So, just to start off I LOVE chipotle. Fresh ingredients, good meats, and good flavor. I have been eating at Chipotle for many years (as I just recently moved here from Houston). This location is super clean, quick, accepted a coupon I had no problem, and was even clean behind the line. Granted I did go just an hour after opening, everything was super clean inside. Ingredients taste consistent each time (in my opinion). I believe their items have much more flavor than Moe's right down the road. From time to time it seems that they seem to skimp on certain items, like sometimes they give you a decent amount of rice and others they barely put any in there. I have noticed this inconsistency in many Chipotle locations however. Some workers take big spoonfuls of the food, and others just barely fill it up. So that's really my only complaint. Chips were a little salty for my liking as well, but fresh. Will continue to visit this location. Good food overall!

I love Chipolte's food and it is my 'go-to' fast casual restaurant. That being said this location leaves a lot to be desired. I like to use the Chipolte app to order from my phone so I can bypass the line. It works fine at every other location, I show up and pick up the bag. At this location time I try to pick up an online order the cashier looks at me like I have two heads then I show them my confirmation email and I watch as my burrito is made while the other customers think I'm cutting in front of them. This location is also out of unsweetened iced tea more often than not. To summarize: Love chipolte but this the worst run location I frequent.

A great burrito without all the grease! Why I love coming to Chipotle is because I feel that although I'm stuffing myself with a super sized burrito, I'm doing it in a much healthier way than I would at many of the other quasi-Mexican establishments. The basic rule Chipotle seems to have grasped and mastered, is that the flavor shines through the food prepared in its simplicity. Each component of the burrito is kept separate until brought together to create a mariachi symphony of flavor. Everything tastes fresh and amazing! I'll keep coming back to Chipotle as long as I'm in the mood for a great burrito. There are so many choices and combinations to enjoy that I'm certain to be experimenting with fresh flavor in the coming year!

If you come here and the line seems too long to wait, have patience. They move pretty fast and the food is worth it. I first came here because I had heard the company supports sustainable farming and quality ingredients, but I stayed for the delicious cilantro lime rice. This is a great choice for vegetarians dining with carnivores because they have legit tasty veggie options. I got the sofritos, which is well seasoned shredded tofu and wow, it was good.

I have heard all the hype about the new Chiptole location in Mobile, Al. So my wife and I decided to try it. Upon walking in, I was impressed with the California type "decor". The stereo speakers built into the wall was a cool idea but somebody had already stuck their finger in one speaker cone putting a big dent in it. Once I studied the menu, I quickly realized that it was pretty basic! You get four choices a burritto, tacos, bowl, or salad along with steak, chicken, carnitas, or shredded beef. And only about 6 or so toppings of your choice. Chips cost extra and so does a side of guacamole which costs about $4 extra!!!! They also served some beer and margaritas. Honestly I wasn't impressed with the service, the staff acted like they didn't want to be at work. They were rude and seemed inexperienced. As for the food I would give it 2.5 stars... Nothing to write home about. Our 2 person dinner cost $26 for 2 burritos, chips, guacamole, bottled water and a fountain drink. I'll keep going to Moe's Southwest Grill when I want this type of meal!

The low grade is for quality of service. One of the servers got ver and visibly irritated when I began to give here my condiments in Spanish. I used to giving my order in Spanish especially being from Texas. The manager gave this snugged look when I told him about the situation. He didn't care either!

I love chipotle. Like LOVE, LOVE it! But everytime I go to this one I have a bad experience whether the food isn't all the way cooked, or overcooked, or rude service or just a messy place in general it is never really any good. I don't plan on returning, I have gone back about 5 times since the first bad experience of finding hair in my food, and it isn't improving, too bad because I miss chipotle (the real ones) and was so excited when I heard this one was opening.

Generally I love Chipotle and the quick atmosphere... this location is terrible... There was an adequate amount of staff, but they are rude and slow. The food was as expected.. After sitting down to enjoy my lunch, I noticed I was charged for a soda after asking for a water cup multiple times.. Super unfortunate that this location couldn't preform the easiest of tasks. I will not be returning to this location. Sorry chipotle, not on par here.

This is a pretty ok restaurant. You can get you a burrito. You can get you some tacos. Don't nobody care. I got me a thing called a burrito bowl with chicken that is like a bread bowl you get at Pantera bread company except it's a burrito instead of soup. And a cokecola. It was pretty good except the bowl part didnt taste so good and was kind of hard to eat. I think because they cooked it too long. I was real hungry though so I still ate it. I dont feel too good now that it is over.

I love going to chipotle but there is only one in my area sometimes the quality of the food is a tad bit disappointing on the better days the food quality is great I don't like dining in because it usually is dirty and no one attempts to clean it up.

