Diabetics at Whataburger

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

The food here is always great, especially the herbed fries. Listening to two managers cuss and talk about money beside me is less than nice. Great leadership guys. My daughter will love her new vocabulary. Update: I have update my score because the Burgerfi management team contacted me to make this right. Thank you for caring.

My first time at BurgerFi and I ordered the Breakfast All Day Burger with regular size Fresh Cut Fries. It was definitely filling and more than enough for one person. My roommate came along with me. She ordered the BurgerFi Cheeseburger with Cajun fries. She also later ordered one of their concretes; she's been here several times so she knew what she wanted. My burger was pretty good; juicy and tender. My fries on the other hand were somewhat darker colored and most were stuck together. I'm not sure if that's how the fries were suppose to look if they were freshly cut. I would have to say, I had better fries elsewhere. The soda machine is cool, although I had water as my drink. The decoration for the restaurant is nice. I really like the huge ceiling fans, with lots of blades, that they have. There was a long table with old-style/vintage chandelier and cool light bulbs for group parties, which I thought was an awesome idea. It was a nice first experience and I stopped by for a fundraising event, so it was a win-win situation.

We hit this place up the last time in Auburn. Growing up in the MO custard was a BIG deal. We will get to their Custard but first the highlights. This is one of those hip new upscale burger joints. The decor is great, burgers and fries top notch and happy helpful staff. The custard was not good. I was underwhelmed. I compare everything to Ted Drewes and they were not even in the all game. I took two bites and it went to the trash. Go for a burger and avoid the Custard.

I've visited twice, and wasn't thrilled with my experience. The service is on point; the staff seemed generous and intentional when taking my order, but my burger was less than satisfying. I can't have red meat, so naturally I went with their veggie burger, but both times it seemed lackluster in flavor and preparation. Maybe a chicken or portobello burger could be added to the menu as an additional option for the non-red meat eaters?

Well, I'm going to rock the boat with a bad review. Everyone I talked to raved about this place... and I mean RAVED. I was told I had to get one of the frozen concretes, and that they were delicious. I decided to give it a try and stopped in before heading out of town after a gameday weekend. I like just about everything about the decor, friendliness, service, etc... but my concrete was TERRIBLE. I got the OMC (Oh My Chocolate), a 1440 calorie (according to the menu) dose of cocoa confection. "Chocolate custard, peanut butter, brownie, chocolate chips, and chocolate sprinkles." On paper, it sounds awesome. I love chocolate peanut butter things, and after hearing so much about this place, I had high hopes. I have never been so let down by hype. My concrete was probably 50% chocolate chips, 20% Brownie, 10% sprinkles, and 10% custard. No peanut butter (at least, that was noticeable). It was like a ball of dry toppings held together by custard. There were literally clumps of chocolate chips that were completely dry and untouched by any custard at all. I get that the concrete is supposed to be chunky, but it shouldn't feel like I'm eating a cup full of toppings. I don't know if this is normal or if it was just that the person preparing it didn't care, but the result was disgusting. I attempted to salvage it by asking for some/more peanut butter, of which I was obliged with a liquid peanut butter sauce (?), but I just couldn't eat any more. More than half of it was thrown out. Huge letdown.

Heard about this place from a friend so decided to give it a try. Ordered as soon as I was ready. Food arrived in average amount of time. Did not live up to the hype. It was good but not great. They did have Coca-Cola freestyle but I probably won't return. I much prefer Mugshots, Niffer's and Cheeburger, Cheeburger for a burger in this area.

First time there and really enjoyed it. My daughter had a cheeseburger and I had a hot dog and we shared fries. We ordered the regular size with Parmesan toppings and didn't even finish because there was so much. I wish my dog had been a little more hot but it was good. Great service and ambiance. Will be back for sure!

  • Rick J.

Great place. Double burgers... I'm so full. The fry portions are huge as well. Better have a regular size for 3-4 people otherwise you won't be able to put them all away. Great TV's with aluminum chair seating. Not bad though.

