Parking: There's a shared parking lot with the apartments above Chill. Just park on the right. The left is reserved for residents. Usually fairly full, but always had a space to park. When leaving, don't be tempted to exit the way you entered. It's one way. You have to keep going to the back of lot and loop around. They have a decent selection of flavors and toppings. The flavors get changed pretty frequently. The toppings seem to be fresh thanks to all the people that come here. Don't be shy about asking the cashiers for sample cups. Be careful when working the machine. It's not hard to pull the lever and next thing you know, you have a foot of yogurt on your hands.

So happy they changed around their flavors. Big improvement from how it was the last 2 years. I used to stop coming to this location because the Chill in Tiger Town had more of a selection (and my favorite, strawberry cheesecake), so headed here for a little dessert after grabing lunch "downtown" close by with no expectations. Needless to say, pleasantly surprised, and gave this new cookie cake swirl flavor a try. De-lish. :)

Not a fan of frozen yogurt but I got the New York Cheesecake, Salted Caramel Pretzel, and Oreo Cake. I love how many toppings of chocolate bars there were. The service was so kind and I got try tons of samples and eventually, this became my meal. The interior was cool and refreshing. It's pricey (45 cents per oz) compared to other yogurt establishments in other states but by the time you spend more than $5 on yogurt like I do...shame on you (I mean, me).

This was my first go at a self-serve yogurt bar. I know these pay by the ounce joints have been springing up like mushrooms after storms but only now am I trying one out. If you know me, you know that I am a Pinkberry nut and often wax poetic about the frozen tart tastiness. There are no Pinkberries in Alabama [yet, sadly], so I wondered what would be an adequate substitute. Chill does not substitute, but it's its own beast and can't really be compared to the Berry that is Pink. Thanks to the self-service nature, I was able to sample as many flavors as I wanted before committing myself to my purchase, not feeling guilty along the way. Seriously, you could probably consume a small size from just eating a lot of samples. There were lots of options, probably too many for an indecisive person like me. I eventually went with the orange burst (aight), chill tart (not quite Pinkberry), and York chocolate peppermint (very minty!). I'm not a big topping enthusiast, but there are all sorts of enhancements (including syrups and whipped cream) for your yo. Maybe a mite expensive, but okay. Just hold back, like what I tell myself at the Whole Foods hot bar. Along with sweet staff and inside/outside seating, there are frequent buyer cards and stickers and free wifi for those who fancy those sorts of things!

It bothers me that Chill does not consistently have cookie dough. You would think being right next to a college campus that they would order more for this location. I rather drive all the way out to Yogurt Mountain to get my frozen yogurt.
