I had Pesto Turkey and white mocha. They were delicious. I liked sitting at the couch near the window. The atmosphere of the place was very cozy and great place to enjoy the coffee while having conversation with friends.

Thank you, Yelp! Really, thank you so much! I was driving from Oxford, MS to Montgomery to see a friend and had a couple of hours to kill. I had a lot of work to do, so used Yelp to find coffee shops. Found Café Louisa and man, was I happy that I did. This is an excellent, well-organized and exceedingly friendly coffee place that also sells gelato, sandwiches, frozen drinks, etc. I had some amazing mint chocolate chip "drink" that I needed a spoon to eat. I nestled in the corner in the comfortable leather "sofa" bench, got on to WiFi and had a great hour. Didn't realize there was a college nearby, but those are some lucky bastards to have a gem like this in their midst.

This is the second time I have been here in a week. I haven't tried any of the food yet but the coffee drinks are good. First I had a salted caramel latte and then a toasted marshmallow latte, both were MUCH better than commercial drinks. I can't have dairy and try to stay away from too many soy products but many coffee places only carry soy milk (looking at you Starbucks). Cafe Louisa has soy and almond milk! My young daughters love the ice cream and cookies. My husband likes his coffee black and says the coffee here is great. It's a cute cafe, trendy but with a relaxing atmosphere. We will be regulars!

For hipster coffee shops, two things are essential that Café Louisa fails at. (1) Natural, in-house-made sauces and syrups. (2) WiFi. I visited Café Louisa and there were no one in there despite the close proximity to both Alabama State University and Huntington College. I believe they will have many more customers by providing free Wi-Fi. The Barista simply stated that it was a management decision. On the up-side, I ordered some of the most delicious in-house made ice cream I have ever had. I ordered the salted-caramel ice cream and it was superb. It had the perfect combination of soft, fresh creamy ice cream with a salted-caramel sauce. I typically love counter-culture coffee but the latte I had had bitter edge of a dark, heavy roast. Some people prefer that, I prefer a higher grade light roasted bean so I will not vault that. While the lack of Wifi is disappointing, I highly recommend Cafe Louisa and look forward to my next visit.

(This is not exactly a fair review because it seems the A/C was broken which made the whole experience less than pleasant.) We were looking for a place to eat a little dinner and this place had decent reviews and was in our price range. They were listed as a sandwich shop so I didn't expect anything more. My sandwich (Turkey Reuben) was not BAD but was not especially impressive, either. Most of the positive reviews were about their desserts and those did not disappoint. Seating was limited- probably a great place for coffee and dessert for two, but not conducive to dinner with visiting family.

Great for vegetarians, which I was 3 years ago when I first happened upon this little restaurant. I returned a meat eater this past week and ended up getting the portable mushroom reuben any way. :-) Great flavor, perfectly toasted bread and taste just like a normal reuben. If you like mushrooms you'll like this sandwich. I finished it off with mint chocolate chip gelato. I enjoyed my experience, but wasn't impressed by the menu offerings vs price. The staff were friendly, but not necessarily on the ball the entire time. If you're looking for a place to chill with friends and are not in a particular hurry this is it, but if you need a quick eat or wifi to do work this isn't it.

Love this coffee spot. Should have brought a book to read but picked up a newspaper that was left to share. Special soup of the day was delicious and the cup was a generous portion. Sausage, tomato, artichoke with two pieces of a yummy bread. The chocolate chip cookies were good. The mint chocolate chip cookies were even better! A bunch of people were sitting outside eating ice cream cones too. Might be gelato, not sure. Will have to try some next time to be sure.

Superb. Extensive menu. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Generous portions. Very comfortable, low-key atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

Forget Tomatino's and Louisa's Bakery - Cafe Louisa is the best expression of Missy Mercer's little Cloverdale empire, not only because it highlights her giant scones and muffins, but because they respect the coffee. I knew it from the first time I walked in and saw that their iced coffee was cold brewed, not just hot coffee poured over ice. Further observations, such as their use of Atlanta's Counter Culture coffee, to the discussions I had with them about the best grind to use for different brewing methods, reiterated this focus on quality. Not to mention it's one of maybe two coffeeshops in the city where I can sit down and read a book for a couple hours, or get together with some friends for a leisurely talk. Also, they have gelato.

