Interesting spot. The food is darn good. Our table went big on pasta and all dishes excelled. Further, two at our table were vegetarian and they had a mess of interesting options. That being said, the food came out too slowly -- when you're dining with 3 kids that's a real problem. The wine selection could be a bit more adventuresome than the typical Estancia schlock. And, yes, the list had a bold misspelling (not pro). That being said, we'd definitely come back. Quality of the food WAY exceeded expectations for a relatively quiet corner of WY. Definitely give it a shot!

OMG, I would move here just to have their food at least twice a week and one meal would have to be,the grilled chicken breast with chipotle cream sauce with red bell pepper served with penne. The dish called for onions and I am not an onion girl and since each dish is made to order it was no problem to leave them off. I wish I had four stomachs so I could finish it off. Since I am on a drive back to Chicago I actually stopped and bought a container so I could bring it home to share with my husband. Zach, my waiter was wonderful as with the rest of the staff. It is a must go to place. Two people in town told me they are affiliated with the culinary program in the college.

Very nice and clean restaurant. Wait staff was friendly and prompt with service. We shared the Reuben with truffle fries and wee not disappointed. Very good food.

Nice place. I would suggest reservations though, on Fridays & Saturdays. We thought the meal and the wine were very good. Service was prompt and polite. Not pushy. I was impressed with the meals that I was seeing around us as we had our wine. 'Beautifully prepared and presented'. We each had different pastas, but the salmon and meat dishes I saw almost made me order again. We will be back again the next time we are in Sheridan. P. S. The cheesecake was 'melt in your mouth' and large enough for both of us.

I've been multiple times and always had a great meal and great service. It's one of the only places in Sheridan where you can try more than the standard fare. The food is always excellent and has great and interesting flavors. I've always had very attentive servers. It gets very loud in there on some nights but that's a sign of a good restaurant. Always eat where the tables are full and there's a line at the door. I will be back repeatedly!

This is a story of almost. Not uncomfortable but not comfortable. The staff wasn't unfriendly but they where not friendly. The food wasn't gaggy but it wasn't good. What you will get there is a butt load of almost and then charged out the butt. Save your money and go to the convenience store and get yourself a beef and bean burrito. At least you won't expect anything good there.

Amazing butternut squash soup, caesar salad, burgers and sandwiches. Excellent service, beautiful decor, and again DELICIOUS. If you are vegetarian, lots of yummy options.

a little noisy, but the service was friendly and prompt. the pappardelle with mushrooms and the curried chicken salad were both yum tasty. the ambiance is a bit on the generic side, but overall a good experience.

We love coming here. The potato gnocchi appetizer, house salad with gorgonzola dressing, lobster mashed potatoes, and truffle fries are particular favorites. Great wine list as well. We've always had great service here.

Great service and accurate preparation of Sysco mid-grade swag. I feel bad for the staff.

This is the place to go for dinner in quaint downtown Sheridan, WY. We read on Yelp that the gnocchi appetizer here was unlike anything anywhere else. And it did not disappoint. Made with cheesy gouda goodness, the only thing better than that appetizer would be if it came as a meal. Another place with a great selection of locally brewed beer, and here I would recommend the Blacktooth Saddle Buc Brown. As a beer lover, it's pretty darn good. Freindly service and a relaxed atmosphere make this worth the stop to eat. And like everyone else will tell you, you HAVE to try the gnocchi.

I really like this place. Second time there in two years on my annual trip to Buffalo to George's place. This year, i had the buffalo tenderloin and it was SOOOOO good. Perfectly prepared, med rare with light salt and pepper seasoning. it needed nothing else though it was accompanied by some delish fruity reduction and can't quite recall. We also tasted some calamari which was perfectly breaded and seasoned. Thanks to George's tip i had a started of kale salad which had numerous other goodies within to make it almost a meal in and of itself. Since we had just completed a 12 mile hike and hadn't eaten since breakfast we had to order desert as well, the caramel cake was my choice (of course, can never say no to caramel). there are some other spots to eat in Sheridan to be sure but if you are there for any amount of time that overlaps dinner, Frackleton's HAS to be one of them. cheers,

Must stop in Sheridan. The gnocchi that was Recommended on earlier reviews was indeed so good that I have craved it since and nothing has matched the flavor . The beer and cocktails were very good. The special was ok, a burger with BBQ on it it had on top what i thought was going to be a mild pepper was so hot that I had watery eyes and was drinking all the liquids on the table in an attempt to revive my senses. I asked the server she said she didn't know and later came back to say it was a Serrano pepper. I laughed later with a nearby table who ordered the same item and gave warning to not eat the pepper. We didn't opt for any desserts as we were craving ice cream, unfortunately the ice cream shop on yelp does not exist, so order desserts there, lol! Gnocchi yes, beer and cocktails yes, pepper no. My husband liked the truffle fries however after the pepper I can not review fairly.

