Nice little friendly BBQ spot with kind staff and good meat. The rib had a great dry rub and some fat that melted in my mouth. The beef brisket was a little on the dry side but delicious nonetheless. And I was a big fan of the classic sodas. I'll stop back next time I roll through Wheatland!

Random stop on the way to Casper, very friendly service and fantastic BBQ, a must stop, you won't be disappointed! We had the spicy sausage, pulled pork, brisket and BBQ pork. Great smoky beans and cole slaw. Have to come back someday for the ribs.

Overall, very poor food. Ordered Brisket sandwich, pulled pork and pork ribs with baked beans and mac salad. First sandwich came refrigerator cold. Second sandwich came with cold bun and luke warm meat which was dry and had very little seasoning or smoke flavor. Refrigerator cold bbq sauce didnt really help much. Pulled pork had a good texture but barely warm and again bland. Ribs were confusing. They were delicious pork, tender juicy and tasted like fantasti pork but not at all bbq. I could not detect any seasoning other than salt and pepper and no sign of smoke, seasoning etc. and again the cold bbq sauce ruined them. The beans tasted straight from a can, mac salad tasted like pasta and mayo. I was not at all impressed.

Saw this as a recommendation online while on our way from Colorado up to Yellowstone for vacation. You have to worm your way into the heart of Wheatland to get to it, but it's so worth it. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place but the food is simple, tasty, and awesome. Great friendly service by the gal running the counter, and she went the extra mile to add a personal touch by giving our kids samples and chatting a bit. Loved the decor, kids had fun, overall a neat memory to add to our vacation trip.

We had a great time here. The staff chatted us up a long time and were friendly. My son is kind of a picky eater and they gave him a sample of the meats so he could pick the one he wanted. The brisket was tender and flavorful. I'd to back if I ever get a chance.

Just happened across this little gem. The brisket sandwich was delicious and the barbecue sauce topped it quite well. Had a unique soda washing it down, add some potato salad and smokey beans and you have a wonderful meal. I will definitely stop in again when I am nearby.

A cozy family-owned place in the heart of a small town. We stumbled upon it while on our roadtrip and had a pleasant dinner there. The food was standard barbeque fare and very tasty.