Favorite part about this place is the atmosphere...oh and the coffee is really good! It's very inviting. I felt like I was in a trendy, green-friendly cafe in San Diego. :) Lots of hipster types around so you can be yourself! If you just need a quiet spot for some coffee or if you want to have a good convo with a buddy. They did have a little problem with the computer cash register, it wasn't working properly, but the folks behind us were laid back and it wasn't a biggie. I would've been panicky in a less friendly environment. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Good food, good prices! Had delicious fresh mozzarella panini and cafe au lait. Took some baked goods with us. Just two miles off interstate -- you don't need to eat fast food while traveling! Stop here. Don't be discouraged --the drive begins a little ghetto but soon becomes nicer residential

The only place I will miss when I move out to the northwest. It's so nice having a coffee shop other than Starbucks in such a small city. Verrrry good gelato and pastries. Amazing chai

  • Jonathan C.

Great coffee, friendly service, comfortable seating, good vibe, but no Wi-Fi service and no vegan baked goods (both of which should be par for the course at a modern-day independent coffeehouse). If you don't need Wi-Fi, it's your best option in Montgomery. If you do need Wi-Fi, go elsewhere.

    (4)
  • Gina B.

Has good coffee & tea and a decent selection of bakery goods. The breakfast options are a bit limited and I feel they could have more hot items. But all-in-all if you want some coffee and a pastry, this is a cute place to go and decent quality.

I am frankly shocked at all the high rated reviews of this place and find it interesting the two bad reviews are hidden. To say the service is slow is an understatement. From waiting in line (only two people were in front of us) to the time we got our order (a house coffee, latte, bagel and biscuit) was a little over 20 minutes! Ridiculous! The house coffee was light and tasted weak. The latte had no flavor and tasted so watered down I ended up throwing most of it out. The set up of the place is super cute and I love the decor and feel. I will also say the cheese and sausage biscuit was delicious, but not so delicious it was worth a twenty minute wait.

I am visiting montgomery for several months and this place is a godsend! A nice quiet place to study and their coffee is amazing! They also have a huge variety of sandwiches and other snacks. There service is not fast, so don't expect to be in and out like Starbucks, but the baristas are friendly and the coffee is worth the wait! I will keep coming here as long as I'm in montgomery! Also, the pizza place next door is delightful as well!!

Let me preface my review by saying this is only one of 2 independent coffee shops I could find in the Montgomery area. I refuse to go to the "Bucks" and tried both of these indy coffee houses and Cafe Louisa is, by far, the best. From location to decor to menu selection and friendly college vibe (I'm not a student and I'm 43 but I love that unique, funky vibe) this place wins hands down. I'm a big fan of Counter Culture coffees (which is arguably one of the best roasters in the U.S.) and really enjoyed the soy latte they served. I also tried the Portobello Panini and Marinated Tofu Sandwich (it's had to find dedicated vegan and vegetarian food in Montgomery!!). I highly recommend the Panini. My mom and husband also enjoyed their sandwiches. My only complaint is that during my second visit they had run out of soy milk which was a total bummer. Keep that soy stocked!!! Oh...and yes, be prepared to wait a while if you order food...if you know that ahead of time you'll be able to get over it.

Chai is not good-WAY too much honey (and I actually love honey). Chicken salad was ok, pretty dry. And they forgot half our order (but didn't forget to charge us for it). $25 for two coffees and two sandwiches. Not impressed

Stopped here for coffee, and grabbed a muffin. It was moist & delicious! I wish I lived next door as I would be here everyday!

Adorable, cute, eclectic, hipster, trendy kinda place! Can't believe I have not been here before today! I got a half caf breve iced latte & my coffee date got a salty caramel gelato in a waffle cone. We were both VERY pleased! The place has eclectic decor with mismatched chairs and art on the walls. The staff was friendly. There is indoor & sidewalk seating. They offer scones, muffins, cheesecake, cookies, sandwiches & more! A must try in the Cloverdale area!

The salted brownies are amazing! Coffee is great and the location is also awesome. I'll be coming back here again and again.

This is a 100% local coffee shop done right! The staff is super friendly, great variety of coffee, espresso-based beverages, smoothies, gelato, and other desserts. I stopped twice during a 2 month visit to Montgomery (wish I had found Cafe Louisa sooner). The first time I got a chai latte which was done perfectly, and a delicious pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. The second time I got a chai bella gelato smoothie and a slice of mocha chip cheesecake. I have not been disappointed at all and wish I had a go-to place like this in my hometown!

