I'm a korean american, and this food was TERRIBLE. they are so cheap (regarding the quality of the food), and the ingredients are not authentic or tasty whatsoever. i will never go here again out recommend this place to anyone i know. terrible service, too. waitress couldn't answer any of my questions about the ingredients in the dish i wanted.

One word... Horrible. Food was a disgrace to the Korean people. My wife's seafood was hard, it hurt her teeth to chew it. At the cash register we told them that and their response was, " you should have ordered something softer". I had the chicken fried rice. It's hard to mess that up, but guess what. They did! I doubt it was fried, the carrots were still cold. The service was even worse. We saw our waitress twice, once to order and once when we got our food. We were never asked what we would like to drink, we just received one glass of tea and one glass of tap water. Good luck if you need something else to go with the tasteless food, because chances are you won't get it.

Great food. Nice people. A bit on the spicy side if you like spicy. Been here multiple times. To go is also good

This place is very nice and clean. The food is very good compared to other Korean food I've had. The clientele were all Korean and the waitress didn't speak English. The service was the worst I have experienced in a long time but the food was spicy and it didn't take very long to arrive. I attribute the poor service to me being a 6'4" tall gringo with a red beard. I would go back anytime. Sometimes it's nice just to be left alone.

I'm half Korean and was raised on Korean food. The food was decent, fresh and prepared in a timely fashion. After about 10 minutes, it was obvious that they cater to the local Koreans working here. I have been to several countries during my 23 years in the military, and traditionally Americans are used to "service". When we needed something, I merely called for the waitress and they promptly took care of us. The service was not what we are used to in the US, but it's status quo oversees. If.. This place wants more business and repeat "American" customers they have to modify their customer service model!

The worst Korean restaurant I had ever been to. The waitresses are VERY UNFRIENDLY with bad attitude. They don't speak or understand English very well, but they are arrogant. I ordered something, but they gave me another one without asking. No smile, no positive attitude, I won't be there another time.

This is a pretty place with small curtained private rooms for parties of 6+ and sectioned off private tables for parties of 2+. Our meal got rolled in on a cart and was accompanied with 8 small complimentary side dishes (kim chee, eggplant, bean sprouts, radish, white rice, mushrooms, etc). We had pork dumpling appetizer, followed by a tangy beef and rice dish and a cold noodle dish (can't remember the Korean names for them.) Portions were huge and our entire bill came to $34. Server was very polite and helpful although English is definitely a struggle for all the help here. We were the only Anglos as the rest of the patrons were all Asians. This is a fun dining experience.

I went here with my sister and her friend for dinner and it was pretty good. We love Korean food so we decided to check this place out. I ordered the Bibimbop with no beef. It was good and comparable to Bibimbop from other Korean restaurants. My sister ordered the spicy squid and she said it was really good ( the veggies in the dish included green peppers, onions, and carrots). My sister's friend ordered the bulgogi and really liked it. The side dishes were rather lacking. The kimchi and spicy cucumbers were good but the other sides weren't nearly as good as other Korean restaurants we have been to. This restaurant has fountain drinks which is nice because some restaurants like this serve cans of soda. The service here was not terrible but not great. I had to ask for refills of water every time but that isn't enough to say the service was bad. The waitress was nice and our food was hot when they brought it out. All in all this restaurant is pretty good but I gave it three stars because the side dishes weren't that great.

Great Korean restaurant. The service is friendly. But, it still not better than Orange Korean restaurant used to be on ATL HWY.

Thank goodness for Yelp. I wouldn't have found this little gem otherwise. It is a little off the main road and it's located in a strip mall but once inside, you can smell the food. DELICIOUS! Also all the people eating inside are Asian (a good sign). The decor is not showy with alot of decorations but don't let that deter you from entering. The service is fast and friendly. I don't know if it is family-owned but it felt like it. She helped me order. I highly recommend the bulgogi and any of the soups and stews. The side dishes were pretty amazing too! GREAT PLACE!! HIghly recommend. Wish they were in Chicago where I live.

Woohoo for this place! There are 3 Korean places in Montgomery that I am aware of and this one is superior by far! I love the spicy squid! The food is perfection and the owner & wait staff are great!

It's hard to notice this restaurant, since its pretty set back from Vaughn Road. I only found this place because of my Korean classmate from AUM. Since he was born and raised in Korea, I asked him which Montgomery Korean restaurant is his favorite, and he responded with Korean Garden. The decor of this place is... let's say lacking. This is not the kind of place you want to take a girl to on a first date. However, the service is friendly and the food is good. I love the complimentary little dishes. Feel free to ask for more of your favorites, the waitress will keep it coming. I came here for lunch with my family. I got the bibimbop, which is comparable to what I've had in New York's Ktown. My mother-in-law got soondobu (spicy tofu soup) which comes spicier and bigger than the other Korean restaurants around. My husband got bulgogi (marinaded slices of beef sauteed with onions). He said that it was tasty but a bit small in proportions, but he was full anyways from the unlimited side dishes.

I thought it was going to be a bad decision to eat here and that we might end up walking out. We waited about 10 minutes to order, my Diet Coke was flat, and David's beer was bottled in 2009. Then, the table that arrived after us got plates of panchan while we still had none. Then our luck turned. David's beer was replaced, and the panchan, along with our orders, arrived all together. The peanuts, pickled daikon, and kimchee were great. And they made my tofu stew without any meat or seafood, as I requested. David had beef bibimbap and really liked it. The service is friendly, but they could use more of it. The place filled up, and the waitresses were running around trying to get the food out. That's no good. But the food was wonderful. Check this place out.