Outstanding service and food. Everyone (6 adults) were thrilled with their selection and wished we didn't live so far away. Ambience was simple, yet decorated with style. Attentive, courteous staff, most accommodating in every aspect. "Ahi-Tuna Poke Salad" was a stand-out in my book, and can still envisioned the freshness of the tuna and the wasabi mingling perfectly with the other ingredients. Compliments to the vision and inspiration that the chefs crafted on such delectable selections.

Cosy atmosphere, friendly waitress, more european style food, very good. I had the penne Gorgonzola; it was delicious.

This was a very nice place. Open kitchen, nice decor, spacious also. The waiter was very attentive. I got a ribeye it came with fingerling potatoes and sauteed kale with chorizo. I substituted the potatoes for shoestring truffle oil French fries. My steak was cook medium well and it was cooked to perfection. I love a steak that you don't need steak sauce for. And this was one of those steaks. The kale was amazing, not over cooked and not under cooked. The french fries were really good! All and all a good dinner experience.

Not many restaurants can boast the quality that Frackeltons can while maintaining the reasonable prices and exemplary service & atmosphere . Take the time to give them a try and you will agree.

I'm giving this a "small town 5 stars." That's to say, it's not as good as a top restaurant in a Chicago / NYC / pick-your-major-city, but for small town Wyoming? This place was amazing! Don't get me wrong, even in another, larger city, this place would still be really, really good. The tuna poke was so good that my fiance and I were fighting over who could eat it. The drinks were quite good. My BBQ pork sandwich was also very delicious. A strong recommend for anyone passing thru or (like us) stopping by on a cross-country trip!

Plates range from $13-$27 ($27 for three scallops and some paddlefish caviar, not joking) servers are awesome. Cooks are apparently the people who run this place and get angry then take an hour and a half before salads come out. Should be $$$$ not $$ Food is tasty. Only reason for the two stars. Otherwise our only star was for their servers.

Wow--have the Ahi Tuna on a bed of lettuce and a glass of champagne. It was so good. This is a relatively new place---but great. Also, the beef screwers were super. Don't miss this place.

This place is a hidden gem one of the few place that I have been that I can say everything I have had is great. Usually sit at the bar Jesse is one of the best bar tenders I have ever seen.

Good food. The appetizers we had were great and the steak sandwich is spot on. The restaurant is SO noisy! I couldn't hear anything from the people I was sitting right next to! We asked to move to one of the round booths for a little more quiet. We were able to move but our server got all in a huff because apparently we had to change servers. He was definitely upset and it made us uncomfortable, but we were really happy to be in a slightly quieter place. Please do something about the noise! And next time we'll try to avoid getting that server. Even thought the food was pretty good, we just couldn't relax and enjoy our time together.

I will say that the food is wonderful here especially the brunch on Sundays. That's a must but I chose this place to have my sister in laws bachelorette party in hopes they would be a great destination for the evening. I was wrong. We sat there for an hour and finally had to ask if we could get menus and drinks then the whole night service was bad. He brought us our checks without asking if any of us wanted desserts which we did, then forgot to actually get them to us once they were ordered. So all in all this would be the perfect place if they worked on service.

Simply perfect on all occasions. The flatiron 12oz steak was deliciously accompanied by a spicy sauce, and the lobster tail mashed potatoes were heavenly. Wait staff attentive and very knowledgeable about each dish. Ambiance was classy and the menu was very creative yet grounded. Perfect place for couples or a dinner party.

Although my first experience was horrible, I'm so glad I have it a second and third chance. It is my very favorite restaurant in Sheridan now. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating and really served "properly" per say. Never reaching over is to fill water glasses, always asking before clearing dishes, etc. Wonderfully polite staff in all other corners!! Tuna poke bowl was delicious, my date had the lobster hoagie... Almost better! I even went for the cheapest red by the class and it was damn good. Oh and the calamari was spot on!!

Mixed experience at Frackleton's. Hubby had the ribeye, which was tasty and cooked exactly to his liking. My salad was not very good. It was mostly lettuce, sandpaper-like dry chicken, an uninspired dressing and little else. Very disappointing for a main course salad. (A salad I had recently at Wendy's was MUCH better.) Our server was very attentive when it came to taking our order, but didn't bring dinner rolls or water refills (until we asked) or check how our food was (until we were nearly done eating.) The wine menu is quite lacking, but the ambiance was descent.

Frackelton's has it goin on! From the moment you enter this establishment, the vibe is good. Wait staff is stepping smartly and the food was GREAT! If you get Brian as your waiter, icing on the cake.