Five stars? Yup. This is definitely a five star burger joint. As we walked in, we were greeted immediately and handed a menu. It was borderline overwhelming, but I thumbed through it pretty quickly. There are tons of options that look amazing. You can even build your own burger. I went safe with the Burgerfi Burger and cry & fry (mixed onion rings and fries). The burger had two patties, but wasn't huge. It was so dang tasty. you can order the fries "well done," which means they come crispy. I also opted for vinegar and salt. Amazing! This isn't fine dining. It's a packed burger joint. One of the best packed burger joints I've ever been to.

Visited here on 7/24 Burger: small. They use really thin patties, most burgers are doubles. Lots of cheese, decent veggies. Around $7, but another almost $2 for bacon. So.... $9 burger. Fries: pretty good actually. Come in two sizes, regular and large. Regular is plenty for one. Lots of options for toppings. This is where BurgerFi earned that third star. Add a beer, my meal was $16 for one person. In my opinion that is pretty steep for a decent burger, but nothing special. I'm with the other guy, better burgers at Five Guys. You could almost sit down and have a Burger at The Hound (best in town) for the same price. Summary: decent burger, good fries, good staff, high prices, nothing special. "Meh. I've experienced better" perfectly describes BurgerFi. Props to BurgerFi for following up on the visit.

Very Good Burger. Quality ingredients and a focus to please their customers. The Fries were very good also. Pricy burger but you will see why with the quality and how they taste. Lots of option to customize the burger.

Burgerfi is a cool burger shop with a fun interior and friendly employees. The burgers are cooked more than I prefer and a bit on the small size but were quite good. Branding the burger with a logo was a bit gimmicky for me. I'd certainly visit here again. My one gripe was that the menu offers aioli as a topping when in truth they have garlic mayo. While close, they are not the same in terms of taste or preparation.

Loved loves loved!! I had the naked dog, large order of onion rings, and a drink! My friend had the Chicago dog, shared the onion rings, and a drink!! We paid twenty one dollars for it all.... Which I don't find unreasonable at all!!!! The hotdogs are fabulous! The onion rings are HUGE we couldn't even finish them all!The best onion rings in auburn!! Crispy outside and not paper thin onion but not an entire onion inside!! The perfect amount of each!!!!! I love all the bright colors!! It feels and looks clean!!! The staff is super sweet and helpful! FAVORITE PART: Outside seating!!!! Anywhere in auburn that offers outdoor seating is a win!!!! I mean it's the most beautiful place in the world! ;) War eagle!!!

Since I was satisfied with their BurgerFi Cheeseburger last time over in Kennesaw, GA, I decided to give their Breakfast All Day Burger a go this time around. It's full of hash browns, egg, bacon, and beef. There is also maple syrup drizzled on it, but I asked for the maple syrup on the side and ended up not trying it with any syrup at all - I personally felt the burger was savory enough and needed nothing else. The maple syrup reminded me of the Sublime Doughnut from Cypress Street over in ATL. I asked my boyfriend for feedback since he took a few bites with the maple syrup, but he did not care for it (neither did the cashier who took the order when I asked for suggestions). Again I went with the Cry & Fries (onion rings and french fries) as a side order to share. All in all, good burger spot! Finally.

As an Auburn alum it's always nice to try something new when I'm in town for a meeting. This Place was very good with typical friendly Southern service with a big ol' smile. Burger and fries were spot on. It's kinda funny to learn BurgerFi is from South Florida. I will try the one in Palm Beach based on this visit. Robby... War Eagle.

What a great place all around from friendly greeting to help being my first time to the mouth watering food that I destroyed. The ingredients are all natural so the taste is amazing plus the Coca Cola freestyle machines are a plus in my book. Hope you enjoy on your visit.

Really enjoyed it the first time here. Had a solid experience the second time too. The burgers are pretty good, the fries look better than they taste, and the custard is decent. if you haven't been, it's worth a try. you might love it.

Good options, tons of variety to choose from. I had the quinoa burger and it was hot and delicious and the large order of fries isn't kidding! They had the coke machine with the touch screen and all the flavoring a which was nice. I definitely enjoyed the food, if was just very pricy for a burger.

