Three tables of people in the restaurant and two eggs, bacon and omelette took 45 minutes! Really?

Soft reopening is under staffed and disorganized. No one would take a carry out order and when I pointed out to the new owner that people were leaving because they couldn't get waited on, the response was "I just got here". Maybe try again in a month. They are not ready for customers. I waited for over 25 minutes and they have not started on my order yet.

Pitaful. Monday night 5:30PM, only one in restaurant, should have been clue, or the fact no one else came in while we were there. Undercooked steak, that was warm, not hot. Had to track down waitress to have it recooked. Still undercooked. Do not recommend.

I didn't look for the yelp reviews before . We made an impulse choice. We spent the day fishing and got back into town cold, wet, and starving at 7pm. Stockman's was all lit up and had a lot of pickup trucks parked out front. These cowboys are normally a good sign. Normally. The special was pork ribs. If it was Monday I might be skeptical of any special. But in a meat based economy town like Pinedale, on a Friday? Gotta be great. Turns out they were oven baked then briefly charred over a gas flame then refrigerated for a few days until a sucker ordered them. Reheated and slathered with barbecue flavored syrup and served up slightly warm. My wife (an unfortunate vegetarian) ordered something pasta. She took two bites and threw up the white flag.

First let me say that the waitress did a great job. The problem was the preparation of the food. My wife ordered chicken wings that were cooked but cold like they had been sitting under a heating lamp. I had the prime rib which by itself was cooked great. The problem was the sides. The carrots tasted like they came from a can and the potatoes tasted frozen. As you can tell the meal had its ups and downs.

When we asked a particular question about food preperation, the waitress said "I don't prepare it, I just serve it." Had to wait for food for over an hour. Watched other people who arrived after we did, receive there food first. Food was tasty. When we complained, waitress was surly, but, did take one dinner off the bill.

Waitress very friendly. Prime rib & shrimp & scallops done to perfection. Potatoes, carrots & pasta below average. Salad bar included with meal & was small but adequate. Prices seemed high for the atmosphere. Would not be good for a family.

OVERPRICED TOURIST TRAP On Sunday nights, few restaurants are open for dinner in Pinedale, so it was no surprise that Stockman's was busy. The host/waiter was pretty much the only server for a large packed restaurant and he did the best he could for the overwhelming crowd he was left to serve by himself. The salad bar was decent enough, but the entrees we had were mediocre. My companion's burger looked dry and tasteless. My fried chicken tasted like they used too much sugar in the breading. Sugar? Yes, sugar. Not what I was looking for in fried chicken. The accompanying mashed potatoes were too 'dry' for me as I tend to like whipped and creamy mashed potatoes. Neither dish had any presentation whatsoever. The white plates the meals were served on were too big for the entrees, making them look skimpy and awkward. To top it off, lots of smoke made it's way into the dining room from the bar next door and people in the dining room were smoking as well. There was no separate "No Smoking" section. Wouldn't go back.

Pretty much all they serve here are sandwiches and burgers. The burgers were OK but the service was a little slow. There was no wait to get seats so if you are in Pinedale when the gas workers go to lunch and all the other places are full and you are really hungry go here.
