What a beautiful view of the teton mountains from the patio. Great food at a great price. Especially if you buy pizza and drink water. Water is self-serve at the bar. We loved sitting outside and having lunch with friends on the patio.

Terrible! We stopped in for breakfast during our day in Grand Teton. Ordered breakfast and the young woman taking our order argued with us. She rung up our order wrong and over charged us by around $10. My husband caught the error and pointed it out at a which point she got quite indignant about how they take orders and we should have explained what we wanted differently. Ok, fine, move on. His eggs were barely cooked and not even close to the over-medium he had ordered. The coffee is brown water, completely tasteless. The ham was overcooked and dry. Very few condiments. $26 for a very basic breakfast, no thank you.

Combined with mediocre food, decent coffee, and stunning views, this place gets a "3." It seems like there may be some debate about the pancakes, but when you get down to it, you're not here for the pancakes. (By the way, they're not that good or that bad.) I had the classic breakfast, and it really wasn't anything that I would recommend. It included eggs that were made to order, AYCE sourdough pancakes, and a meat (from package). Combined with coffee, the total was $13 for a very basic breakfast. The actual random decor of a huge tepee and wagon in the front kinda interfered with the natural beauty of the mountains in the background. The waitstaff is decent, although there was a lot of off-key pop song singing and flirting with each other. (Maybe because they were teens?) If you want a gorgeous view of the Tetons while you eat, go to Dornan's. Or just eat somewhere else and take a nice stroll in the Grand Tetons park.

Ate dinner there, buffet was $17-18. Food was really not hot, the meat was dry. Mashed potato's were stiff. the stew was okay. Food there was not carefully prepared and tasted horrible. I would not go here again. Staff was not friendly. No indoor seating, so when the weather is bad, you just have to suck it up. But the views were great.

Meat was tough. Bread was stale. Beans and stew were ok. The dessert was good though. The staff need some social skills - hard to get them to say anything... then there are the bees (bothered the kids, not me). Of course the view is nice, it's next to the national park! Others seemed to have a better experience. Maybe just stay away from the buffet in the evening.

I love Dornan's- it's classic Jackson, and always has a mix of locals and tourists chowing down and enjoying the breathtaking views. I usually skip the chuckwagon and pizza offerings and go inside the store (where you can stock up on all kinds of trail mix and other essentials in bulk) for a truly phenomenal sandwich. You can order off the menu or build your own- service is fast, and the sandwiches are fresh, tasty- and massive.
