Food was good, but was overpriced in my opinion. Barbecue sauce was my favorite thing. We've eaten there once. Would probably eat there again, but not going to be on the top of our list. Nothing special. Could get the same meal cheaper elsewhere.

I know this is a chain restaurant, but I love their ribs and sides. Great service...Sunday wait is long, of course, but a great place to eat

Delicious food, great service. High level of excellence is maintained even when servicing large group and catering.

The BBQ was perfect. The chow-chow sauce is a acquired taste . I would suggest getting the chow-chow sauce on the side your first time. To make sure you like it. The fries are huge stake fries. The loaded baked potato was gigantic . One loaded potato is a meal on its self. Their desserts are delicious. I recommend the key Lime pie . The atmosphere is like a Zaxbys and Sonny's BBQ mixed together. The food is just 10 times better.

We asked our hotel for a recommendation for a barbeque place, and they suggested the Full Moon. First, this is not a restaurant. It is a fast food counter, clean your own tables sort of place. This is not the sort of place I expect to pay $36 for two for dinner with nothing but water to drink. My husband ordered the ribs which were really terrible - dry, tough, with a really horrible after-taste. I tried them too, and had to agree. He just took them in a to-go box, then threw them out at the hotel. Yes, we should have said something, but he was tired and didn't want to deal with it. He did enjoy the huge baked potato, but it seemed weird that we had to pay extra to have that as one of the two included sides. I had the pulled pork which was pretty good, but was over-priced for what I got. I also paid extra for a baked potato (loaded) which was very big, delicious, even if served cold. I can't figure out the good reviews on this place. Yuck!

A little over priced. Meat was very dry. Good BBQ should not need sauce to eat it. Staff was very friendly.

Something for everyone here! This was my first time here. At first I was overwhelmed by the menu but settled on kids meal pork sandwiches for my children. I subbed corn on the cob out for their fries, and ordered a brisket on salad entree for me. The kids' sandwiches were substantial servings, and didn't look like they were just slapped together like kids' meals often do. They also came complete with a cookie and drink. The brisket on my salad was delicious and flavorful and the salad filled an entire dinner plate and had slices of cucumber and tomato too. The food was a welcome departure from the mediocre options in Dothan. The restaurant is clean and has a wide option of table choices (booths, rounds, and rectangles). You order your food at the counter, bring a placard to your table and the food is brought out to you. I haven't been happy with BBQ in this area, but Full Moon is doing it right! Don't forget to try the cookies! They are yummy too!

The food has always been excellent. But today we have had a problem. My mother and I ordered 2 sweet teas, cookies and a chocolate pie. We were told that they were decorating the top of the pie when we got to the window of the drive through. It should not take long right????? Twenty minutes later we are still waiting on the pie. I only hope that they had someone new to their job.

This place has the best BBQ in Dothan, AL! I ordered the Baker loaded potato, it was HUGE! The portions are really big here, I got a to go box. Sweet tea was really good, not to sweet, not to much tea. I shared carrot cake with my friends it was homemade, had great flavor and was super moist!

While the food was good it seemed way overpriced. I ordered a small pork BBQ sandwich that came to 5.09 for just the sandwich, no fries or drink. I got a sweet tea 1.79 that was traditional southern very sweet so I had to do half sweet/ half unsweetened. I usually do this but the previous review said it wasn't to sweet so I gave the full sweet version a chance. My husband ordered the large sandwich, not much bigger, about a quarter of a size bigger at 6.29. He wanted a small side of fries that was an extra 2.69. The total bill was 17.51, while not bad I feel like we didn't get our values worth since my husband and I either chose not to have a drink or not to have a side. The environment didn't give the southern BBQ vibe. Felt a little more like a family friendly sports bar without the alcohol. I prefer Dickies BBQ for vibe and food value.

Excellent ribs and pulled pork. Vinaigrette Coleslaw is outstanding. Salads lack the goodies that I'd like to see more of. But overall very good.

Very good BBQ, best in Dothan. Had the BBQ pork sandwich and added a side of baked beans. Husband had BBQ turkey plate with fries and mac n cheese. Mac n cheese is ok, not great. Fries are large steak fries. Baked beans were great. Pulled pork sandwich was awesome! I had it all the way with everything that comes on it. Very tasty.

Our family of 5 had a hankering for some good Alabama BBQ, FULL MOON fully delivered. Excellent bbq sauce and the chow chow gave it a nice kick. Very clean restaurant; fun sports theme made for a comfortable environment. Only negative was a few of the waitresses were missing that southern hospitality. Fair prices for the large serving sizes . Would defiantly visit again!

Ordered the pulled pork with squash casserole and collard greens. Also had baked potato with broccoli. The baked potato could have been cooked better by being cooked longer. The potato was harder than to my liking. The broccoli didnt seem fresh and tasted like frozen brocoli. The pulled pork was fine compared to any other place you can get it at that is average and the squash casserole was cheesy and it was ok. The collard greens were mushy and I didnt like that. The chow chow is novel but wouldn't recommend a whole side of it.

One of my favorite pasttimes is exploring BBQ places. I eat BBQ once a week. Full Moon is one of my top 3! It is outstanding BBQ! Ribs and Pork are really good but the Brisket is the best meat out of the 3. 2 BBQ sauces...a good tangy Ketchup base and a spicy white BBQ sauce. Potato salad, okra, and beans pair really well with the BBQ. Chow chow relish mixes well with the pulled pork. Slaw is on "Things to eat before you die in Alabama." I didnt like it because I don't like crunchy Cole slaw. But the vingarette put on the slaw is unique. Full Moon cookies are to die for!
