We live down the road so we eat there pretty often and we love the food. The grill nachos with steak are a favorite. And the margaritas are amazing. They also do carry out which is very convenient

Just don't. Service was slow and badly executed. Salsa was bland. Carnitas were too salty to eat, and more of a shredded pork dish than true carnitas. The one star is just because it was food and we were starving.

The food was very reasonable (lunch menu) and plentiful.Taste was better than average. Waitress (Andrea) was one of the sweetest, prettiest, most courteous and caring I have seen in quite a while. She earned a 25 - 30% tip today. It is usually busy and I can see why. My wife and I had the number 1 lunch special. It had an enchilada, taco, beef and bean burrito, and bean tostado. It was very good as I was hungry and ate all of mine. Wife had about half of hers to go. I believe it was $5.75 for all that. We will be back for margarita special nights.

This place is janky as all get out. It really felt as though I was in a border town in Mexico because it was so poor/crappy. The "room" we ate in had an authentic Mexican window air conditioner. It felt as though I was eating in a trailer. I could forgive all of this if the food was actually decent, but it's not. It's really plain and just not very great. The only plus to this place is that it's cheap.

Had the Cozumel nachos. The plate was so big it was enough for me and my girlfriend. Not to mention it was delicious :) My daughter even said her child's quesadilla was good! :) on Saturdays they have 2 for 1 margaritas. Price was affordable. Although it's Saturday during lunch time it seemed it was pretty quiet. It's a hidden gem in loxley.

I was almost afraid to enter the building as I could see under the foundation from outside the door. After I passed through the 'sauna' dining room between the two front doors, I was wondering how much worse it could get. None of the booths are big enough for 4 people, but rather 1.5 on each side. Therefore our party of four was broken into two booths. I was never sure who our server was because our table was visited by every employee in the building aside from the kitchen staff. Teamwork is dream work, but consistency is key. The food was decent, but the salsa tasted like a can of tomato sauce with a hint of spice. Also, the televisions playing shows of people eating roaches and other vermin made it hard to eat the food that I did like. I was disappointed as I had passed this establishment many times and had always wanted to stop in. I'm glad I tried it so now that desire has left me to never return.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
