Great food and even better service. This little place has some great prices as well! The dry rub BBQ pork loin was delicious w/o the home made sauce and even better with it! Stopped in for lunch and was very pleased to see a nice pink smoke ring on my platter of succulent pork slices. It was heavenly. Stop in, sit at the bar, and get some great Q and an ice cold beer and enjoy life.

I tried this place based on Yelp reviews showing it to be a good barbecue place. I'm just visiting Decatur on business, so had to go searching to find it. There is no lit signage, and, after dark, I couldn't even see a street sign. So I hoped it was going to be so good that it didn't need to have a sign. I was disappointed. The service was friendly and good, but the food wasn't impressive. The baked beans tasted like they were straight from a can. The full rack of ribs looked great, but was just average or a little below, compared to other BBQ places I've been to in other states. There are lots of barbecue places around Decatur, so the next time I'll try a different one. Note: Pepsi products. It was $15 before tax and tip.

I had to update to make sure I added the Grilled Chicken Nachos to my 100 Dishes to Try List. They are delicious! Freshly fried tortilla chips topped with a white cheese sauce, grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato, BBQ sauce, salsa, sour cream, and jalapenos. It's on the appetizer menu and it's a great value because it's a huge portion. If you're not wanting to roll out of the restaurant after eating them then ask for a half portion. And don't snarl your nose at the BBQ sauce and salsa combo, it's good and it actually works! I'm singing my praises right now y'all! On another note I also recommend NOT getting the Rib sandwich. I wasn't paying attention to what I said one day when ordering a BBQ sandwich and ended up with a rib sandwich that was tough to eat and left me feeling unfulfilled. Plus they left my chips out of my to go box. It was pouring rain that day so wasn't going back just for a bag of chips. I did eventually get to try the BBQ sandwich. The meat was tender and had a good rub that was very faint. They didn't put enough sauce on for my taste and didn't give any extra sauce (ordered to go). There were some traces of fat left also if that bothers you but it was easy to pull off. The meat didn't have much of a smoked flavor either. It was just OK in comparison to the pork loin and nachos. I've also tried the Rib Gumbo and Chicken Salad sandwich combo. I really liked the gumbo, very different from other gumbos I've tried. It had a gravy-like consistency and the meat fell apart it was so tender. A little too hearty for our triple digit summers so I'll be indulging on this again in the winter. The chicken salad I liked. It was chunky and very much mayo based on fluffy slices of bread. Be careful though, both my friend and I have found bones in our chicken salad sandwiches. List: The best BBQ sauce, nachos, and pork loin I've ever had.

Outstanding rib gumbo (you really should try it), very good chicken, chicken fingers, chicken salad and hamburgers. The most consistently good ribs in town. I also like the sports-related decor. Nice place.

This is the BBQ spot not just in Decatur, AL but in all of Alabama! Bold statement I know but BOLD is what BB Perrins Barbecue is all about. Their flavors are BOLD! From the smoke flavor of the meat to the smooth and tangy sauces, you will find no better. Well at least I haven't.

The building is a little off the street and doesn't look like much but inside is fairly nice and the staff is always friendly. It's a good place to watch a game and eat some chicken or ribs. Many people enjoy the white sauce for chicken but I'm not one of them. Their regular barbecue sauce is just about perfect though. Also, they have good drink specials during Bama games and the place is packed.

A friendly sports bar atmosphere...my favorite dish is the Chicken tenders and dipping sauce. My husband likes the pork loin plate. Staff is friendly and efficient.
