Best cheeseburger in Tuscaloosa. We eat here every couple of months and it always delivers. It's almost surreal to see people smoking during lunch, but what do you expect out of a dive bar? Certainly worth checking out.

A friend told me they were voted the best cheeseburger in tuscaloosa and 3rd in alabama in a 2014 competition.... I'm not a real huge fan of burgers but seeing how I've lived here all my life and I was craving one I decided to try it.... I'm no judge and really not someone who can tell a world of difference between burgers but I must say it was very good and my waitress was very nice.... I'm also a smoker so enjoyed being able to smoke while I waited for my food without having to go outside and explain to my waitress in not leaving I'm just going to smoke.... They also had a pool table in the back room which was a nice touch.... Overall I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere....

This place has a local reputation for great burgers. We just had to check it out. The burgers themselves were outstanding. Big beef patty, lots of great toppings...the burgers looked and tasted really good. The sides we ok. Onion rings were cooked just enough to be crunchy... I'd prefer them fresh not frozen. Fries were good. The decor is standard biker-bar. The only negative is that the whole place is smoking... Not so much of a "family" atmosphere. But, for lunch today not bad. I'll go back.

A group of us went there for lunch today. Friends had recommended the place. I didn't realize the name of the place was 'THE' Oasis, so I missed the reviews. I really wish I had seen Russ's review before I went, because I couldn't find my way back through the smoke to leave once I walked in there, so I just sat and ordered. Ugh. I think my burger was good, but I wasn't sure, because I couldn't really taste it through the smoke. I sampled fries and home fries. Neither were crispy. The onion rings were good. And my group really loved their Ranch dressing. The best thing about our visit was the server. She was prompt, friendly and accurately served our order. I thought the place was fairly pricey, my bill was higher than 5 Guys, and at least that place is smoke-free and clean. And Mugshots would be my choice if I wanted some booze with my burger. I won't return.

It is BT FAR the best burgers me or my family have ever tasted. teir fries are great, fresh. i dont like onion rings much so i havent ever eatin them there so I can't say anything about that. Yes, it is a smoking bar/restaraunt. I am a smoker, so it doesnt bother me. Yes, bikers go there and they have bike night once a week. We have a harley so that doesnt bother me either. Just because the ppl in there may nort :look the part of a biker" doesnt mean they are not bikers. we have met a lot of bikers in there, on non-bike nights. it's a great place to hang out, get to know people & just chill. coldest beer & drinks in town, BY FAR. Great service, friendly staff & THE BEST BURGERS i have EVER had. I think people should be rating the food and the service not the fact as to wether or not it is a 'BIKER BAR'. i give THE OASIS a big ole 5! thank you to the oasis for over 30-40 yers +/- of wonderful service and the best burgers aroud.

The cheeseburger and fries are very good. I swear it tastes identical to the cheeseburger and fries at Hooligan's. I went at an off-peak time, and the only thing that screams "biker bar" to me is the parking lot reserved exclusively for bikers. Otherwise, it's just a restaurant that plays country music...not sure that makes it biker-y.
