Really great food here. Service was ok. I arrived just a little early before dinner service and thought they might allow me to just sit and wait until opening. Nope. Waiting in the car was not all that cool, but if the roles were reversed, I would do the same. I don't like being bothered until it's "time" either with my job. Would definitely return.

I've eaten here twice and have ordered the Bugolgi both times. For the price you pay, you should be getting a full plate of meat, but instead they mount the Bugolgi on top of a bunch of onions and noodles. Don't get me wrong, it's delicious just very deceiving. The sides they give you are VERY authentic, some items I have no clue what they are. The restaurant itself is clean and the staff provided quick service. Doesn't have much of a Korean theme decor, but then again who's coming for the decor, right!

I was thoroughly surprised by this restaurant. I thought I was back in Los Angeles eating Korean food with my friends. I guess having the Hyundai factory around Montgomery has really improved the level of Korean restaurants in the area since the last time I was here in 2008. I know my Korean food...because well...I'm Korean! Starting off: The ban chan or side dishes, for the layman, came out in a nice spread s3-media3.ak.yelpcdn.com… I would normally only find a nice spread like this at finer Korean restaurants in L.A. but the flavor and quality were definitely up there. Everything was fresh and tasty and ripe. The only thing I thought was missing was a dish of traditional napa cabbage kimchi! I've been dying for some kimchi, but didn't find it here...but to be honest, I didn't need it here! Next up! Seafood pa-jeon...aka seafood pancake ($13). It had a good amount of seafood and a whole lot of green onions. Again, delicious way to start off our journey through Korea. My American friends all enjoyed it and killed every bite of it! The red pepper flake infused soy sauce was the perfect blend as a dipping sauce for the pancake (BTW, it's made of a potato starch.) And finally! The Spicy Seafood Stir Fried Noodle. ($25) s3-media1.ak.yelpcdn.com… This wasn't quite what I had envisioned. Typically "jjam ppong" is served in a large bowl and is more soup based. This was served more like a frutti di mare....noodles with seafood drenched in a sauce. My friend and me killed this plate though! I thought it could be a little spicier and wish it was more soupy...but it had a good assortment of seafood (including 3 mussels). Flavor was on point for this type of dish....but I almost thought this was like a dduk-poki (spicy rice cake casserole). My other friends got the BOOLgogi (yes folks, the accent is on the BOOL! NOT the GOgi....say it with me....BOOLgogi....BOOLgogi.) It was piled quite high and cost $13 for a nice portion. No complaints here...just your normal boring BOOLgogi. Bottom Line: I can definitely vouch for the quality of this place! Loved the side dishes. Service was good and attentive...although we did press the button on the table once out of curiosity (but that's how Korean restaurants roll). I'd come again in a heartbeat!

Great home style cooking. Very little msg (if any). Good ol' comfort Korean food. Seolleong tang was on point.

I think this restaurant is fairly new. My husband and I have never noticed it before. We decided to give it a try, we're always up for some Korean food. The menu has pretty standard Korean fare but it also has a section of stews and soups to share. The side dishes we got were okay, nothing special. The food was pretty good, we'll definitely go back again. The restaurant is spacious and the decor is nice. It appears that it use to be a former-McCallister's, much of the interior was kept the same. Overall I liked it.
