I went to Los Tacos on my lunch break and planned on bringing my burrito back to work, but when I saw and smelled my gourmet burrito I knew right then that things were getting messy. I tucked myself far in a parking lot and did stuff to that burrito that is illegal in some states. I had to lean my seat all the way back to avoid people seeing what I was doing. I felt rotten after eating this monster and had to repent for my gluttonous behavior.

stopping here was a spur of the moment decision. I went in to see the menu and order but took my order to go. I tried 3 crispy ground beef tacos and a mandarin jarrito. the tacos were decent and definitely better than the neighboring alternative. overall not bad.

You can't beat Mexican drive through. This puts Taco Bell to shame. I usually get the fajitas but they also have gray tacos. The breakfast isn't too shabby either!

Good Mexican joint. Probably one of the best on Baldwin County. Authentic choices and good salsa. Prices seem a little high for what you get but all in all a good spot. Chips are very good.

Ay, Caramba! Authentic fish tacos, (shrimp too!) The fish and shrimp tacos can be ordered either fried or grilled, with flour or corn tortillas. The pico dear gallo is as good as you will find. They are located in an old Krystal's building, so it is nice that GOOD food is finally be created within those walls.

I've been trying to find really great Mexican food on the Eastern shore and Los Tacos was my next stop on that quest. Believe me, I won't be back. I don't know what all these other people are eating, but it definitely wasn't what I got tonight. First off, Los Tacos is way overpriced. They charge regular sit down prices for a half-a** fast food experience. Tacos are $1.89 a piece. I got one of each meat type and they were all pretty terrible. It just tasted like generic food. The meats weren't seasoned at all. I also ordered their supreme nachos and those were equally disappointing. Take your chances at the Taco Bell next door. You'll save about half and have a better experience than Los Tacos (the only plus they have is that they have booze).

Yum! Great food, affordable price! Only thing: if you really want to serve California style, you'll have to be open on Sundays.

Finally some good, authentic mexican food in Daphne! We used to have to drive to the Fairhope location, but now we have one right next door. It's cheap, fast, and oh so yummy! **I should mention that I only ever drive through, so I can't speak on behalf of the atmosphere or cleanliness of the place.

Traveling around the southeast, Savannah, Charleston, etc...and made it here to Alabama. Jonesing for some Mexican food and stopped at Los Tacos. Really good authentic Mexican food and priced VERY reasonably. Salsas are made fresh each day, (I asked) as well as the beans, no cans (again I asked). Queso dip was very good. Best part is that if you have kids and they don't like Mexican food that have other things on the menu. 2nd best part is they serve beer! What is better that beer with chips and salsa?

Good Mexican food is hard to come by. The food is delicious and the service was great. The ladies are so friendly and nice. Service was also fast. Cheap prices but you get a lot of food.

Wow. This is a great little Mexican restaurant. Fresh ingredients, great prices, and you can even get a beer with your meal if you want one. It is located right next to Taco Bell, and if I was the Taco Bell owner I would be worried, because this place has much better food, very friendly service, and much fresher ingredients.

This is a pretty good restaurant. Just like the name says, they got lotsa tacos. You can get you some tacos. You can get you some beans. You can get you a hamburger. Don't nobody care. I got me a thing called a macho man burrito. It is like a cheeseburger they has in mexico i guess. It was pretty good, but it was the biggest cheeseburger i ever had to eat. And a cokecola. I had to take me two different poos after I finished.

Finally! A good Mexican fast food place with excellent bean and cheese burritos. Good tortillas and refried beans. Almost like Roberto's in Las Vegas! Hard tacos with shredded beef were tasty. My new find! Will be back!

What a gem! This little hole in the wall Mexican joint sits right next door to Taco Bell on the 98 service road. The food is definitely more restaurant quality than fast food, and they serve beer and margaritas! They have daily specials, and a mucho macho burrito so big that you can eat on it for 3 days. They have some of the best guacamole around too. The prices ($2.50 for a huge tamale!) will make you forget all about the cute little Spanish speaking chihuahua. The hubs and I both ate for less than $12. Did I mention this place is so clean you could eat of the floor?

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