Frackelton's is one of those restaurants that every town needs. It has a sophisticated atmosphere with a great staff who treat you like royalty. Now let's talk food. Frackelton's head chef is an amazing and passionate chef who puts his heart and soul into preparing a flavorful and filling meal. Personally, I love the chicken breast with the Mediterranean veggies. SO GOOD! The chicken is so juicy and the veggies are cooked to perfection. Of course, if I'm feeling crazy, I go for the sweet potato fries. BEST IN TOWN! Overall, I love Frackelton's and if you asked me where to go to eat in Sheridan, Wy, this would be one of my top picks.

Went here last week on recommendation from a local. Great downtown location with nice bar and dining room. Friend remarked that modern decor and vibe seemed to fit for a place back East rather than in Cowboy country. We had a couple excellent dirty martinis and then I opted for a gnocchi and friend went for a shrimp pasta dish. Spice and flavor lacked a bit for both dishes, but I found little else wrong with the meal. If I'm ever back in town, I'll definitely consider coming back!

Horrible service. The waitress never came back to our table after she dropped off the food. We were in for a late lunch and they were not busy. We had to flag down the hostess in order to get the bill. The food was decent but over priced.

Came in from out of town and was pleasantly surprised to find Frackelton's! It's a great addition to Sheridan's downtown. Food was great and fairly priced. The gnocchi starter was only $9 and was an entree sized portion. Service was fabulous, everyone was very friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely be going back again! Highly recommended!

Uh... Where do I start? This is my family's first visit here. When we arrived for lunch, it was packed. We had a reservation and they sat us down within a few minutes after cleaning our table. The hostess told us she'd get us knives, but never actually did. We waited a while for waters, a while longer for drinks... Drink refills were slow. We waited an entire hour for our food to arrive. Granted, it was busy when we first arrived. But within minutes, the place cleared up and it was mostly empty in the bar area. Two of us had lunch, two of us had breakfast. They didn't bring us condiments (ketchup, jelly, butter, etc) until after serving our food, and I had to ask for it all... Including the knives. Instead of bringing new drinks, the waitress took off with our old glasses. Who does this anymore? Haha. Everyone's food was great. Although my egg was not cooked to order at all, my meal was still delicious. The portions are great and we all finished our plates. Unfortunately, we watched our waitress chat away with people at the bar for quite some time. She never did give us our check. We sat with our dirty dishes on the table long enough we got fed up with waiting and had to go up to the bar to get her attention. She just took the card and without a word, resumed her chatting. Never once did she apologize for the wait. She checked in on us to tell us our food was to arrive soon one time. While she was nice, her service was just completely lacking. Ugh. My rating for food is great, but the service seriously lacks. If I lived in WY, I'd likely give this one more shot but I won't sweat it. Not too impressed. For this small town, this may be considered "expensive" and "upscale" but in general, its just another restaurant.

We had a tasty lunch today at Frackleton's. The atmosphere is comfortable and the servers friendly and helpful. I like that it's not too noisy but not so quiet it feels like a library. The location is perfect on Main St. so you can enjoy the shops downtown. It's just a pleasant place to break bread with your favorite people. However, none of that would matter if the food wasn't good. Not to worry, yum. I was in the mood for something light and while the bbq pulled pork, lobster roll, and the suggested fettuccine with clams sounded great I opted for the Ahi Tuna sandwich. It ended up being the perfect choice even though i'm not a wasabi cheerleader. The wasabi aioli butter was just the right amount of pow and tang with the perfectly cooked tuna. My friend had the spicy steak sandwich and she was pleased as well. Next time i need to have the mac and cheese or pumpkin ravioli. There are just too many good choices.

Very upscale menu for Wyoming. Excellent hand made pastas, basic meats and sides, inventive appetizers. Outstanding wine selection. Only complaint is the seasoning and sauces are a bit heavy handed, drowning out the flavors of the ingredients.

My third time here. My first was breakfast, it was very good. It was something different. The second and third times I had the penne with Gorgonzola sauce very well made. I like Gorgonzola and this has just enough of a Gorgonzola flavor that it's not overpowering. The chicken is very well cooked not dry. As for drinks, I just had coffee with my breakfast it was good coffee. The martinis here are very well made and a good variety. The service is good. The bartender is excellent I believe his name is Jesse. The reason for four stars is the wine selection, I like my wine and I dislike there selection. I just moved from the Northern Virginia area and I'm picky when it comes to wine and the glass I paid for is not worth ten dollars.

This place used to be Oliver's, thank goodness Oliver's is gone and reopened as Frackelton's. At our waiter's suggestion, I had the flatiron steak with lobster mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and was one of the most tender cuts of meat I've ever had. The potatoes were heavenly, I could just eat a bowl of them and call it diner!!! My friend had the Ahi tuna sandwich which he said was comparable to anything we've had in California's finest and the sweet potato fries were perfect. Glad to see Sheridan has a good restaurant once again!!
