This was a excellent place Steak was cooked exactly as ordered very flavourful Excellent and friendly service. And the price for the amount and quality of food was exceptional The owners/managers check up on us during the meal and met us when paying the bill insuring we were happy & full! If I have any complaint it was my stomach was not big enough to eat all the food they gave us! Well worth the stop !

Looked at the yelp reviews and thought this looks decent. Went to the bar. The bartender was talking to a customer about electrical work. The guy ignored me, so I walked out. I guess they make a lot of money there and does not need another spending customer. Went to Mikes.

Amazing green chili and a huge steak burrito. Would have given a better star rating if the service was any better. Service is sub par.

Fabulous blue cheese and caramelized onion burger. Really messy, but worth it. Fries were good also. Didn't like credit card system. There was not a paper receipt and you had to give them your phone or email for receipt delivery.

On a long drive from the west coast to the east coast, we saw the reviews and decided to try Mike's big grill for dinner. The restaurant has a rugged cabin feel. Our waitress was new but friendly and attentive. Now the food... The food was great! The steaks were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The homemade green chili sauce was amazing. Portions were large, even the kids meals. As we were eating, the chef and owner Mike, came out to check on us. If we drive back through this way, we will definitely be coming back.

Burrito is bigger than chipotle!!!! Amazing food and incredible service. Burrito to go smothered in a chicken and green chili sauce was incredible. Worth every penny. Bacon cheese burger was cooked to perfection (medium rare). Kids meal was huge and all fries are cut fresh and delish :) Micheals place is cozy inviting and clean. Micheal himself is such a nice person with the biggest heart. This is the best family owned business we've had the pleasure to dine at in Rawlins. Rawlins is a very small town with not many places to eat and most are over priced. You won't be disappoint eating at this warm inviting grill and bar with your family. They serve you free chips (seasoned ) and salsa. - we all literally wanted more and could drink the salsa ( medium spice )

Man that greeted us was friendly. Atmosphere for a town that size was fine. The waitress was unpleasant and overworked. Food ok. It took 45 mins for a hamburger and we were on the road hoping to get in and out. A 20% tip was automatically charged and certainly not worth it. I would not return.

This place is amazing! We're driving from CA to MA and stopped in Rawlins without high expectations. But this restaurant changed that! We got the country fried chicken steak and the 10oz sirloin. So so good and such fresh cuts of meat. The owner stopped by every table to check on folks, definitely eat here if you find yourself in the area!!

What a great place to eat after a long day of driving. Service was friendly, chef/owner came out to our table to check on us. THE STEAKS WERE FANTASTIC AND COOKED TO PERFECTION!!!! I had the Porterhouse cajun style, partner got the Delmonico, and our friend got the surf and turf. Still thinking about how good they were a day later. If you're looking for a great steak, do yourself a favor and stop here.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. In fact, I was so unimpressed that it was the catalyst for me even getting a yelp account and writing a review. The salad was OK, but really basic. I asked for it with no dressing, which they complied with. But for some reason, they saw fit to put Ranch dressing on a portion of my prime rib. If I didn't want dressing on my salad, why would I want it on my prime rib? I didn't even know that was something I needed to request to not be placed on it! The menu, which was old and crumbly like a sheet of gross parchment, suggested it be cooked medium rare, so I went with that. It instead was medium. The waitress forgot about me during a refill and I had to ask to even get my drink back. The worst part is that it wasn't even busy at the time. When she did come back, she served my drink with a kid on her hip. It was the weirdest, most off-putting method of service I'd ever seen. Who carries a kid with them while waiting tables? The baked potato was decent at least. Absolutely plastered with sour cream though. I'm not a fan of it, but I was hungry so I powered through. I don't ever foresee myself coming back to this place.

Friendly service, great atmosphere and great food. We got burgers and the fried onions as an appetizer. Great stop along 80 if you're looking for a good spot!

I was there Sunday night and it was very busy..probably due to Fathers Day.there was a line out the door. We did have to wait a while but not anymore than i have waited on a weekend night in the city. But the wait was worth it!. Large portions and great flavor. The waitress ssid that the owner cooks so he can guarantee the food is "perfect".I would definitely recommend this place..we will be back

This has got to be the best place in town for great food and great company. No matter what I order, the food is great.

We came in about 8:45pm on a Wednesday night, which might have been a little late for supper, but our orders were cheerfully taken. I ordered a side salad, which was a large serving of romaine, some carrot shreds and croutons, with the dressing on the side. This was brought out first, along with chips and salsa, as an appetizer. The chips were unusual in that they had been sprinkled with a chili powder. They were hot and tasty, as was the salsa. We were about filled up when the main meal arrived! I had the Chili Rellenos (2 with cheese filling), rice and beans. The plate was $10.99 and the portions were generous. The Rellenos had a thick, almost puffy egg batter coating. Really good, and the poblanos were not too hot. The beans were good also. The rice was bland. Our waitress was nice, and the owner/manager (?) came by as we were finishing and asked if we enjoyed our meal. The other patrons were a table of construction workers, and they seemed to have enjoyed their meals also.