Five stars for the coffee, service, and space. I have had a lot of horrible coffee since i moved here, so it was a relief to find Louisa's. I've had plain espresso, Chai w/ a shot of espresso (iced and hot), and a few other espresso-based drinks. The staff is friendly & efficient. I have camped out there on a few occasions to work, and it is very comfortable & pleasant. Two stars for the sandwiches. The fillings are fine. The bread is not. Twice the bread was cold and stale-ish, as if it had been stored in a refrigerator for too long. The last time I went, I had them toast the bread, which provided some relief, but it was still just one step up from cardboard. It seems they share a kitchen with the pizza joint next door, so I'm not sure the difficulty they have in procuring (or making) decent bread. Overall four stars-- the service, quality of the coffee, and pleasant space make up for the subpar bread on the sandwiches. Great find in Montgomery.

I absolutely love the essence of this place, from the mismatched vintage furniture to the warm dim lighting. Other than the look and feel of this place, the friendly cashier makes me feel so welcomed while I patiently wait to order. I've only been here once but the mocha I ordered was potent. Thumbs up. With the array of baked goods spread across the bar counter, I could not resist and ordered a mint chocolate chip cookie. It made me nostalgic for a (girl scout) thin mint. The cookie was a perfect compliment to my mocha.

Enjoy a decent cup of joe while experiencing this little ecclectic area in Montgomery, AL. Good for smaller groups. Staff and environment is friendly. Public parking in front and within the neighborhood.

For 3 days in a row, I got an everything bagel with humus and tomato. Man, it was good! Sometimes it was sorta slow, but I hear things can be that way in the south.

There are not many choices in non-chain cafes in Montgomery but Cafe Louisa is a nice little hang-out place. Their coffee is pretty good and the atmosphere is kinda cozy. Good to take your laptop and surf the net while sipping on coffee or tea

The only place to get coffee in Montgomery. Also one of the few places in this city with living breathing human beings. A cafe that serves sandwiches, ice cream, and of course coffee and tea. Books, artwork, and music inside.

One Sunday night, while it was dreary and gloomy, did my eyes feast upon reviews of Cafe' Louisa and a revelation was taken; a new adventure shall I roam and mark my destination towards the lighted palace of culinary bliss. Okay, now for something less dramatic... I came here on Sunday night, which as most people know, nothing really goes on with any excitement in this town. The sidewalks roll up around sunset, so to speak. So, I didn't really assume much of anything. As I approached inside, the place was small, qualnt, a bit dark and trendy, which lends to the hipster-vibe I had been hearing about. Small tiny tables along the wall and a counter with hand-written menu items in multi-colored chalk on a chalkboard were off to their left and presented their wares. Perusing the menu, and after talking with the lone-staffer behind the counter, I opted for the bread pudding and a simple cappucino, taking a seat towards one of the smaller tables to pull out the handy-dandy kindle and grab a few paragraphs from a book I was interested in. Overall, looking around the place, it was small and inviting, keeping to the vibe of quaint and local. The bread pudding was good, not overwhelmingly good to where I was meeting up with Mom to slap her, but not bad in all respects. Cappucino was nice and hot ( and how could it not be? It was just made minutes ago...duh!) and flavorful for something simple. What impressed me most was the employee I talked to - nice and approachable, friendly and informative to whatever question I posed and seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was taken care of. Thanks for that! All in all, a nice fresh-start to a customer eager to sample the other goods on the menu. I will return.

I love this cafe. I've been here a few dozen times over the years and the staff may change but the quality of the staff and food is always high. The chocolate chip cookies are AMAZING. The brownies and blondies are also great. They make one of the best vanilla lattes in Montgomery. This is a wonderful space in a trendy neighborhood.

First place I stopped after landing in Montgomery. Glad I picked it. Quietly bustling little cafe hidden between a salon, a theater, and a gaggle of other eateries. Staff is friendly and knows their product well (a plus for out-of-towners). I had the turkey Reuben, a cookie, and the sausage biscuit. That's not as crazy as it sounds, this biscuit had bits of sausage mixed into the dough. Too bad my pup wasn't with me because she'd have lost her mind in ecstasy! I recommend this cafe. I'd definitely go back.