I am confused as to why this restaurant received so many positive reviews. When approaching the counter to order, my cashier was not very welcoming and we felt rushed to order. Given the prices of the items on the menu, I was expecting a really awesome burger and basket of fries but instead received a very small burger and a basket of overcooked fries. My husband and I were both highly disappointed and greatly wished we had gone elsewhere. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

A great new place for sports, good food and wine/beer. Within a walk of the heart of Auburn, a great hangout without fighting for a parking space by Toomers. Great to live in Auburn and enjoy on mom game days!

I received a very courteous and prompt response from both someone at the BurgerFi corporate office and then the general manager of the Auburn BurgerFi after my first review. The general manager offered to take care of my next lunch and meet with me about my concerns. I declined because I never meant to slam the place - only paint an honest, and personal assessment of my experience. I met a couple of business colleagues at BurgerFi for lunch late last week (their choice) and ordered the All Day Breakfast burger and the secret menu fries. The burger was much better this time, and those fries really are worth your visit! As I told the GM in my email, I suspect I caught them too soon after they opened. This most recent visit may have confirmed that suspicion.

BurgerFi is a bizarre restaurant. I went in there today to grab a quick meal to go and was completely and totally overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the place. The music, kitchen(which has a large open window behind the front counter) and patrons are deafening. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but I had to lean across the counter to hear the girl taking my order (PoR: I'm 21 not some old man). For all the overpowering atmosphere, the food was pretty great. I got the Supreme Burger and Alternate Fries, both on the secret menu. I would recommend getting a double patty if you're hungry. All in all I think the meal was on par with or better than the best burgers I've had in Auburn. The food was good enough that I'll certainly be back for more despite my few complaints.

BURGERFI is awesome! We were visiting Auburn University and stopped in for Lunch. They focus on quality sourced ingredients and use grass fed beef for their burgers. The burgers, fries and custard were great!

Awesome atmosphere and great location in Auburn AL. Saw many students coming from class with backpacks to grab lunch/dinner on the go. Very welcoming staff. Food: Amazing. Breakfast all day burger is awesome as well as brisket burger. I ordered off the secret menu (urban fries are so good). The custard is amazing and if you order concrete, they serve it to you upside down! Also, Kobe beef dog is by far the best hotdog I have ever had. Great craft beer selection Not as cheap as some fast food restaurants but for the quality of the meat and other fixings- it's definitely worth it. Also have a deal that if you buy 2 glasses of wine you get the whole bottle! Deserves 6 stars...

Amazing burgers, great service, a must try if you have never been. The burgers are so different and everything is fresh. You can eat a full 1/2lb burger, side of Fries and still feel good after eating. Not like five guys when you order a burger and fry and need to take a nap afterwards.

I have vistied Burger Fi 2 times and It was great each time. There fry and onion ring portions are very big ( you only need 1 to share between 2 people). The burgers were good also and my favorite part was the milkshake. I usually do not drink them but my boyfriend has got me hooked and I loved them here. My only con about this place is the price. It is very expensive for a college town.

I had the BurgerFi Cheese Burger and even in all its simplicity, it was astounding. Wonderful quality, delicious taste!! Even my picky, 6 year old sister loved the food. The man who took our order was helpful in explaining what he thought would be enough to serve our group and was right! The manager was eager to ask about how our meal was which is unusual (but in a great way!) for this type of restaurant. The only thing I would change is the size/cost of the drinks. The cups are far too small to be considered a "regular" size. Overall, great experience!!

  • Ian B.

This is my type of burger joint! Very fresh burgers, just like the ones you would make at home except here you get a HUGE selection of toppings, styles and amazing sides! I think about their onion rings on daily basis... I've also tried their Chicago Dog and it is very authentic and the veggies were very fresh. I really think what makes BurgerFi stand out is their quality of ingredients and wide range of menu options that will satisfy no matter what mood your in.

Robby... War Eagle.

Worst burger i've ever had and 10 bucks for a double cheeseburger and a lemonade no sides. Kinda ridiculous. Won't ever be going back.
