A local classic for breakfast & coffee , i'm not even sure how long this joint been here but it seems like forever . Friendly service with a smile and good chow .

The worst breakfast I've had in a long time. French toast was flavorless. Omelette looked white raising the question if there were eggs in it or was some type of watered down mix. Little flavor to the "egg mess." Bacon burnt. Grits were soup. Coffee had no flavor. Service was good and friendly. Too bad. Nice location downtown. Would give no stars if I could.

Cute little place. Pancakes and sausage were great, coffee was great, and restrooms were very clean. The workers very nice and hospitable.

Screaming toward the tourist trap beaches, many travelers will pass through the small, charming town of Foley where you will pass pretty little parks, antique stores, quirky boutique outposts and museums, bed and breakfasts...you get the picture. Sitting amidst this is this joint. It looks like a place full of flies with bad Waffle House style food. You can practically smell it in your mind before you even open the door. The enthusiastic tourist just knows this is all a clever ploy by the locals to keep this gem away from the beach crowds and will be drawn in by the shabbiness of it all. I was not in town to be a tourist, but I fell victim. It's a trap. The place smells, the food is cold and mediocre and the coffee is like drinking pesticide. The waitress was friendly. Enjoy!

Who doesn't need a good old fashioned coffee shop breakfast joint right around the door from their office? The service is so quick I can get in and out in 30 minutes. For some reason, I feel a little bit bad rating this place 3 stars, and I want to clarify that it isn't because I don't like it. I really do like it, and I think if you are in the area for a quick breakfast (and you aren't looking for a culinary revolution) then this is an a-ok place to come to. Food: The German sausage is really good and I would strongly suggest that over any other sausage they have to offer. The pancakes are a good size The omelet I got was full of veggies I guess I wish that they used butter and gave butter to you to put on your pancakes/toast. I hate spread. I think they cook with that stuff too. I also wish they didn't give shelf stable creamer... and what seemed like velveta cheese on top of my omelet. The cheese was really really sticky. All of that said, look at the price of the ticket I posted. The food here is really cheap. I would be willing to pay a little more for a little better quality, but for what I paid, the quality is worth it, hence the 3 star review. I will be back!

I would like to update the Foley community on the Foley Coffee Shop; ate there yesterday and seems Woody the owner has made some much needed changes. The new cook is a sharp young man that took much pride in his craft. The best steak and eggs I have ever ate here. Servers where nice and friendly and smiling big. The woman that cashed me out even remembers me and asked where I have been. I told her I was thrown out because I complained to much and she now agreed with me that the change have been drastic and much needed. Great job Woody on the changes, can't wait to eat here again soon!
