***updated *** Another visit, food was still great but service was slower. Order was taken promptly but had a longer than expected wait to receive. Not sure if it was kitchen or server that caused delay. Removing a star from original rating as a result. ****original review**** Decided to try the new Mediterranean menu instead of the standard Meat & 3. Seated immediately and drink order taken promptly. I chose the Shawarma Lamb Wrap combo and they allowed me to substitute rice instead of fries and no additional charge. The wrap had tomatoes, onions, pickles and tahini sauce. Lamb was tender and juicy. Rice was basic white with sliced almonds on top. Portions were generous but not too large for lunch. I would definitely order the Shawarma again. Rice was okay, nothing to get excited about but better than fries. Overall I preferred the Mediterranean menu to the Meat & 3 from previous visit. Meat & 3 was good but nothing to bring me back on a regular basis. Many of my co-workers are regulars for breakfast but I've never been.

Food was horrible. Be prepared, kitchen is very slow (over 1 hour for food to come out). I had been here many times in the past. I asked the waitress why it was taking so long. She said the new owners had their own way of doing things. She said they were not American and she was quiting due to the cultural differences and how they treated women.

We left highly disappointed. First off, we came in and set down and they had Mediterranean menus on the table. We were like "this isn't right". So we almost left and realized that half of the restaurant has Mediterranean menus and half of the restaurant had breakfast menus. So we set back down on the "breakfast side". We got their "signature breakfast " which had eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and hash browns. So then we got our food and it was the worst breakfast we had ever eaten. The bacon was burnt and tasted like it was cooked in a microwave, the biscuit was dry and hard, and the gravy was soupy and probably made from a powder mix. The decor and look/feel of the restaurant was not fluid throught the place. They had an old pirate ship steering wheel (like the kind that you would see at a seafood restaurant ) in the middle hanging as a chandelier, the chairs and booths didn't match, they had a random picture of a flower that looked like it came straight out of hobby lobby and to top it off they had Alabama memorabilia scattered throughout the front of the restaurant. Come to find out that the restaurant had come under new ownership and they were trying to run a breakfast/meat and 3/ Mediterranean restaurant all out of the same kitchen/building. The only good thing that we found in there was the sweet tea. I have never been so confused, disappointed, and ready to leave at a restaurant.

Food was slightly above average. Good eggs, grits and country ham. Pancakes came out cold. Service was terrible. Very slow to get first service. Food came out to our party at different times. Coffee was slightly more than warm water. Overall average experience.

This is a classic breakfast place. The food is great and its all traditional items. I always see someone i know because it is packed. For breakfast meetings with clients its a bit hard to talk because its so loud and close together.

Your typical greasy spoon, runny eggs, soggy bacon and weak coffee. It does the job in a pinch, but nothing to write home about. Service is friendly and they seem to have a solid cast of regulars. Again, an ok breakfast if you are int he area, but not worth a special trip by any means.

Ranch House has that family owned restaurant appeal to it. It's not as if the food is amazing or anything but it's darn good when you want something like a home cooked breakfast. I had the Loaded Hashbrowns which had chunks of ham, tomato, bell pepper, and onion. Also tons of melted cheese. It tasted exactly as I expected it to so I have no complaints at all. There is a Waffle House a stone's throw away so give this place a shot over the Awful Waffle sometime.

This is a great breakfast place on Saturday. I've eaten here a couple of times, and love it. Good ol' Southern breakfast. It will be busy with a full parking lot on Saturday.

I eat breakfast here about 3x a month, usually early morning on the weekends. It is no frills typical southern style breakfast on the cheap. While their eggs aren't anything special (they are not bad, but, if you are picky about eggs, don't bother), they have excellent grits, waffles, and their biscuits are some of the best I have ever had. Service is usually very good; my drink is always kept filled (this is typically my barometer for wait staff that tend to my needs well). However, I go often enough to have had a bad service experience or two, especially when they are so packed there is a line of folk waiting.

Ranch House is a hot family place for breakfast and lunch. Both breakfast and the meat & three menus are great. The service is friendly and usually fast, unless they're packed - which is often. Southern-style food at its yummie best - meaning breading, butter, and bacon. If you're looking for some yuppie, yogurt, health food, kale hangout - go somewhere else.

This place is a great place to meet friends and enjoy a laid back Southern breakfast. They also have good Southern cooking at lunch and dinner, but breakfast is my favorite. The biscuits are particularly delicious. Enjoy a wide range of breakfast options including piping hot grits, eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, and more. The only negatives are service that is sometimes slow, and syrup-sticky menus left from the previous guests!

A really good place for breakfast. This is a family owned business where folks are treated well and fed even better. Big crowds on some days make a wait for a table unavoidable, but worth the wait. I would respectfully note that the 2 not so glowing yelper's reviews are written by good people who are not Southerners and therefore not as sophisticated regarding Southern dining.
