This is a great little steakhouse restaurant in Jackson. Located in the basement of the White Buffalo Hotel, the dining area is quite small, but rest assured that the food is great. I ordered the tower wedge salad, which was beautiful to look at as well as delicious. It was a little challenging to cut the thing without tipping it over, but once I did Tip it over, I just attacked it with reckless abandon until it was all gone. For my main, I ordered the Bison Cowboy ribeye, cooked medium rare. The steak was seared perfectly, and tasted wonderful. For a side, I ordered the fried Brussels sprouts. I swear that they served me a full pound of expertly cooked and seasoned sprouts. These sides are definitely for sharing! For dessert, I had a decadent cheesecake that had me bursting at the seams by the time I had finished it. It was an excellent meal. Service was also excellent. I seated myself at the bar, and I was actually waited on by the executive chef. We chatted throughout my meal, and he had good recommendations when I was having trouble choosing between different cuts of steak. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I will definitely be back!

This steakhouse in Jackson Hole, WY rivals any great steakhouse in Chicago! The executive chef greeted us upon arrival and checked in on us during our meal. We ordered the ribeye and filet...both were mouth-watering delicious, served on 400 degree plates with melted butter. Parmesan fries yummy. By far the best meal we've enjoyed in Jackson Hole! Thank you!

Excellent meal- Bison Cowboy Bone in Ribeye, brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. My husband said it was the best cut of meat he has ever had anywhere and cooked perfectly. I had the strip steak, which was fantastic as well. Our server Sarah knew her stuff, a true professional. The chef even took the time to come over to our table. Fantastic wines, great atmoshere! Now come open one in New Orleans.

Simply one of the best steaks i have had in a long time. Finding good steak anymore is some times challenging but if you are in Jackson hole look no farther this place knows steaks.

After hiking the grand Tetons with my dad on my way through Yellowstone, we stopped in Jackson to eat ribeye. This was one of the best places I've had steak and wine. The head Chef Will made us World Cup inspired Portuguese and Brazil soups. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a baseball game with my father while salvo ring every bite. It is expensive but worth it for the laid back atmosphere and amazing steak. Don't pass this place by.

My wife and I had dinner for our 43rd anniversary. We have eaten at many steakhouses in various parts of the country including Ruth Chris, Flemings, Donovan's etc. All of those restaurants are excellent, however this was the first time in 43 years she said the steak was absolutely perfect.

Anyone who thinks this place is pricey has not been to one of the national steakhouse chains lately. Think Ruth's Chris or Morton's. The White Buffalo Club was considerably less than those guys while delivering top quality food prepared with a deft touch. This is a cozy little spot boasting a generous wine cellar and and a beautiful private dining room. The prime ribeye goes on my top ten list of steaks. The wedge salad is visually entertaining and a delicious example of a classic dish treated with respect while showing some flair. Chef, sommelier, servers and cooks, all a bunch of pros that know what the service industry is all about. Make reservations well in advance.

I was really unimpressed by the The White Buffalo Club Restaurant. My mother and I dined there at the recommendation of some friends, but we don't know what they were thinking. Before we get going, I want to note that I'm definitely reviewing this place with the price in mind. It wasn't an objectively terrible meal, but it was absolutely unacceptable given the price paid ($93 per person, including one $15 glass of wine). We split the Pear & Brie Salad which was ok but not good. It had four strips of brie, some thin strips of pear, and some soggy sweet potato chips with greens and a vinaigrette. We also shared two sides: the Macaroni & Cheese and the Garlic Parmesan Fries. Again, both were only ok. The Macaroni & Cheese was a bit grainy and really wasn't any better than the premade mac & cheese you could buy in the deli section of a grocery store. And the Garlic Parmesan Fries were a real disappointment: they were soggy and oily and there must have been some raw garlic in the parmesan topping they sprinkled over it because every now and then we'd get a bite with an extra strong, kick-in-the-face garlic flavor. My mother had the 16-oz Ribeye. She said it was fine, definitely not the best steak she's ever had and not what she would expect from a $43 steak, but not a bad steak. I had the Lobster Tail and Three Scallops. Both were quite good: the sear on the scallops was lovely. But, for $50, I'd expect my seafood to be "quite good," so that doesn't really help them recover any stars. The food wasn't the only substandard part of our meal though. The ambiance was really weird. We were seated in a cramped corner table right next to the cash register and could hear the staff chatting with each other during our entire meal. (One of them has an autographed Twins jersey, but the player who autographed it isn't playing for the Twins anymore, he bounced around a bit and is with the Tigers now.) Our waiter spoke way too loud; it was practically a yell. And we had a head-scratching interaction with another waiter on our way out: my mom asked for change for a twenty, so she could tip whoever brought her jacket back, and the waiter said, "Well, I'll get you your jacket first so you feel safe and then I'll be back with your change." Wtf? I just don't even understand what that was supposed to mean. Besides the seafood, the one good experience we had at The White Buffalo Club Restaurant was that they did exchange my glass of wine when I didn't like the first one I ordered (a rosé that I can't find on their online wine list). The Saintsbury pinot noir that they replaced it with was wonderful. But, once again, replacing a glass of wine (especially when it was the one recommended by the waiter, which mine was) is absolutely expected at any price point, in my opinion, but especially at this price point. tl;dr - only kinda ok food, weird atmosphere, priced about 4x too expensive.

I had a great experience at the White Buffalo Club restaurant. Upon arrival the service was outstanding. I ordered the Ribeye (Oscar style ) and the roasted brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection. This restaurant provides an exclusive type of dining experience at a fair price.

We, as in my hubby and I stopped in for a glass of wine and stayed for a lite dinner, the wedge tower was a great presentation and evenly tasted as well. The best for me though was the 13 or 15 bean soup with white chicken, the chef truly knows his trade. Best soup I ve had in a restaurant in years , truly the best. The bartender was very informative of the menu and made the best suggestions. I will be back there soon. Highly recommend

We were guests at this lovely hotel. Excellent meal marred only by staff member seating our party of four at a table for five - then asking us to move? No, you do not treat guests that way. We did not move. Steak tartar, scallops with polenta, and the filet were fabulous. Service was top notch.

What a tale of two nights. We're here from Dallas on vacation. Had a fantastic evening and dinner here last night. The chef chatted with us at the bar, and even ensured our drinks were made precisely as we asked while waiting for a table. Dinner was fantastic, the Bison ribeye was prepared Pittsburgh style and was exquisite. We enjoyed our dinner experience there last night so much, we decided to return tonight. What a mistake. I'm sure the dinner would have been fantastic, but the young man serving as bartender and maitre'd ruined our evening before it even got started. He promptly challenged us on the time we arrived for our reservation (an hour early so we could enjoy a drink at the bar before being seated). Then, when he noticed we brought our own bottle of wine, he didn't even know of the Yelp offer for a free wine corkage after checking in on the app. Then, after snotty comments like, "Are you members?" And, "I'll put a stop to that!" We decided to find a less belittling place for dinner. We did. What a shame. Update: Got a call from Will at the restaurant this afternoon. He politely and professionally apologized for the bartender's attitude last night. We'll consider a return visit next time we're in town.

Had the filets and they were perfect. Strong cocktails and topped it off with a great lime cheesecake that was refreshing. Great service and good atmosphere.

RESTURANT was in a great location and a very nice room. I agree with other posts on music it was a little much. Food was great but a little pricy. Service was fair, staff seemed pre occupied with baseball on TV and talking to each other. If service would of been more attentive for cost all would of been great.
