Every once in a while, I just have to go there. They serve other things besides burgers but who the hell goes to Hamburger Heaven for anything but hamburgers? Onion rings and fries are good, too. But the coup de grace are the milkshakes. Yum. One word of caution. Do not go here before going to your physician for an annual checkup. He'll look at your bloodwork and have a coronary himself. Consider HH to be the occasional treat rather than a place to visit once a week. Otherwise, you'll be dead in three or four years.

One of the best hamburger's in town. The 1lb monster burger ain't no joke! If you make it a large meal it's big enough to be breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Fries are great and so is the unsweet tea. I try to go there when I can. It's a must go!

This restaurant is good food but sometime burger taste dry out sometime. The French fries are not cook well for me. I truly like the restaurant over all.

I've had better hamburgers at Jacks. Price was reasonable. Fries were good. Hamburger is not what I remembered having there in the past. Small burger. Just ok.

We were travelling through Birmingham and decided to stop here with the kids. The milkshakes are the best thing going. I simply did not find their burgers to be anything special, but ingredients were fresh. It's good comfort food for long roadtrips and not too hard on the wallet.

Love this place. Great hotdogs. It's very "Dairy Queen-esque" along with a drive thru. Their menu includes everything from ice cream to hamburgers. Great place to take the kids!

Okay...I haven't been to HH in years, so I go with the fam to have a good 'ole burger. Hubby & I ordered the #4 Cheesburger combo. The burgers were tasteless and waaaay over cooked. The bun wasn't just toasted, but hard except for the center. The meat was so overdone it was rediculous. We had Grandkids with us and theirs seemed fine to them, and being that we were in a bit of a hurry, we didn't complain since we had to get back home (70 miles away). We would have been extremely pleased had we gone to Jack's instead or even Burger King or McDonald's. I couldn't even finish my burger. I gave up on it 1/2 way through. The fries hit the spot though and an vanilla ice cream cone helped fill me up. I was really hoping that my craving for a good old fashioned burger made by a past favorite would be satisfied, but wishing now that we had just gone to Milo's or somewhere.

Used to love HH and didn't mind paying extra. This time I literallly would have gotten better fresher food for less money at a national fast food chain. Visited HH in Irondale and won't go back. Cashier was eating while she took my order, stale bun, bad burger, place was freezing. 1. The burger was small and cooked to death. At least 12 cooked burgers stacked on the grill going stale at 6:30 Monday night. 2. Bun was "crusty" and just stale. 3. I didn't know you have to ask for and pay more for normal burger fixings. 4. No ketchup bottles... 5. Asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager. Asked if we could speak privately: She sent the cashier I wanted to complain about to talk with me. Then tried to tell me that it wasn't cold in the seating area. I know it is hot in the kitchen, but I suspoect it was in the 60s in the dining area. I hope the other location has not become like this one: Overcooked, stale, mass-produced over-priced Fast food.

A good option for a quick basic burger that is not from a national fast food chain. The burgers are good. They offer hotdogs, fries, onion rings and a new menu item is sweet potato fries.

I love me some Hamburger Heaven. I work nearby on 280 and every couple of weeks I've got to hit it up for a cheeseburger. It's slightly more expensive than a fast food burger, but so so much better. it's got a local feel to it that can be hard to find.

Yummy! Delicious fish sandwich. It was huge and fresh and flaky. The french fries were also very satisfying. My friend ordered a milkshake and oh my gosh was it good. It is on 280 in front of wal-mart. They have a drive thru but we usually go inside, or call ahead and pick up. Really nice people that work there too. They have another location in Homewood I go to for lunch sometimes and both can get very busy! My mom and grandma like the burgers. I like to indulge in the fries and fish sandwich, YUMMY!