Chipotle continues to impress and amaze me with their food, simple as it is. Your choices are looking limited compared to the McDonald's of the world, but everything is such high quality and taste! I came to this location 7 times in the first 8 days because of how much I love this restaurant, and I have had great experiences. Every once in a while their mild salsa will come up bland, but it's rare enough for this place to still easily get 5 stars!

When it first opened it was always packed, but the servers were super friendly, the portions were larger, and over all just a better experience. Recently I went in and ordered two burritos, and drinks. The staff seemed less concerned with my order and more interested in talking among themselves. With the first one, the chicken was burnt, but not too badly... With the second one, it was just so small I wasn't sure if I had asked for it to be less. The amount of chips were just sad, and over all I was pretty disappointed. Honestly, if you wanted to eat there, I'd suggest going to another well known business that will offer the same thing but at lest they are friendly.

Must I just say first, as my first experience going I would NOT base it on the chips, they we're HEINOUS. The trip itself to this location is a bit hectic but I figured it out, the food however wasn't fresh and the team was quite rude, the only nice person was the guy working the front of the line, the next two and cashier were not friendly or very involved in they're job, again my chips were inedible, the food needed to be spruced up but was otherwise edible, the eating area (the drink area) was sparse but they seemed busy so I'll excuse that, overall I think the food was passable, I wouldn't return to this location though.

I have been to a few Chipotle restaurants and this experience was subpar. The service was not so great and the food was not like what I've had before. I know this is a fairly new place and they are trying to work out some kinks, so I'll give them another chance in a month or two.

I think Chipotle got the message that they've been kinda stingy. They've gotten a lot better about portion size. Thank you!

Our first visit to Chipotle went pretty well. On the plus side was the food (amount and taste), service was good and price was acceptable. Minus side has to include table arrangement and trash disposal. Tables are so close together that it is hard to get by without bumping into someone. Only one waste can was available and was overflowing. We will definitely return if for no other reason is the food. Had the bowl on our first visit, but have got to try the tacos and burritos.

Subpar and disappointing. The bathrooms were disgusting. The first bag of chips were so greasy they just bent in half when I bit them. The second bag was just as bad. The cashier walked away from the register to collect and pay for the pizza she ordered. All in all, it's not worth the trip and we will be finding somewhere else to eat next time.

i was really looking forward to going to this Chipotle location, having been to ones in SoFla and Denver & this was by far the worse one... the burrito, or rather i should call it a "wrap" was HALF the size as other Chipotle burrito's and the "not sweet tea" was SWEET! salad's are usually so packed that i have to take the rest to-go & if anyone working there actually smiled... well no one seemed happy to be there. i'll go to Moe's next time... sad!

This was my first visit to the new Mobile location, and I picked up a carnitas salad to go. The salad was good and the service was quick and friendly. I've always thought Chipotle's food was about average, and this experience was about that. However, I do appreciate their commitment to organic and sustainable ingredients and feel this sets them apart from their competitors (and makes it worth a little extra). The dining room is my biggest complaint. It's very loud and uncomfortable in my opinion. I would recommend picking up or dining at one of their outdoor tables on a nice day.

First time in here for lunch , the food was OK ,the facility is nice except the speaker's wall. They try to make things fancy out of cheap a$$ plywood and Walt Mar speakers. $11 bucks for lunch &drink I think is high for fast food but will come back some time.

First off, I'm no stranger to Chipotle. Our love runs deep. I love Chipotle because their flavors and portions are ALWAYS consistent no matter which one you go to. So why did they earn only three stars here? Let me explain. I've been around the burrito world and there's one..maybe two things...that can ruin a great burrito. In this case it was the roll. My burrito was poorly rolled. Looser than the change in your pocket. Every bite was a fight to keep the thing together. The girl who rolled it looked like she didn't care. Not even a smile. Such a shame. I would of been better off with a bowl and the wrap on the side. As a matter of fact, the ONLY friendly person there was the guy warming up the wraps and dishin' out the rice, beans, and meat. The cashier was also pushy. Definitely killed the Chipotle mood. Pretty exciting to find a Chipotle somewhat close to home...sadly, the place I love also turned out to be the place that disappointed me today.

Food is not good. It is a very uninviting atmosphere. Although I love Chipotles in other locations, this one is depressing. I won't go there again.

