25.00 for a ribeye that tasted like ash or charcoal. Not good. I did tell waiter but he did not seam to care at all. So with 4 people it was $100.00 and not worth eating. So don't get the Outlaw ribeye.

Tried the new strip steak with grilled corn on the cob. Steak was done just right and corn was delicious.

Was there 6/20/14. Arrived around 6pm. Hostess said the wait would approx. 20 minutes so we went to the bar. 45 minutes later we were called. Due to our long wait we were given a free appetizer, had the fried green tomatoes (good). Ordered and waited on our steaks ONE HOUR. Finally We got up to leave, the manager came out with our food. Steak was OK, baked potato was stale. No charge but never going back. EDIT-I had been there before a couple of years ago and the service was fine, food was exceptional.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday, only four tables with customers when we arrived. Took way to long to receive our meal. My steak was good.

The service and food was absolutely horrible. We waited 15 minutes just for the waitress to come to the table. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer and went ahead and ordered the meal too since we could already tell service was going to be bad. We didn't receive anything to drink until after the meal arrived. We got the salad and steak at the same time. I've had better steaks at Waffle House. The steaks were cold. The appetizer didn't arrive until after we had eaten our meal and we were almost ready to go. We sat at the table for another 20 minutes waiting on our bill. Finally chased down a manager who took our payment. Our waitress never came back. The manager apologized and gave us 3 or 4 coupons to use the next time we came in. Since we decided to never eat here again,we left them on the table as we had no use for them. We will not be back. It was great when they first opened but has steadily gone downhill ever since.

When trying to consider whether the food or the service was worse, I'm at a loss. What we were served for lunch should not be classified as edible and while she largely neglected us, the server was by far the rudest we've ever encountered. There was no excuse for any of what we experienced because there were only three other tables dining at the time we were there. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment.

I have to update this: after my previous bad experience I decided to give them another try, their commercials are all about new, revamped menus, it was a Saturday afternoon and I was hungry. Walked in about 2:45pm, glanced around and saw a restaurant 2/3rd empty, as you'd expect at that time on a Saturday. Sweet, I knew I'd be served quickly, right? No. The person T the door kiosk said "15 minute wait." I said, "really?," glancing around at the clearly empty booths and tables. 40 minutes later I and most of the people who were waiting when I came in (two other couples) were still waiting. I watched customers leave, even MORE tables empty....nothing. I left and went to Logan's. Btw, Logan's was VERY busy, I got told a 5 minute wait, I waited maybe three minutes. I won't be returning to Longhorn. The bored teenager at the door responsible for seating people should be immediately fired.

After reading several of the other reviews, I have to ask myself if this is the same Longhorn that my family and I recently visited. The service was awful. The food was awful. We had a party of five on a Wednesday night. There is no reason it should have taken as long as it did to even get a drink order. Now to the salads. My husbands house salad was full of the hard, hearts of the lettuce. You know the part that is typically thrown away. My sons salad was full of brown wilted lettuce. The other couple in our group had Cesar salads and one salad was drowning in dressing and the other barely had a touch of it. We sat for at least 10 minutes with empty glasses, actually laughing about getting up to get the refill pitcher ourselves. The steak that I had was FULL of fat. I actually asked for more bread, just so that I could feel like I had eaten something. We finally got our check and paid and left as fast as we could with NO intentions of ever going back. The dinner was my treat for out of town guests and I was so embarrassed about this dining experience that I felt the need to apologize to my guests. My oldest son's comment said it all. "Thanks for dinner Mom, at least I didn't have to pay for that."

Great service. Great food. Cheap at lunch. Available truck parking next door at the BP. I'm a trucker so it's hard to find good food with truck parking. LOL. Have these back home but never tried it. Had to come to AL to finally go! The new orange ginger lemonade is yummy too.

Excellent service. Food was even better. Had a company dinner I ordered the crusted Parmesan chicken with creamy mac&cheese mixed veggies. I must say that Mac&cheese cheese is probably the best I've had in a while. The chicken was great as well. Ill def return

We went here twice recently. Ashley W. is the best waitress we had. We had her on the Saturday of Father's Day weekend. She rocked it! The portions for dinner are much better than lunch. So go for dinner, pay a dollar or two more, and get twice as much. It's worth it. The steaks are cooked to perfection and are wonderful. The chicken parm. is also a family favorite now. It's very rich and wonderful. The wheat bread they bring out is awesome and reheats easily at home later. As did the steak. My husband was amazed at how well my steak tasted when reheated a few days later! The chicken tenders are alright. Not my favorite. The fries would be better if they were fresh and not frozen. You get a much bigger serving of these if you get them at dinner time. At lunch you only get 5-6 tenders and half the fries that I saw on peoples' plates at night time. The salad dressings are good. The croutons and the salads themselves are good as well. We have had the caesar and the mixed green salads. The mixed green has petite diced cucumbers and tomatoes on it as well as cheese and croutons. The restaurant is new and very clean. My daughter loves the bathrooms! They are clean, as well. The staff is friendly. The only weird thing is that the kitchen is on the bar end of the restaurant. Resulting in the servers taking a lot longer to get you your food and drinks than normal. So keep that in mind. If it's going to be a holiday weekend or any weekend, I'd call ahead and get on the list. We only had a 25 minute wait, but people right after us had 40-60 minutes to wait. Overall, great for dinner. I'd go somewhere cheaper for lunch, like Panera Bread. They don't serve dinner until 4 pm. Later than most places who serve it starting at 3pm. Keep that in mind. That's how we found out the next time we came about the lunch portions. I was terribly disappointed and the server put my salad dressings on for me, which is why we gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.

When I say I've had better, it means I've had better at Longhorn. I don't think I've ever had to wait so long in my life for a simple glass of sangria. They were changing the tap for the beer my hubby ordered, but it still took 20 minutes for him to get that glass. The wait staff seemed discombobulated and confused as to who should be doing what. Our waitress was nice, but slooooooooooow...like she was on a 7 second delay. I ordered my steak medium well, which, she informed me, would "have just a little pink in the middle," (like I didn't know that) yet I received a piece of meat that was solid red on the inside. I didn't feel like complaining...mainly because I couldn't get her attention, so I ate it anyway. Overall, Longhorn as a chain is reasonably priced for a nice dinner out. I don't need wait staff that constantly fawns over me, but it was clear these were first time waitresses who didn't exactly know how to do everything. I'll give Longhorns more chances...just not this one.

People are nice and the restaurant is clean. Ordered a New York strip which was delicious. Even the sides were great too. Recommend a place to eat some cows. Also, since it was Mother's Day, they gave some mom a freshly cut flower. Thanks guys and keep up with the good work.

So we visited Longhorn a few weeks ago. I tried going through more "private" channels to discuss the horrible experience but we received no response. It took over 30 minutes to be seated (family of 4)- we could see empty tables. I assumed they were closing sections but when a larger party came in they out right asked and we're told it was open. When we finally got seated we didn't see our waitress for over 20 minutes. We asked to go ahead and place all our orders. All food our food came out cold, when we got up to ask for some ketchup for my daughter's french fries we watched the staff run. The waitress we asked rolled her eyes. (not our regular waitress, we hadn't seen her since she checked on us before our food arrived) When we spoke with a Manger she gave us a "sorry, I'll look into it. When we received our bill (in FULL) there was a coupon for a free appetizer with purchase of a entree. We waited to speak with her, the manager again but she disappeared. After all that you really think I want to buy more food! I spoken to some other friends and this seems to be the normal at Longhorn now. It really sucks we loved there chicken in crusted Parmesan dish.
