The Tea Room is tucked in the back of a cute little gift shop in a strip mall at Clayton Road and Kehrs Mill, right next door to Xenon. The shop used to be known as Dreamhouse Miniatures, and was focused on doll houses and accessories, but the focus has changed to jewelry, clothing, and gifts, and the tea room has greatly expanded. The menu is small, but it is all delicious food. They have a selection of salads, sandwiches, soups, and quiches. I always order the fruited chicken salad on a croissant with the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque is perfect, with some decent chunks of lobster, and it never tastes "fishy." All sandwiches are served with your choice of soup or a small sunflower salad, which my dining companions reassure me is delicious. We did discover, upon taking my young niece recently, that you can also opt to have chips and grapes as your sandwich side. Since there's no children's menu, this was a nice option to please my niece. The food is pretty amazing, but save room for dessert! Your waitress will bring the dessert tray by, and it is full of temptations that taste just as wonderful as they look. The coconut cream pie is always delicious. I tried a caramel gooey butter cake recently that was heavenly. The dessert menu changes frequently, but it is always full of delicious, homemade treats. The service is wonderful here, although I have to warn that they sometimes have lunch time fashion shows in the Tea Room, which are fun and enjoyable, but they also mean a bigger crowd. The Tea Room is the perfect place for lunch with the ladies, and you can even browse the nice shop after you eat, or while you eat, since all the decorations in the Tea Room are displayed with price tags. I highly recommend trying on a pair of the Lindsay Phillips shoes after lunch- the kitten heels feel like you're not even wearing heels!

Last Saturday morning we ate at this IHOP and we usually have to wait anywhere from 15 min. to 45 min. But this time it was about 11:00 and we waited only about 10 min. I guess the rush was over. We were seated immediately with menus and greeted by the Floor Manager, TISH. We had met TISH in the past because she'd spoken to us on many occasions when we'd eaten there before. She is the most pleasant, friendly, and keeps that area in order. She doesn't allow for anyone to be dissatisfied or walk by a table without checking or asking if everything is alright. The food was just right as it always is, but with TISH on board there's very little chance it couldn't be. Thanks to you TISH, we'll be back!!!
Was on a late night mission for hot cakes. I Yelped this location as it was one of 2 close IHOP's. The other indicated a closing time of midnight however; this one listed no closing time. I assumed this meant they were a 24 hour location only to arrive and be met with complete darkness at 12:10am I was hot! Shouldn't all IHOP's be 24 hours? Or am I overreacting here. At least indicate your hours of business. I'm also a little perplexed as to how they closed at midnight and was cleared out and shut down within 10 minutes lol...maybe I'm petty but I've experienced better.
Food is great but service is really bad. It takes them forever to serve food. Everything seems to be delayed and crew is a lot laid back

Smoky sure. No food.. great no shoving a menu at you when all you want is a drink. Best news bartender s that have charm and desire to be pleasant!! Further they are collectively attractive. Bonus... Kellie is a Texan!! Bonus cold secret Coors light.
Didn't know that smoking was allowed in bars still... Was definitely not expecting to walk out smelling like an ashtray after meeting up for drinks at a bar... It's fine because all my friends smoke but I don't... Didn't want to feel rude and leave but ughhh... The shots make up for it though. Popcorn machine is cute.
Yes, this place is a total dive. But it's also a friendly locally owned establishment. The new owner is a young guy who really cares about what customers have to say, and he wants to do great business. They have karaoke nights and specials. Fun place for a group. It's a smoking bar, so don't wear your coat inside or it will smell like an ashtray; I learned the hard way.