While traveling from Jackson, MS to Atlanta I decided to travel via Selma and Montgomery. I yelped for a vegan selection and Care Louisa came up as the first listing. Well, pretty much the only listing to be fair. However, its a good little joint. I had a portobello mushroom reuban that was pretty good. I left with a berry smoothie for the road that they made vegan for me. Overall, well worth a stop for the vegan traveler. This cafe would be very much at home were it found in Silverlake in Los Angeles. When you have had your fill of down home cooking and want to try something healthier or if you, like me, are a vegan and have been living on salads during your southern sojurn, then give cafe louisa a try. You will be as happy as I was to have found it. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stopped in on our drive from OK to FL. Great food and service. My husband and I both had the Italian Cuban panini. The sandwiches were delicious and big; we should have split! Loved the area too. We sat outside and enjoyed a great dinner!

  • Rachel P.

Came here for a sandwich on the long and boring drive between Atlanta and New Orleans. Given the positive reviews, I thought it would be a nice lunch spot. I had a smoked turkey and pesto wrap with sprouts and mozzarella. All the fillings were really good! But the stale thin bread killed it for me. If they'd used some nice sourdough or a roll or something, it would have been a really different experience. Might be back to order a panini on a future ATL to NOLA trip.

  • Penelope B.

Cafe Louisa is a nice spot with dim lighting, allergy-unfriendly baked goods and snacks, and actually pretty decent tea. The decor is lovely, the staff are friendly, and it's a great place to sit around. The low lighting is a big issue in what's otherwise quite a pleasant atmosphere.

    (3)
  • Shelby B.

Friendly service and great sandwiches and sweets. Their coffee lacks the extreme bitterness and earthy taste of many craft coffees and is cheaper than most at only $1.75. My favorite sandwich is the italian panini-$8.50 and plenty to fill you up. Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and blackberry granola bars are really great. $5 minimum on cards though

  • Rachael T.

Driving to ATL and we discovered this neat little place. So glad we didn't stop at a chain restaurant instead. I wish I would've found it before we had coffee from Starbucks though so I could've tried theirs. My boyfriend and I both ordered sandwiches and a few different desserts. The cookies are the best I've had anywhere. Especially the espresso one! We'll be back!

I come to this place every time I want to treat myself for breakfast. I've always been pleasantly surprised by their food. I've had a couple of sandwiches here and they have always been delicious and fairly healthy (love the sprouts!). Their coffee is also very delicious and is a really good pick me up. And one day I WILL try their gelato. But honestly, this review isn't about any of those things, because what keeps me coming back here is the fact that this is the only place in Montgomery where I have been able to find: A SMOKED SALMON BAGEL. I thought that when I moved from New Jersey, my lox bagel eating days were over. I had resigned myself to living a life where I could only get my lox fix when going back and visiting my family. But then I found this place and rejoiced. I do want to make it clear that while their bagel game is better than what I've seen, it's NOTHING like the giant behemoths in Jersey or NYC. But they are pretty tasty! And I'll take what I can get. It's not too expensive either- 5 dollars, and considering they don't skimp on the smoked salmon I'd say it's a decent deal. I do wish that they put on more capers, though.

A nice small cafe in one of the best neighborhoods in Montgomery. I have never had a bad cup of coffee here. The workers are always very friendly and they take the time out to answer any questions I might have. The coffee, tea, cookies, and gelato are great. I am in love with the espresso cookies.

  • Chad B.

Nice place for a laid back lunch and coffee. Sandwiches are good but the baked goods are hands down some of the best around. I've had the hummus plate and the falafel sandwich; both of which I enjoyed. The hand pour coffee of the month is pricey at $5 but worth it. Great location in Cloverdale across from the Capri. Not many places in Montgomery that fill this niche; keeps me coming back.

Terrific desserts and service after dinner next door at their sister restaurant. We had gelato, cookies, and a bundt cake, and all were very good. Next time we come through, we will have to try the sandwiches.

Cute lil place we stopped by on our road trip. They have fresh focaccia bread that's baked everyday. We had the caprese and chicken salad plates. The food didn't come out super quick but I think that's because there was only the one cook. Despite that, we were presently surprised when our food came out. Prices aren't bad and they have an assortment of deserts or treats if that's what you're looking for. Definitely a spot we would probably come and check out if we lived closer, or even in the state for that fact.

