredients and homemade artisan bread. We also were told that on Sundays after noon, they offer breads and pastries half off. As everything looked delicious, we left with cranberry almond bread, some type of monkey bread, and a cinnamon roll (which I hear they are famous for.) This will now be a regular stop on my journeys to the NW part of our state.

They have tubs of fresh, flavored whipped cream for your coffee and cocoa. I had a giant cinnamon role with cream cheese frosting and my husband got the biscuits and gravy -- everything was delicious and luxurious. The bummer is that they didn't have bagels when we went. The gal at the counter said they don't make them very often because no one around here eats them. I've only been in Fayetteville for six months, but I'd give my left big toe for a fresh, well-made bagel. You can follow them on facebook to get updates about specials and specialty bakery items.

Favorite place in Arkansas...and maybe the world. Their cinnamon rolls are worth my drive up from Dallas. I even had them mail me some for my birthday last year. Yes. They're that good. The quality of the food and customer service is outstanding and the atmosphere is so charming! It my little Disney away from Disney World.

I love how fresh everything is and the atmosphere is great too. A little pricey but not somewhere you'd go every day... It's a nice quaint deli. I love their fresh breads!

Very kid friendly. My daughter loves this place. Very very good baked goods. Cinnamon rolls are from the devil! Eating anything that good has to be a sin! Great lunch menu and the soup in the sourdough bread bowl will warm you up more than fine on a winter day.

I experienced friendly staff during my visit, and have had friends that consistently enjoy this place. They have a pizza oven that they use to make pizzas during specific times (can't remember when, tho). The sandwich with brie is awesome. It has strawberry mustard that's totall (not) gross. And the cinnamon rolls are extra rich.

This little gem offers amazing atmosphere and RIDICULOUSLY good food. The employees are very friendly and chat with you while you wait. I had a turkey bacon caprese sandwich and salad that made my day. It took all that I had not to pick up a slice of their cheesecake or any of their pastries. Worth a trip to Farmington for sure!
