Roadhouse style bar we visited on a Thursday with a small group. Big open spaces with a stage for live music. We happened to get there during happy hour which had small pictures for $4 and all you can eat wings for $11 (I think). Only complaint would be the one bartender that couldn't keep up with the traffic initially. Eventually a couple wait staff appeared on the floor and things got better. We likely will be back.

Stopped in on Fat Tuesday for a bite and a beer. Didn't realize that they had rolling rock on tap. One of my all time favorite beers. Had the 25oz along with the buffalo salad. Prices were good, meal was above average and the service was great. Not sure if it was the time I was in there or not, but the place wasn't very busy. Couldn't really understand it. Although it's across from a major competitors, the prices are lower. That rolling rock was only 2 buck, which really surprised me. All in all a good experience, friendly staff and locals who bring you into their conversations is you want to. I'd give this one a try.

Leaves ALOT to be desired! Hubby and I came down for holidays from DC to visit family in Alabama. This place is a "hole in the wall". The menu was limited, no music, cold inside, and only 1 bartender! Over priced for what we got! Won't be back if I'm ever back down here

Came here as a last resort since Baumhower across the street had a long wait. This place only had 2 waitresses and one bartender working. There was no beer on draft and it took almost an hour to our the appetizers. Spent 2.5 hours for our food. Knowing that there were only 2 waitresses working for the whole entire restaurant we felt bad that she lost track on who ordered what. We ended up waiting 30 minutes to get our checks in order. The whole experience was disorganized, there were hardly any options to order, and the food was cold in the end. Not their best night so this may not have been the best assessment. Even if it isn't, not too sure this place offers any better on any other day.

Food is not bad, beer is cold... No Guinness on tap... Disappointed! Fantastic live entertainment when they have it... !

This is one of those sad stories that will enrage people for generations to come. Saturday night, $10 admission. Please keep in mind, this is just a shitty bar, in Montgomery. About 95% male, and the few women there were were just buffalos. And they charged me admission. Okay. I was meeting up with people and everyone just stood around their respective tables, eyes glued to various TV screens splattered all over the bar. No matter what angle your neck is turned, you are bound to face a screen head on, likely with people shouting at it in regular intervals. Needless to say, this is not my kind of place. Fucking Montgomery.

Terribly run bar. I went to watch a UFC event and the experience from beginning to end was horrendous. The waitress wouldn't even make eye contact with my group and we had to order from the bar. Our table wasn't bussed so we had to move the trash to another table. Then they forgot to order the event so we had to wait for 15 minutes after the start of the event to see what we had paid cover to watch. Overall a miserable experience.

Went in for my first (and last) time tonight. No tables available and the hostess tells my friends and I that it's a $10 cover charge per person. I responded why would I pay you $10 when you won't provide me a table, chair, stool, etc? I'm here to eat food and drink beer, not pay $10 per person to listen to some crappy band. Don't bother with this place, their lack of business (and common) sense will ensure they go out of business sooner than later. As you can imagine, we left so I can't comment on any other aspect of this place. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. For what it's worth, my friends that were already there sitting and eating did NOT have to pay a cover. But the 5 of us who clearly look like military had to? Nice try Rock Bottom, way to live up to your name!

I have been a few times for drinks and wings. The wings are good, the menu seems to have a variety of food items. It is a bar and grill, so if you realize that when you go in you will enjoy it. I have seen a few bands play, I watched a few MMA fights here. A little of everything. Pricing is a little all over the chart, but not crazy expensive. I keep going back and will continue going back.

Pretty standard pub food. Disappointed in the fried wickles... Sweet pickles fried just didn't work for me. The buffalo chicken dip was solid, though. Burgers were thick and cooked well, but in this visit, the fries were way too abundant, cold, and rather plain. Live music on a Tuesday is legit, and Divided Seasons rocked the house. I'd go back.

We are military, and not from the area, we used Yelp to locate a sports bar for us in the area (we were TDY) so we could watch the national playoffs (NCAA). The "pub" was advertised as the best sports bar in Montgomery, and advertised that they would be broadcasting the game. The menu looked great, so off we went. Sat down, everyone ordered the usual, draft beer and waters. The waters came out right away, then our waitress came and said "we have no draft beer our tap is broken no draft beer.' SO one of the guys in the group said 'so if we are forced to get bottles can we get the same price as draft" I don't think she understood the question because it becomes and issue later. We waited 30 minutes for BOTTLES of beer. So I found the manager who trash talked his waitress (said she SUCKED at large groups so he gave her two large tables during a playoff game at a "sports bar") but the drinks were served. I ordered a Mojito, and was told "no mint leaves" just the beginning of the "don't haves" at this places... We all ordered, and got our meals piece-meal timing, but the food was yummy, I hate tomatoes, asked for no tomatoes and got them and so did the people with "special orders" whatever... then, the guy sitting next to me ordered a burger, waited over an hour, the waitress says" the grill forgot" One of the guys at the table ordered fish NO FISH, NO DRAFT BEER, NO FISH... it gets better... I use the restroom no TP No paper towels.. on the way out I see the manager again (texting on his cell he has yet to visit our table) he says "hey, sorry about all the trouble, we had a big event here THIS WEEKEND (its Monday night) and it really messed us up, I even had to LEAVE TO GO GET HAMBURGER BUNS... wait, is THAT why my friend hasn't gotten his burger yet? YOU HAVE NO BUNS? No beer, no fish, no toiletries, no buns, and a staff trashing manager. It FINALLY takes FOREVER to get our bills the poor waitress who was ALONE all night, struggled to separate the bill, she had NO IDEA what we ordered, and if we were dishonest people we could have made up for our 'bad experience". My friend who asked about getting draft prices for bottles said she didn't discount his bill... the poor waitress looked dazed. I told her to get her manager, who came over and FAUGHT with us, argued and said his waitress should have NEVER offered us a break, and then trash talked her again, and told us about his "big event" again, and we said WHY ARE YOU OPENED FOR BUSINESS??? He ARGUED and squinted his eyes at me, then he told the waitress he would take our discounts out of her tips. (she is crying at this point) so we all tipped her 50% because the management there is OBVIOUSLY abusive. Even though our meals were all messed up (but still yummy) we waited 35 minutes for bottled beer, the MANAGER was to blame... this poor girl NEEDED Help, she wasn't the 'best' waitress but by the end of the night we all thought service sucked at this place, but concurred it was management or lack there of to blame. He knew she was a weak waitress, and left her there (with us) to suffer.. He opened his establishment KNOWING he couldn't support a crowd and let his staff take the 'hit'. We all left angry and discouraged. Feeling sorry and sad for the poor girl we had to leave there crying... I hope all military read this this place has potential, but unless you want a headache that you pay for, I'd drive 45 minutes to BW3s...

