We had a marriage fiesta celebration backyard party for 40 several weeks ago at our home in Vestavia. The truck pulled into the driveway and the fun started. The appetizers were fresh and hot off the grill. Then everyone ordered what they wanted for dinner. The cranberry apple onion quesadilla was my mother -in-laws favorite! The entree number one choice was either the blackened fish sandwich or the roasted pulled pork sandwich. My personal side favorite was between the fried green tomatoes and the rosemary sweet potatoes! They also supplied the Dreamcake cupcakes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and unique. Everyone at the party thought it was fabulous and fun...especially me! We plan to do it again when my other children marry. Thanks again for great food and service Chef Michael.

I saw Sphoonfed while going out with my friends. It look cute, clean & interesting then we decided to try them out. We didn't regret for that. Their food is very delicious with reasonable price. The small mobile restaurant made us a great time! The staff are friendly and helpful. IF you see them any where, don't hesitate to try them out!

Another great food truck in Bham! I usually see them around 5th Ave. N, and finally decided to stop and try them out. I am glad I did. Spoonfed has a pretty decent size menu for a food truck, and really good prices. It's a pretty upscale looking truck, I mean it has a tv monitor with with menu. Crazy. I had the goat cheese burger with fries, and it was great. The burger was nice and juicy and the goat cheese gave it that extra tang. I am sure I will catch them another day to try something else. Yay for food trucks! You will wait in line, be prepared.

Another great experience! We shared the Southern Soul Bowl and Blackened Fish Sandwich with garlic herb french fries. Yum!! While I liked the SSB, I definitely preferred the fish sandwich. We traded right back bc David was more of a fan of his SSB. The guys were so nice and we look forward to getting back to their Cahaba Heights location in the future!

Went to an Avondale Brewery Concert, Spoonfed was set up out there. The staff was very nice. Ordered kaboob and goat chesse burger. Due to our long wait, they gave us some free garlic fries. But it was a hair on out food. None the less they were kind, and remade our food! over all it was good

The SFG is all over the place, literally. This dude has a truck that he drives from place to place and sets up a mobile restaurant. The food is surprisingly good for coming out of a truck and its all fixed on the spot. I work downtown and its really as good an just about any place you can go, as long as you don't mind eating out of styrafoam. The quality of the food exceeds the quality of the presentation. I had the hot hammy with red roasted potatoes (or ro-pa as this guy calls them). Portions were huge. I ate for two days on it for $7-8. It was tasty. I'm not quite sure about the business model, but I hope he stays around. My only criticism is that there are no set days for him to be at any particular location. But if this dude needs to mix it up to keep his volume up then so be it. He should start several different email distribution lists for each location and shoot out something to the location he will be at around 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. each day.

This is a mobile kitchen caterer based out of Birmingham. They had this tricked-out food truck set up outside Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa this past Saturday and were selling burgers, chicken wings (awesome), sandwiches, chicken fingers - good ol' tailgating food. The flat-screen TVs on the outside of the truck made it a relaxing tailgating experience before and after the game. The owner said the truck would be set up in the same spot on University Boulevard (in the Baptist Campus Ministries parking lot) for every home game throughout the season. Roll Tide Roll!
