The pickings in Barrow are slim, but the quality and flavor of the food does not disappoint. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and spaghetti and meatballs to share. Both dishes were delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh. The best part was our view of the Arctic ocean as we enjoyed the food and warmth. We hope to return to Barrow someday, and we will definitely eat here again.

We really loved it. The service wasn't the best but food excellent. My dad had Mongolian beef that was great and I indulged in a delicious pizza.

Stayed in Barrow for a day and a half and ate here for dinner both nights. Service was a bit slow but that seemed fairly common in Barrow. I tried the calzone and the Stromboli. Both were good dishes. The calzone was $21 but was literally a medium-to-large pizza folded in half. I could barely eat half of it. The Stromboli was $17 and was much more manageable plus it came with fries. One friend of mine got the fried halibut and prawns and was pleased. Another friend tried the steak and was not so impressed. Arctic Pizza, Sam and Lee's and Northern Lights Cafe were the recommendations we got from locals. Didn't have a bad experience at any of them.

Selection of places to eat in Barrow- are very slim, that being said, Artic Pizza is probably one of the best in Barrow! Loved the calzone we had! Seems though this place is trying to be everything, as they have burgers, seafood and gyros- not sure how good those are, but I know the reaction of Chefs Irving and Ramsey would have on that big of menu lol.

My flight team would be operating out of Barrow for many months on end. After about a week, you've been to every restaurant there is in Barrow and you quickly find which ones are your personal fav's. For me, it's Sam and Lee and Arctic Pizza. The menu cautions you that it's going to take a good 20 minutes to prepare your pizza (they gotta bake the thing) but man is it worth it. When I find something I like, I stick to it. At Arctic Pizza, it's the Calzone. The thing feels as heavy as a baby (spoken in true "Fat Bastard" style from Austin Powers") and takes up the - entire - plate. I could make that thing last at least two days. It's going to cost you about $25 because transportation costs have gone sky high to get items to Barrow, but it's consistent, warm, and very good.

Excellent food! We are here for dinner our first day visiting Barrow because one review said "gyros, pizza, and seafood." Friendly service, excellent food. The Mamamia pizza was fabulous. Hot wings appetizers, garlic bread, Greek salad (with ham and cheese on top). The gyros were also great! They have burgers, steak, and seafood as well. Definitely the place for dinner.

Ok, so there are not a lot of restaurants in Barrow. But even so, this is a good place to get a good meal. The pizzas have always been consistently good and you usually eat one more slice than you should at that sitting. Plus they have nice tee shirts, pick one up.

This is our favorite pizza joint in Barrow. The view is nice, but you probably wouldn't notice it much as you are scarfing down pizza instead.

i god damn love the crispy bread with ranch-ish dish action here. the pizza is the best in town, i like it above east coast pizza and i fully approve of the swank factor in the 2nd floor. it's so filling that i feel i have to walk the 4 miles roundtrip to enjoy it.

Arctic Pizza overlooks the sea and has seating upstairs so you can look out large windows. The place is nicely decorated for the bush but it's not very clean. The service can be very slow here but pleasant. I recommend coming at off-peak times. They have a varied menu from the obvious pizza, which is very good to veal dishes and seafood dishes and all the usual sandwiches. At one time they served Indian food but decided to stop as it took so long to prepare. They serve lunch specials for around $10. Wish Anchorage places would do that. They also serve some Mexican food but I've heard mixed reviews on that. I always stuck with the pizza, gyros and seafood dishes. The veal was a bit tough but the Marsala sauce was decent. This is a nice alternative to the other places to eat in Barrow. When it's really cold and icy outside, this is one of the places you will like to sit at and eat for an hour.
