This place has a homey atmosphere which goes well with the southern comfort food they serve. The food is standard southern fare. Their lunch specials are a great deal! The corn bread they serve with most of their specials was delicious. I also enjoyed their creamed corn. It gets a bit crowded for lunch.

Service was very poor, took forever for them to do anything. I could understand if they were slammed but they were not even half full. Once we got the food, it was poor at best. When we confronted the manager over a billing question and to tell him of our experience, he got an attitude. Overall it was a miserable experience and would suggest it to no one. The only reason they are even getting a star is because I cannot give them zero. And just for an update now that I am home, all 3 people in our party who had an entree with shrimp are suffering from upset stomachs.

Co-workers and I eat here at least once a week. They have daily meat & three specials, huge salads, and a very good burger. The fries are crispy and well seasoned, a perfect compliment to the burger (my personal favorite). The restaurant is on the noisy side, but I enjoy that atmosphere. The service is excellent, the wait staff is very friendly, outgoing, and keeps your drink glass full! Highly recommend.

Cute atmosphere. There was a 2 person band playing. There is an outside area with fire pits. Our waiter was friendly, but would disappear on us. He brought our food and disappeared. I needed extra mayo and ketchup...located them myself. We got 3 drinks, 1 appetizer and a meal to split. The bill was $32. The drinks were average. The appetizer was FANTASTIC!!!! We got the shrimp & brushetta flatbread. It was small only 4 pieces. We split the fried green tomato BLT. It was BLAND! The tomatoes were tasteless, there was ZERO tart to the bite! The fries were average. Just not my favorite.......

Had dinner there and the fish was excellent. The server was very friendly, but had a few to many tables to be as attentive as necessary. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. I have had several items off of their menu and have never been disappointed.

Our food was good and our waiter was attentive. I ordered the blackened tilapia that was cooked really well ( I like blackened tilapia a tad crunchy on the edges). My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy and he said it was very good. Our food was served with bread and garlic butter spread. We also ordered the turtle cheesecake which was good. The piece of cheesecake was very small but it was so rich that we couldn't have eaten anymore of it even if we wanted to. Overall, the food and service was good. We want to come back when there is live music. Also, they offer drink specials.

Eastside Grille is easy to get to from where I work so many of us go there frequently for lunch. The lunch menu is your typical meat and three vegetables type which is done very well. Additionally, Eastside Grille has many daily soups and daily quiche specials which provide a change from the normal routine. On the couple of occasions I have been to Eastside Grille for dinner, everything has been about the same basic wholesome quality. When it is warmer, bands usually play on the porch outside, but I've found the bar staff to be slow for getting me drink refills at those times. The resturaunt also can get really loud when it fills up with its concrete floors and steel ceilings.

The food is pretty good. We've had hit or miss service and had to wait a while when they were not particularly busy. They usually have a band outside on the weekends during the spring, summer, and fall months and during the winter they have one on Friday nights inside. They have great drink specials most nights of the week.

The clam chowder, when they have it, is phenomenal: loaded with meat, creamy goodness and a just right spicy flavor. I say when they have it because the owner makes it from scratch and has to get up very early in the morning to start the three hour process. The complimentary fresh baked sour dough bread served with herb butter is also phenomenal. Went at lunch with three others from my office and everybody's meal was fantastic. The owners put a lot of effort and care into making sure everything is done right. Highly recommended.

Southern style food. Authentic home cooked food. This is truly a local place with many regulars. Service is good. Daily lunch specials; meat-and-three is $8.95. Other offers are pizza, salads and sandwiches.
