The restaurant is super small... Claustrophobic small and narrow. Not a big deal because the customer service was phenomenal. There were enough smiles and politeness to make this place seem the best. They even gave my nephew and little toddler with us a mini red velvet cupcake! My sister ordered a club sandwich, and was in love. She was quiet for once in her life :-) my baby sister had chicken tenders, adored them. since I don't eat meat, I had a grilled cheese sandwich. It was insanely good, cheesy,and buttery. I was in love! The food was great, customer service was awesome, but the prices threw up for a loop. Three adult meals, two kids meal, and a cup of ice was less than $25. We seriously thought the lady was giving us a discount until we added up everything. If you are in Montgomery, Alabama and need the perfect example of Southern hospitality then you MUST visit here.

For starters, when I place a call in order, the burger is NEVER right. Not sure if it's the person taking the order or the cook receiving it but, never right. I continue to give them the benefit of the doubt and they, still, get it wrong. My brother and I went there, today, for spaghetti and the "server" took our drink orders but, could not take our meal order. She said someone, else, had to do it and this person was waiting on 15 people to pay their bills. I only get an hour for lunch so after about 15/20 minutes of no one taking my order, I sat up at the bar and the RUDE server told me I would have to wait as they only have so many people. She was SUPER rude so, I told her they need to get more people and she evil eyed me so I stared her down until she looked away. I, then, told my brother we were not going to eat there and paid the almost 5.00 for our ice tea and coke. I'm only giving this restaurant one star because there is no option for a 0 star. VERY, VERY disappointed in the LACK OF SERVICE and the MORE THAN ABUNDANT ATTITUDE. I DON'T PAY FOR ATTITUDE!! El Paso Grill, needs to get it together.

This place is awesome. A hole in the wall diner vibe. We sampled lots of different things but the best was the grilled cheese with chili. Very clean and super friendly.

Best Club Sandwich in town!!! This is a hole in the wall place in a small strip mall the food is always fresh and cooked to order.

Ahh yes, this is the place for homemade chili! This small place is tough to find using google maps, so be on the lookout for the lagoon park strip mall on the left (driving northbound, green roofed). Nothing fancy inside, and not fast-paced. Hours are limited from lunch to early afternoon (11-2). However, the food is delicious! Their burgers are hand-prepared using quality beef, and are definitely delicious. Their signature chili has the right amounts of tomato, beef, and beans. Their chili has the right amount of spiciness to where it's not too hot, so you timid chili-eaters may find this right up your alley. More aggressive diners can ask for some jalapenos and onions to bring out the chili's hidden kick. Alabama football fans: they'll love you here! Aubie fans: don't stress, they will serve you too! TV in the corner is frequently tuned to the games, so this may be your new Sat. afternoon hangout! Military Discount Limited seating (booths for 4-6; counter service)

This narrow restaurant has around 10 tables total, plus a few seats at the counter, and they fill up fast with quite a line on weekday lunch hours. Service is slow with only two employees for the lunch crowd, especially with one limited to cash register duty. Their signature chili contains chunks of steak, a nice surprise, but was too hot for our northern palates to digest. The spaghetti special's main flavor was oil, but the lemon bundt cake was great. They offer a 10% military discount with ID.
