Went here New Years Eve 2014 and it was "OK" and really not impressed. Decide to give Crazy Horse another chance last night despite my wife's urging against going. All I can say is "wow!". We both ordered Halibut which I was anxious about until the dishes arrived. Great presentation, the fish was fresh and not overcooked - which is a crime to great fish. The service was attentive and polite and the meal was a 9. A little heavy on the bacon flavor but excellent otherwise. Am I really in Argo, Alabama? Rather than drive to BHM for fine food, I will drive the 3 miles to Crazy Horse. And, the entertainment is very good and not overpowering given the somewhat sparse decor. I am glad you're here!

I've been sitting here for over 2 hours. Still haven't gotten our food. And just got told they are out of steaks when we ordered over an hour ago and they are just letting us know. We asked for bread over an hour ago. Our beer has taken almost an hour to get here to us. DO NOT eat here if you value your time and if you do eat here make sure to eat before so your not too hungry while your waiting.

My husband and I went to Crazy Horse on our way to a late Saturday night wedding in the area. We both enjoyed what we ordered. Our waitress was excellent, but the food did take a little bit too long to arrive after we ordered it. My pasta was well past al dente and hard to actually get on the fork, but tasted very good. The rustic atmosphere and decor is great. Overall, we enjoyed it and will go back again.

We went for Mother's Day brunch, and on the menu they had a disclaimer to be patient with them. What!? We ordered the bacon cheesecake and boom boom shrimp. The shrimp was good, but for the cheesecake they brought out 3 slices of baguettes for 4 people...the waitress apologize for not bringing more, but the chef didn't allow for more. We ordered brunch. I had the Birds Nest, which was overcooked chicken with a soggy waffle. It was cold. I asked for bacon on the side, but the waitress said I'm sorry the chef doesn't allow anything but the set menu. Another person in our party couldn't even ask for scrambled eggs. Absolutely no substitutions, which is normally fine, but this isn't a 5 star Birmingham, AL restaurant. It's in the middle of no where Alabama, and sorry chef, but you're not Chris Hastings. Chris Hastings can cook and season grits He would rather die than serve grits that tasted like paste and were so overcooked that you could pick them up all together. My sister's tomato gravy was inedible as well. Never coming back.

Won't be going back....went Sat nite at 815, no line, no waiting. Asked to be seated in a booth and was told by the hostess that she wasn't allowed to seat 2 people in a booth... only 4 or 6 people allowed in a booth! Seriously!?!? So we proceed to walk out the door since it's obvious they don't care about customer service and the hostess changes her tune and says we can sit in a booth if we want... wait, what? Now that were going to walk out, we can sit in a booth if we want? Isn't that what we asked for in the first place? Then when we decline, an older woman comes up to us and asks if there is anything she can do for us and we proceed to tell her what we asked, what the hostess told us, and that we were leaving. Not sure if she was a manager or an owner but she berates the poor hostess in front of us for not giving us a booth to which we replied that it wasn't the hostess' fault because she was only doing what she was told! Ridiculous! Don't care if they have great food or not...that ruined it for us...POOR customer service!

Everyone was very nice. The price is over the top for the kind of food you get. The salad wasn't impressive and the steak let me down. Ask for medium rare and got medium well. I would rather drive into down than pay these prices.

Steak was not that impressive and not a great menu. The only thing I enjoyed was the rolls. Server acted like we bothered her coming in 30 minutes before closing.

Great food for the price! I love the filet as well as the shrip and grits! They provide frosted mugs if you BYOB and wine glasses for your favorite vino.

Wonderful biscuits, country sausage, bacon and chicken and eggs and grits and gravy at breakfast. Great steaks at weekend dinner with seafood specials. Great service and wait staff.

Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Menu is limited but everything we have ordered has been great. Only downside is that it can be a little loud when crowded. Usually not much of a wait. A very good choice for an excellent steak or chop.

We had an amazing meal this evening with no wait. Would definately come back. Happily surprised with the option for a lighter pprtion size. The filet was cooked to perfection and the garlic butter on top was good. The garlic mashed potatoes just melt in your mouth. The fried green tomatoes were to perfection. Just crispy enough and had an amazing flavor. LOVED the outdoor patio with the live music. The indoors is made to look like a stsble. Nice neat clean. Zervers were very helpful and presented the meals with outstanding customer service. Will definately be back!