Yay!! It's finally open! I have been waiting for this for a long time. I love Chipotle and have eaten at different ones throughout the country. I have high hopes for this one, but there are a few things they are struggling with as they open their doors and serve that eternally long line of customers. So first, the bad: Portion sizes. I think Chipotle's prices are fair, and normally the portion sizes are acceptable, even if sometimes you get a little more or less depending on location or worker. From what I understand, just by eating Chipotle a lot, is that a serving is just a normal scoop with the standard big spoon. OK. So at the new Mobile store, many times the worker will scrape a half-scoop out, shake a little off, then gingerly shake part of that onto your food. I have seen a version of that with almost every food item from rice to guac. Now that is stingy! Just scoop it normally, plop it on, and keep going! I am not asking for freebies, just the normal expected amount. Especially for guac, which is an extra $1.80, which I gladly pay. But not for a teaspoon-size serving. TIP: ask for guac on the side, and you get the full plastic cup filled. Speaking of the stingy-food-serving process, it takes too long. The worker should not be considering amounts as they serve each item. Scoop, and pass it. The line is long, and efficiency needs to increase, especially because most workers are still learning the ropes and things like wrapping a burrito take a little longer than normal. (Which is all totally fine and expected in a new store. I am ok with a learning curve. Just don't add to it by overanalyzing how much cheese you are sprinkling on each burrito.) Trash. Not a big deal, but as far as I could tell, there was only one trash can, and it fills quickly. It would be nice to have another one by the side door. Ice. I have been there three times (yes, I am slightly obsessed, they have only been open four days) and the ice ran out twice. Tables. It would be nice if they had more worker presence helping to keep up with the table wiping and trash in the dining room. Tip jar. It's a bit tacky, especially with such rookie service. THE GOOD. Delicious food. The end. Ok, Ok... I like to get the burrito bowl, and usually they give an extra half-scoop of rice, which is cool. Delicious rice, I wish I knew how to replicate it at home. Everything tastes delicious, you really can't go wrong. Unless you are picky and only like extremely bland food, in which case you should probably just stay home and eat boring chicken fingers or something. So just go there, walk down the line, and get everything that looks good to you. It will be good. It tastes like normal Chipotle, which is perfect. Parking is great, there is outside seating, and usually plenty of seats as long as people are willing to sit at the barstools. I really hope to come back and change my review to five stars. I think as this store gets into its groove, my list of "bad" will dwindle away...

Drove over an hour to try this place out only to be disappointed. This particular restaurant was very dirty and not maintained. All the tables were dirty and had a bunch of trash on the floor. The bathrooms were also very filthy. The food was okay but not what I expected from the hype of Chipotle. Personally, I think Moe's Southwest Grill has better food options and their customer service is also great.

Terrible Chipotle. How do they not have barbacoa two hours before closing? Do they just stop cooking despite their menu items? No barbacoa and none cooking...seriously? Oh and their portion of guac was very very menial. I'm paying extra so I expect a decent portion. I visit chipotle very regularly in California (traveling through for work). This is a bad representation. P.S. We had to restock the forks for them. Why can't they keep their items available? P.P.S. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. People had brought in napkins to use... This seriously has to be the worst Chipotle.

Dirty tables, a/c on the fritz, no forks, ice machine not working and a chipotle worker picking the veggies out by hand in my barbacoa bowl that I specifically said no too. You would think that such a successful chain would have a regional manager to fix a location that falls so short of the expectations that the parent company has worked to build

Great lunch place! Four of us were traveling and wanted a fast, but good lunch. I had the steak bowl over rice, dressed with black beans and guacamole. It was excellent! Very filling, very tasty and fast. The staff helped me order (first time ever in a Chipolte) and seemed to really want to serve me something great! The sweet tea was perfect served in a cool "educational" author series cup. Will eat at Chipolte again!

Average just average. Heard a lot about this place and the food was fresh but didn't have much taste to it. I can take it leave it.

Very happy Chipotle is establishing their footprint in the lower Southern States ... a 30 min drive is well worth it... Now their just needs to be a location on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, but on to the review ... Chipotle is pretty much the same across the board which is great, you know what to expect .. Good Food and its healthy this is why they will have me as a customer for a very long time ... I feel this location is still working out the kinks like running out of picante almost 2 hrs before closing and stating none will be made is totally ridiculous.. As friends have stated the meat option was a little bland but still good with the fresh toppings ...The line moved way to slow and it wasn't even long, 6 people in front and even more behind me.... The point here is Management needs to get on the ball, as a popular franchise well known across America they must know and expect long lines from the minute the door opens till the second it closes and be prepared with more servers and extra food available. Over all i left very satisfied... This location has only been open a month or so and I'm very confident the few tweaks needed to make this an outstanding location will be made.

First time dining at Chipotle and I have to say I'm rather disappointed. Beginning with the lack of menu choices I wasn't happy but I decided on a burrito with steak and the. Their toppings. The girl who finished my burrito looked like she was rolling her very first burrito ever and it promptly fell apart like it was. The flavors were good but the fact that they don't have cheese dip for the chips that you have to buy separately along with your beverage I feel Moe's Southwestern is better value.

I was impressed that this place was THAT GOOD. I had the Steak burrito with guacamole. Wasn't expecting for it to be good, was very good and refreshing! Other than the price I was happy. $12 for lunch seemed expensive to me

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
