You can never beat the original Momma G's, but this place makes me feel right at home with a painting of the original location on the wall. At this (or any) Momma G's, you must get the nachos. They are unique and delicious. Doritos with pepper jack cheese and jalapeños on top might not sound like a big deal, but they are.

I'd give these guys 3.5 stars. Friendly staff, good steamed subs, DELICIOUS nachos. If you've never been, test the waters with their Mama's Love sandwich and grab some of their famous nachos. They have great specials, like 2 for 1 on Tuesdays. Good sweet tea (yeah you know what I'm talking about... mmm I can taste it now...) Good ice (I know who cares about ice right? You do. It's the most underrated component of dining out. There's nothing bettter than finishing that last cup of sweet tea and crunching down on that thing, crispy ice that... bad for your teeth but great for your soul) Really cool atmosphere, really rustic and layed back. They have some TV's too.

Had 1/2 sandwich and soup. The french onion soup was okay, not great. I had the "Momma Love" sandwich. Very, very good! I was looking for a cheap lunch and my meal with drink came out to $9. Not bad, but I chose this place over Jimmy Johns. And I could have gotten a great sandwich at JJ's with chips and a drink for less. Just saying.

I love Momma Goldberg's! I go there mostly on Tuesdays for lunch because they have a buy 1 meal, get 1 sandwich free deal. I always get the Momma's Love w/o onion on wheat bread. I love it and will miss it when I leave T-Town! The staff is really laid back and cool too, very pleasant experience.