Had the smoked salmon bagel. Fresh, wasn't fishy, capers were a perfect touch. Would definitely go back and have more.

If you're going to charge $3.00 for a muffin, please learn how to bake. The muffin I had was sticky on the outside, and dry on the inside. And had no flavor. Muffin+coffee=$5.00. No value. Skip it.

I have lived in Montgomery, Alabama for 26 years, and it wasn't until I came to visit my family that I fell in love with this place. I had A LOT of work to do, but I couldn't do work at mother's house because it was Christmas break. It was so hard to find a coffeehouse in Montgomery. Then, I remembered Cafe Louisa, which is next to the greatest pizza place EVER! I walked, and noticed that there was a cool, relaxing, hipster vibe to this. Was this really the Montgomery I knew?! Of course it is! I ordered a house coffee with soy milk and a vegan sandwich. I was in heaven! The protein in the sandwich was falafel and hummus. it was complimented with peppers and roma tomatoes, red onions, and lettuce. I didn't want the sprouts. It was perfect. For a solid two weeks, this was my place to visit. I got a lot of work done, and the customer service was A-1. I felt like I was around family. Now that I am on spring break, I am here doing work, and there the customer service is still amazing. To be honest, I am enjoying the college eye candy in here as well (don't judge me). This time I ordered the black bean soup. This has to be the best soup I've had. Well, it ALMOST as good as the one I make. In addition, I had a pimiento cheese sandwich on rye. Oh my goodness! This is one of the best cheese sandwiches I've had on this side of the Mason-Dixon line. I hate that I missed out on this place when I lived here. I have been in many coffeehouses on the East Coast and Mid- Atlantic, and this Deep South gem gives them a "run for their money".

Great coffee shop / bakery / sandwich shop all in one tiny shop. I have been here a handful of times and every time it has been really good. Their menu is a bit overwhelming to read, but once you figure it out, you will see they have a wide selection to choose from. Their coffee is very good, I would venture to say the best in Montgomery. And the neighborhood they are in is the perfect setting for this restaurant. They would be 5-stars with ease if they only had wifi so I could bring my computer with me to do some work.

  • Tara H.

The service was horrible and there were tons of flies in the restaurant. They got our order wrong. Food was pricey but pretty good.

Counter Culture coffee! And a perfectly grilled turkey Reuben on rye. What's not to like? Blueberry butter cookie gelato? Nope. I liked that too.

Such great food. They even have vegetarian options-- tofu sandwich is very yummy! I would give them five stars, but they don't have wifi. Otherwise cute cafe and nice people.

Sure enough one of the really good coffee/latte shops nationwide. Really good food items also, and ice cream also. We in today for some ice cream, pistachio, a lattee...that was it. Had just eaten lunch but needed to confirm our prior visit about a year ago. Sure enuff. Will return again next couple days to enjoy more latte drinks and perhaps a sandwich or ?

Walked in around noon on a Monday. There were only a few customers sitting down and no one at the counter. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I was excited to know this was going to be a efficent visit. The 1 guy behind the counter told me he'd be right with me...I must have waited there at least 3 minutes before he was ready to take my order, maybe longer. The ordering/paying process only took a minute, which made me happy, but it must have been a 10 minute wait to get my pannini. Again there were only a few customers in there. Not sure why it took so long to make a sandwhich and grill it for 1 minute. I also wasn't asked if I wanted to order a beverage. I probably would have just asked for a water, and thought about it once my sandwhich arrived, but I already invested enough time there...I just wanted to eat my sandwhich and leave. The sandwhich had a lot of flavor, though the bread quantity overwhelmed the meat/cheese quantity, so I felt like I was more eating a bread sandwhich. Also the bread was pretty tough, so I'm going to assume they toasted it a bit too long. Having that water to wash it down would have helped. I gave this place four stars, because I like it's Cloverdale location, the inside deli hipster atmosphere is appropiate, and the sandwhich did have a decent flavor. I would have preferred better, quicker service, and a less toasted (softer) bread. Pannini's aren't supposed to be grilled to the point that the bread resembles crutons...rather it's suppose to have a slight crunch to the skin of the bread. Anyway, for these reasons they didn't get 5 stars and barely even got 4 stars.

