This is where the locals come, so you know you can't go wrong. The servers were very nice and attentive, happy to see the 75th strugis riders. Breakfast was great, except for the flies. I got the Denver omelet, it was very good. My brother and his wife had a good Breakfast too, sorry can't remember what they ate.

You know you have a nice local eatery when you show up at noon and the Sheriff is picking up lunch and the local elders are talking over the morning events. Had the BLT with home cut fries. The fries are cut fresh. The place can seat about 40 people and when it is hopping you may have to wait 10 minutes. Food was great.

Very good food! Quick service and cozy atmosphere. Nothing bad but nothing really amazing either. I would come back though :-)

Donna herself waited on us. I had the special tuna melt. Also enjoyed the stuffed bell pepper soup. Food was fine, but not so special. Husband was favorably impressed with the bacon pepper jack burger. Nice place to stop on your way though.

Food and service was outstanding! Been to a lot of breakfast establishments around the U.S. And this holds its own. Our waitress was on point with coffee refills and easily kept our crew of 7 satisfied. Highly recommend if youre looking for a quality meal. Will be returning

Where do I begin!! The Denver omelette was just delicious. Service was wonderful and very helpful. Locals seem to love the place so that was a green light from the beginning. I also had the fortune of going with a friend that can't finish their food so I got to try the pancakes and oh my goodness. Please stop here if you're ever in the area to savor this amazing food. FIVE STARS

Local diner/cafe filled with local regulars. Very busy and service is by friendly, fast waitresses who seem to know everyone. Prices are low and menu is breakfast all day and burgers, sandwiches and steaks. Very casual. So why can't I rate it higher? Quite simply, I felt mildly sick for two days until I stopped eating there. Can I prove it was the cafe? No, but I felt better after we quit eating there

We stopped here passing through on road trip through Mount Rushmore. Food was very good. Had burgers and fries which were very good. I liked the hand cut fries better than the waffle fries. Service was great. They also have little notebooks on table for travelers to write notes about where they are from and where they are going.

Great local restaurant. We had pizza, lasagne, and salad. They were great! The price would be between cheap and moderate. Worth every penny!

My partner and I vacation by doing somewhat epic motorcycle road trips each summer. We let Yelp guide us to our daily breakfast stop. I hadn't planned to be in Newcastle, but unexpected T-storms drove us here -- and OMG, what an awesome experience. The diner was packed with locals on a Sunday morning (we got one of the last tables). We were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness. I ordered the oatmeal pancakes and they were some kind of awesome with cinnamon and craisens. My mouth is watering as I remember them! The rest of the meal was kind of standard breakfast fare -- and satisfying. I highly recommend a stop if you are in the area. As for myself, I'm already planning how to get us back here again next year.

We went here for brunch with a friend who is working in Newcastle temporarily. My wife ordered the scramble (which we split) and I ordered both biscuits and gravy and a pancake. Everything was excellent. The service was a little slow, but I'll qualify that by saying it was the first weekend of the Sturgis Rally and there was a wait list to get seated. Our friend said Donna's is never that busy when he's been there and there were some new staff members he didn't recognize. And, we weren't in a hurry, so it was not an issue with us. Next time we travel through the area, we'll be here for breakfast again!

This is a great place to stop for breakfast. Good food, good service & it didn't take a long time. I would eat here again for sure... If I happened to be in newcastle Wyoming :)

We accidentally drove through this town called Newcastle, and the Yelp rating for Donna's seemed to be the highest. The burger was really good, I am glad we made the stop here.

I travel the Northern half of the U.S. for work. Eat out at least 10 meals pe r week. I often go off the beaten path to try local restaurants in smaller towns. Donna's served the best mushroom and Swiss hamburger I've ever had. Real sauté mushrooms, 2 slices of Swiss on extremely tasty meat. The fries were also outstanding. Greasy but not too greasy, skin on. I put the fries in my top 5 ever. Even the pickles were extra good, sharp dill flavor. If you're ever near by, stop in. You won't be disappointed.

If you pass Newcastle, WY on either 85 or 16 be sure to stop at Donna's for Breakfast or Lunch. We had great sandwiches, egg salad and BLT, that each came with a side, home made chicken noodle soup and a really good small salad. All of the ingredients were fresh and high quality - best bacon ever. The prices are right and the service was excellent. They even have free wi-fi.

We were just passing through town and stopped in for a late breakfast. The omelet was very good, as we're the hash browns, and the staff was very friendly. The rating reflects that this is a small diner, and it had everything you would want.

Stopped in for lunch. The bleu cheese burger was great! Cajun burger was very good! Fries were great and the staff was very nice and fast! Don't miss noticing the jackalope on the wall!
