Had heard about this place through a friend in Batesville. We were traveling through on a day trip for business and decided to stop in. Took some searching to find it, but boy were the Wife and I pleasantly surprised. We wondered in around 2 on a Thursday a dead time for most restaurants in our area. They were not busy, but the wait staff was attentive. We both had BBQ Salads (pork). First glace at the plate had me worried about portion, I am a big eater. Turned out to be plenty, my wife couldn't finish hers. Pork was hot, tender and most of all moist. Almost melted in my mouth. I am very picky about BBQ. They had flavor, moisture, tenderness nailed. Prices were reasonable. The Keylime pie was killer. We spent $26 with tea, salads, and a piece of pie. The venue is in the old Depot Station in the warehouse district. Just follow the signs off Main Street onto Lawrence (I believe) and don't get discouraged. Its worth the discovery. Nicely decorated with a stage for music. Probably really gets hopping after dark. We'll be making it a routine stop on our next trip through Batesville, AR.

Great little off-the-beaten-path BBQ joint! The brisket was seriously some of the best I've ever eaten. Nice selection of sauces on the table, including one simply called "pig". My favorite combo is "sweet & sassy" and "hot". Excellent homemade chips, too. The vibe is country rustic with friendly small-town service and prices to match! I found it fairly quiet on a weekday lunch, but I'm guessing it's a bit more lively in the evenings with live music.

We stopped by while on a 700 mile Arkansas motorcycle ride. I found it on yelp. While it didn't have many reviews in "Arkansas", we decided to give it a try. It was a little off the main drag, but my driving directions took me right to it. It's a nice establishment, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the 1/2 chicken and my wife had a pulled chicken sandwich. Both were excellent - not over cooked like a lot of other places. I must say you should defiantly give it a try. They also have live music on certain nights.

Great atmosphere, amazing wait staff, and really good BBQ. The home made chips are a great side to the freshly smoked BBQ. They use cherry wood, so it's a different flavor than the hickory I'm used to back home. Still, great smoke job and really moist & tender. They weren't even listed on yelp when I tried to check in, and the place was quiet for lunch. This could be because they're well off the Main Street and you wouldn't know where to find them unless you looked. Still, all told. Great lunch and deff a place to checkout if you're in the area. You know what would be great with the chips? Pimento Cheese... But maybe that's just the Carolina boy in me.

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is great. Had the brisket and beans, all wonderful. Staff was friendly and attentive.
