We stopped here for dinner during our stay in Laramie. I don't know what I was expecting for it being a "deli' but it stayed open until 10p so it's more of a restaurant. I got the chef salad that was enough for a meal and very good. My mom and I shared the bacon potato and it was, OMG, enough for four or something. My son got the french dip and my mom got the half french dip with cup of potato soup. They both liked the sandwiches and the soup got approval also.

I'm not really sure what the big deal is about this deli. I had the Angus Club, and it was probably one of the most unremarkable club sandwiches I have ever had. It wasn't bad, wasn't great, was just...whatever. Service here, on the other hand is remarkable. Remarkably sub-par. Maybe I visited on an off day, or maybe they were undermanned during the back-to-school week, but there is no reason why there should be empty registers when the line is stretching out the door and onto the sidewalk. I went in to pick up a to-go order, and it was clear that no one was manning that station either. To be fair, the employees were all very courteous, and I could tell that they were doing their best. However, management needs to do something about resource allocation to ensure that a visit to this place isn't going to be painful. In a nutshell, this place is probably fine if there is no line. If there is a line, however, I would go elsewhere. This isn't food worth waiting for.

I called ahead with our order to pick up while passing through Laramie. Went in and stood at the To Go counter for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Finally someone walked by and said he'd find someone to help us. Our food sat ready the whole time in front of us. Should've just gotten in the regular line with the rest of the busy lunch crowd who lapped us. Oh well for trying to be efficient and follow signs. Food was okay. Of our 4 meals, the southwest turkey melt was best. Good meat portion and flavor. I had the French dip - didn't have much flavor but the bread was soft.

This place is great I've been to Wyoming twice for a basketball tournament and it's close by the food is always good and fresh and the service is great. I would recommend one of the melts or the chicken cesar wrap. Yummm

Excellent place to stop off the 80. Lots of choices even for the vegetarian in your group. We ordered the Veggie Spud, Horseradish Angus and Veggie Club. All good. Mac and Cheese is an excellent side.

Great place for grilled sandwiches! Southwestern chicken is definitely recommended. Desserts are good especially the cheesecake.

When I was in college, this was one of a couple stops I'd regularly make with my buddies. The smothered nachos was the plate of choice back then. I remember never being able to finish the whole thing, but it was delicious. Also, bread bowls with chili or broccoli cheese soup were favorites. However, now that I'm done with school and have moved away, I rarely get to enjoy this McAlisters. That being said, the staff is still just as friendly and helpful. And, I've moved on to ordering the French Dip on a regular basis. I definitely am a fan of the sandwich and they always do it right. I think I will have to broaden my horizons after seeing what my brother and his wife ordered this last Saturday before the football game. The food is always good, maybe not great, but worth what you pay for. The drinks are always refilled quickly. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Anyone who says otherwise is just looking to pick a fight or is cranky.

Pretty good muffaleta. I would eat it again for sure. I lived for a couple years in New Orleans so I know a good muffaleta when it enters my gastronomical input orifice (a.k.a. my mouth) . In general this place is alright. My parents live in Laramie and they eat here a lot, they really like everything they get.

I love this place! Unfortunately they only get three stars because the service is sometimes a hit or miss. Same for the sides. The entrees are always well prepared but the sides....well...you never know. I am a macaroni and cheese hound and sometimes the Mac and cheese here is sub par and other times it's amazing! The same can be said for the mashed potatoes and gravy. I guess it all depends on the time you go in. I had carrot cake as a special treat this last time and it was delicious! There broccoli cheese soup is always great too especially in the bread bowl! They just need a little more consistency with the sides. Service is usually not bad but there have been a few times when the service has just been terrible... i.e rude, care-less attitudes, etc. great food though!

It's a chain, which means it automatically loses a point on the k-mac rate-o-matic scale for yelp star distribution. That said, they have a wide selection of sandwiches, with a few good vegetarian options. The ingredients, from my experience, are all fresh, and the finished product fairly tasty. The service was fast, courteous and professional. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not encounter any rude employees. All in all, its a fairly inexpensive place for a quick meal, that is closer to a Panera than to a McDrizzles. One warning - as of the time of this review, McAlisters is running a "kids eat free" promotion on Tuesday nights. In and of itself, this is not so bad, especially if you have a kid and want it to eat for free. However, while there were plenty of cute kids with happy moms and dads enjoying the promotion, there were also a few "free range children" present, with a few parents who feel that it is OK to eat a meal in a restaurant while their child is sitting in a dirty diaper; which, you know, kinda kills the ambiance. And while this is by no means the fault of McAlisters, you may consider a different spot to grab a quick dinner on a Tuesday...

McAlister's is a chain deli that serves sandwiches. I've had better at the bigger chains, but I've had worse. There's really not much else to say.

Great sandwich selection. Enjoyed the roast beef and cheddar. The chili was chock full of burger but tasted like it was from the burned bottom of the pot from yesterday!

My favorite quick food place in Laramie...huge selection and always fresh and delicious! Very busy on game days, but the employees seem like they are on top of it. If you live in Laramie, you should feel fortunate, because it didn't even exist when I lived there!

The staff would really like you to go far away...and you should run as the food is as bad as the staff.

Quick service and clean. The sandwich was good but I would've preferred a little more meat. The carrot cake rocks. Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, this place is right next door and very convenient. I would go back.