Better than I imagined. Quaint little shop. You'll miss it if you blink. Menu on the chalkboard. Walk right in. Order at the register then sit. You may get distracted by all the yummy pasties BUT DON'T DO IT! They are TOO yummy. Save yourself. I had a panini and it was -- oh wow!--Enjoy! Friendly service. I've already recommended them to all my friends.

This was a cute spot to have lunch. I love bagel and lox, and they make it simply perfect. The cookies are good, and the coffee blend is good. They mix their gelato into the coffee. We got the Andy Mint. It was delicious.

I do not eat dairy, so it is always exciting to see when a coffee shop offers the alternative of almond milk (instead of soy, which is not good for the body). I went there with my husband while we read our Bibles, and the atmosphere is hip but inviting. The sweet lady at the counter gave me good vibes of Southern pleasantry, with big smiles and tender care. I order the Iced Toddy with almond milk when I go, and it is a big bang for your buck! I took one star off, because the seating is not very comfortable--no cushions, very upright and hard.

  • Andrea N.

I love supporting local coffee shops! The service was not the friendliest but I can deal with that. I wanted an iced white chocolate coconut latte (I know, I'm complicated) and the cashier seemed annoyed by my request.. Turns out they were out of those flavors. He didn't offer any suggestions so I just went with a simple iced vanilla latte. I have been back since and will still go back despite my encounter with this man. What can I say, I love iced lattes! If you work at Cafe Louisa and you're reading this just remember, a smile and a friendly attitude goes a long way!

  • Lana B.

Great atmosphere and food. It was ridiculously hard to decide because I wanted to try it all! Ended up getting a delicious turkey sandwich with falafel sprouts. The memory of it can instantly activate my saliva glands. Of course I couldn't leave without getting sweets so I got a small gelato and brownie. Only negative was that the cash register was down and she couldn't ring me up, had to wait 30 minutes+. Probably works fine now and was just an unlucky day for me. Overall I definitely recommend this place.

So, I'm going to be "that guy" - the guy who writes a critical review of a business that the vast majority of reviewers think is the best thing since sliced cheese. Here is goes: Cafe Louisa is one of those places that tries very hard to capitalize on its cachet as as an "independent" and "locally-owned" establishment. Unfortunately, that kind of thing only goes so far in compensating for several shortcomings. Yes, they have a great food menu...but it seems that they are always out of the ingredients necessary to make most on the said menu. Yes, they have free WiFi...but half the times, it does not seem to work properly. Yes, they have funky decor that makes for a hip atmosphere...but another way of looking at it is that this place can be really dark and dank, with not quite enough seats. And yes, they have baked goods that a lot of people praise to the skies...but I'm waiting to be impressed with the quality of those baked goods. An awful lot of these vaunted items are wrapped in cellophane and taste as if they'd been purchased in bulk from Costco. I hate to dump on a place without saying anything positive, so let me hasten to add that their gelato is quite good. I can't vouch for their coffee, as I'm a tea drinker, but the black teas I've had here, especially Earl Grey and English Breakfast, were also great. In short, this is a place that I would dearly love to frequent, but I need a reason better than its "independently-owned" tag line. Until it improves, I will give my custom to a soulless corporate clone that is Starbucks. It might not have as much personality, it might lack Louisa's hip factor, it may be mediocre, but at least its consistent. And the WiFi works.

I should have listened to the reviewers. I had the tofu sandwich. Everything in the sandwich was delicious, but the bread was not. I couldn't get past it. Service was ok. Also, no wifi.

This place is a God-send. I'm not even kidding. It's within a 4 block walk from family that my husband and I stay with whenever we're in town. So we become fairly frequent customers over a 3 or 4 day span. Had the best French Roast I've ever tasted in my life. Counter Culture Coffee is good stuff, and they treat it right. Love all of their pastries. Love their lattes. Love that the baristas know what they're doing. Love their decor (except for a few really ugly paintings... I can deal with it). Love Cafe Louisa!

This is a lovely café near old cloverdale. There is good strong coffee and baked goods but I had expected a little more. It's a cool environment, one you'd expect of the typical coffeehouse, but it's pretty poorly lit and there's no wifi. The tables and chairs are small and wobbly. This is not the best environment for working or studying for these reasons. The staff is friendly enough though. I might stop by if I was in the neighborhood and in the mood for coffee and a slice of cake, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