Right across the street from Baumhower's Restaurant, this place offers decent competition. Definitely A-OK. We went there for Monday Night Football, and I got to watch the National League championship out of the corner of my eye. Lots of TVs everywhere. The food is fairly standard bar food, but I loved the Wickles (wickedly good fried pickles). We wanted to try the chicken livers, but we were disappointed when we were told they were out. The boneless buffalo wings were only 50 cents each that evening -- not standouts by any means, but very good. My husband and I shared a patty melt (his choice, not mine). I thought it was a little dry, but I'm no fan of patty melts. Service was good and reasonably attentive for a busy evening. We were never left wanting for another beer.

Great environment. Smaller TVs every corner and 2 huge TVs. Great place to watch sports. They show the UFC fights here. Food is pretty decent. My friend thought his steak was delicious. I had the chicken wings. The sauce was good, but the meat was rubbery. Quick service. They were very friendly.

Great venue for sports games (LOTS of TVs!), delicious food & wide music variety! Smoke-free indoors is a blessing & a large outdoor patio for smokers. A couple pool tables, friendly staff, and a variety of drinks at very reasonable prices make it a winner! Montgomery's WAKA's Kickball ( Kickball.com/ALCapital ) AL Capital League is proud to call Rock Bottom it's new clubhouse home for all socials after Thursday night games and for special discounts when off the fields! We look forward to an awesome Spring 2012 season with Rock Bottom hosting Montgomery's Kickballers!

Pretty much only place in Montgomery to show UFC. Waiting service is excellent. Place is for pub food and a good time. So it does the trick.

Went in the door and the hostess looks at me, no greeting. went to the bar and the bartendar was more concerned with counting her tips than greeting me. She finally took my order and asked for my credit card. She ran my card but kept it. said it was policy. Sorry, restaraunts are the worst for credit card fraud. Ordered the cheese fries, described in the menu as fresh cut, they were obviously frozen. When I left the hostess just looked at me with a pissed off look. I said "thank you, have a good night" to her and she didnt even blink or say a word. Friday night, the other restaraunts are crowded and they barely had ten people inside the place, That should have been my first warning. I rarely give a one star but this place deserves it.

Was out with some of the guys and we were looking for a place to play pool. One of the guys in our group wasn't 21 so we had to find a place that would let him in. Someone in the group suggested Rock bottom knowing they had pool tables. I was hesitant to go because I had gone there once at night trying to get some food and they wanted me to pay a cover. Im not paying a cover to eat. So I was hesitant to return but I went with the group. Sure enough $10 cover charge right up front. Ok Ill pay its a friday night and they have a band even if I dont care to see them and it was where everyone else wanted to hang out. I usually go to bars where there isnt a cover even with a band. Got to the bar to get a drink and find out its $10 a domestic pitcher (starting to see a pattern). I order one knowing Im going to be there a bit playing pool. Head over to the table only to find out two balls are missing from the table. Thats after we had to get the bartender to open the table because the drop mechanism is "touchy". At this point Im ready to leave because this place is giving off that rip off vibe. Sure enough end of the night everyone in my group is down roughly $30-$40 and nobody really had a good time. Needless to say Im not going back at all. Over priced, crappy cover bands, and always a cover charge at night it seems.

For the most part, it is a lot of fun. Sometimes their bands are just too over the top. Great food and AWESOME service!

I LOVE Rockbottom! Great management, staff, food, drinks & BANDS!!! My favorite thing to eat there are the Rockin' D wings...YUM! I have watched football & UFC here. They have a perfect set up with MANY televisions. There is an outdoor patio area that is great when you need a break from dancing or a smoke.

After a long drive, me and my girlfriend stopped at Rock Bottom for a drink and a casual dinner. Rock Bottom has a sports bar type atmosphere with a stage for living music. On the Thursday we were there, a band was setting up for later. They have a nice menu with a lot of traditional pub favorites mixed in with some traditional southern favorites such as their pulled pork sandwich which was excellent. They have a full bar and fairly reasonable prices drinks. The crowd seemed to be mainly college aged. The service was very attentive.
