Greek chicken was terrific. Good selection of vegetables. Should have had some sweet tea.

Took my family here today. It was very tasty. The portion sizes were great. The flavor a were spot on. The staff was friendly and open. Very good southern charm. We will be back!

This was such a perfect place to get lunch! Went here with my mom (aww) on a Friday around 11:20 - not very crowded at all. I got the baked salmon - on special for the day - and my mom got the baked greek chicken. Both are fantastic! I really like their vegetable options - I haven't seen lima beans too often at other cafeteria style joints, but maybe I don't go on the right days. The jalapeno cornbread was a delicious touch! It's downright evil to put the desserts at the front of the line, though. ;) This place is a similar setup to Niki's and Bogue's, so if you like those places it's worth venturing here. I will say I usually roll myself to the curb out of Niki's, and I was unimpressed with the small selection at Bogue's. This place had lots of options, was very filling, and a little lighter on the grease, so I didn't feel absolutely miserable after I left (though I was seriously eyeballing that mac and cheese - maybe next time!). Also - if you are a salad person, they had some beautiful greek salads for only $4, and lots of dressing options.

The tea, mexican cornbread and peach cobbler was good. I am a southerner but the food was a disappointment ..the turnips greens tasted like can greens the beef tips and rice were not good.. The Mac and cheese needed some salt but was ok.. Would I go back ? Probably not.

Cafeteria style restaurant that is on point. The veggies are great, Not cooked to death. Bread is good corn bread or roll. Fried chicken or fish is where it's at. You won't regret getting a slice of pie. Wait staff are very helpful and nice. Good place for lunch.

Had a taste for Greek Chicken after leaving church Sunday. Had the intention of going to Niki's West but felt that was a bit of a trek. Went here instead. Excellent portion, same price & a lot closer--maybe closer. Will definitely coming here again.

I've been to Sweet Tea about 4 times. It's always pretty good, but this time I was struck by the staggering amount of sugar in everything. I get the name has sweet in it, but does that have to mean everything, including things that shouldn't have sugar in them? Here's a list of what I had that had varying amounts of sugar in them: Pinto bean (really!); the butter they provide; the Jalepeno cornbread; the batter on my catfish; the tarter sauce. I know tarter sauce is made with sweet relish, but this tarter sauce is sugary. I recently had the same experience at Nikki's West, and it was five times worse than Sweet Tea. I am not a sugar nazi, but I don't want sugar in things that should never have it in the first place.

The food was okay the service was horrible and the wait is ridiculous and they are very unorganized and all the cooks in the kitchen did not have on hairnets

It's good! Very good. Large portions. $10 meal. Tray line style.

This is a cafeteria style restaurant with pretty good food. The meats at any cafeteria style restaurant can get dry easily, and a few things here suffered from that. My girlfriend's baked Greek chicken, and my dad's turkey both were a little dry, and my smothered pork chop was a little soggy. But these are the kinds of things that happen when food is sitting it big trays under heating lights frequently. The vegetables were good, and the sweet tea was also great. I wasn't as crazy about my chocolate pie when compared to other cafeteria style places I've gone too, but I think it was just personal preference, not lack of quality. I loved the cornbread as well. Further, the line moved quickly and the waitress refilled our beverages quickly. Overall very good cafeteria style restaurant with great Southern food.

The outside looks way more inviting than it really is. I figured it was a standard diner type joint. Advertisement for breakfast outside caught my attention so stopped by only to find out that the hours on the advertisement weren't reality. I had to walk around to find someone to help me, and when I asked about breakfast, the waiter responded with, "Oh, we've already closed that down." When I mentioned the ad outside with the posted hours, he just shrugged. Had a quick lunch, nevertheless. Service pitiful. Food not worth a second trip.
