Try the huckleberry ! Very good. Not great. Little icy.

I'm no stranger to super gourmet Ice Cream. Minneapolis is home to some pretty fantastic Ice Cream Parlors. I am also an Ice Cream Fiend. Which means I had to try Moo's. The servers were friendly. Much like other places around Jackson, they had some sort of European accent you just can't place. In my past experiences, I find Ice Cream Parlor employees to be pretty indifferent so this was a nice change. The Oreo is very tasty but the true hero of this place is obviously the Huckleberry. Huckleberry is the flavor they sell all the tourists at all the shops and it's pretty damn tasty in Ice Cream form. Huckleberry is also a currency in Jackson. It turns out a Huckleberry is worth about the same as the Euro. Just don't put them in your pants or else you'll end up wearing your money. Is the airball thing weird? I guess. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if every review didn't mention it. It didn't bother me though. I'm pretty sure every store in Wyoming is legally required to sell some sort of firearm.

exotic flavors of rich, creamy, and delicious home-made ice cream. Had the huckleberry and it was pretty good. The staff was friendly and funny and they will pretty much give you a try of anything and everything

I think they also sell paintball equipment which is a little weird, but their ice cream is pretty darn good. We had the Chai ice cream and man oh man it was packed with lovely chai flavor. Better than any Chai ice ream i have had. We also got the Belgian white chocolate something. I forget the name. It was good but the Chai was my favorite. Definitely worth a try when you're in Jackson.

I did not eat here but my kids loved the ice-cream here. One had huckleberry ice-cream and one has strawberry ice-cream. My boy had been telling everyone that huckleberry ice-cream is awesome ever since he went to Moo's.

I don't make time to review the places I eat. I'm a foodie, grow food, make food, eat food all over the country. Ice cream is something I know about having spent many summers in New England which many of you know, is likely home to the BEST ice cream in America (try Benson's in West Boxford or White Farms in Ipswich and you'll have to agree. So, Moo's- It's just OK. I've been about 6 times in 2 weeks. I want it to be better but it's just OK. The ice cream is often icey and grainy. The cream part is too lean. It's just not creamy enough. The flavors always sound delicious but they're just too subtle. There's an excellent server with reddish/purplish/hennaish hair, she's cool. The dude with the beard is a buzz kill and doesn't belong in the front of the house. The space is horrible, People smashed against the stools, morass of people at the front entrance. I'm an ice cream guy so I'll keep coming back anyway instead of the alternative FroYo places or (yikes) Haagen Daz... If only Persephone made ice cream! Support Moo's maybe they'll get better.

Wonderful place, great staff. We stopped here on the way to YNP. I got the huckleberry ice cream and a chocolate cone for the baby. Ice creams to die for! The girl who served us was very patient and took the extra effort to double wrap my baby's ice cream (without me asking for it).

  • Trevor B.

Now I have to say that the wife loves her cookies and cream, cookies cookies cookies, cookie dough...I think you get the point, so she decided to get the Oreo. I wanted something a bit lighter and after a yummy sample went with the red raspberry sorbet. both o f these ice creams were so great (for different reasons) that we ended up switching back and forth numerous times while sitting in the town square. With all the sharing, lucky for us the portions were large for a single scoop.

Wow! Delicious ice cream. I was so thankful to find this place while on vacation. Kudos to you guys! Thanks again.

Really good ice cream--we got vanilla bean and huckleberry. Grab a cone and go watch the shoot-out outside at 6pm--fun times!

Ice cream was so good that samples made my friend who doesn't like ice cream buy some. Can't go wrong at this joint.

We have been visiting Moo's for many years now. It used to be located in the back of a store filled with items for the aspiring cowboy, but it recently moved to its own location off of the Town Square. The flavors of ice cream (and sorbet) are clever and delicious. Moo's is on our must-go list every time we are in Jackson, regardless of the season. Favorite flavors: Belgian chocolate, huckleberry (ice cream or sorbet). Really, we've never been disappointed, so order what sounds good!

    (5)
  • Spencer W.

Good stop in a good location, but just didn't think the ice cream was amazing. So, no offense on the A-OK rating, it's just that though.

    (3)
  • Kristin S.

So good we went there twice! It took some time to find since it's in the back of a leather and hat store (weird), but we were glad we did. The flavors are inventive and interesting. I tried the chocolate cabernet wine, but went with the butter pecan and chocolate toffee which were both awesome. I also tried the bittersweet chocolate which might've been the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had. I eyed the candies, but didn't buy any. Definitely seek this place out as it's way better than any chain store and the ice cream is made fresh in Jackson!

    (5)
  • Dan W.

I'm a believer. Deelicious ice cream. I got the coco loco (roasted coconut) ice cream on a sugar cone. Almost bought a second.

    (4)
  • Maggie A.

So, so good! It's so nice to find a place that doesn't use polysorbate 80 (or any other preservatives!) in their ice cream. Everything here is all natural, minimal ingredients, and really, really good. I tried the coconut, which was awesome, but the huckleberry ice cream was the best ever. Try this place, you won't be disappointed!

    (5)
  • Lady T.

Ya gotta go to Moo's! I love the huckleberry ice cream (with WHOLE real huckleberries, not some mashed up goop) and the buzz bomb flavors, but I find myself more times than not just having a simple scoop of the belgain chocolate in a waffle cone. It's to die for yummy! Staff is very friendly and I think the prices are very fair.

    (5)
  • Jessica S.

This place was great. Just go. Really tasty delicious ice cream with lots of options. I always want options when I get ice cream because I change my mind 20 times before I make a decision and I always end up getting the most chocolate infused kind.

    (4)
  • Aaron W.

Good ice cream but not great. They are pretty proud of touting their organic mantra but that doesn't necessarily translate into an amazing ice cream. If you want premium ice cream catch a flight to Maine and go with Gifford's, hands down the best ice cream in the world!

    (3)
  • Julia I.

Just ok. Too sweet. Hipster cool like in the whole foods way.

    (3)
  • Joe L.

The question is how many times my wife will have us get ice cream here before we leave town.

    (5)
  • Joshua R.

Took my kids here twice! Once at the beginning of our vacation and then again at the end. It's that good! My son loved the Oreo flavor and I would say it's some of the best pistachio ice cream I've ever had. It's in the back of a western hat store which s pretty cool also.

    (4)
  • Sally f.

yummmmm. glad to find this jem! such tasty goodness and interesting flavors!

  • Tony D.

Amazing ice cream that tasted fresh. I tried the special of the day...Maple.

    (4)
  • Ariel S.

I wish there were six stars. Yes, the ice cream is incredible, all made fresh daily with local, organic ingredients. I had the cheesecake (with real bits of chresecake inside) and strawberry together--the scooper was nice enough to give me one scoop mixed. My boyfriend (who is lactose intolerant) got mango and apricot sorbets mixed. This is after the scooper let us taste almost every flavor they had. The wished-for sixth star would be for the service. But service doesn't even begin to describe it. The scooper was just as sweet as could be. My boyfriend and I had a long talk with the other woman who was there, explaining his lactose intolerance and how much he wished he could have just a little ice cream. So she ran to the counter and scooped him a free, tiny scoop of strawberry piled right on top of his sorbets, just so he could enjoy some cream. He was so happy. And his stomach was just fine. Go figure. For those who may be easily confused, the prices and ordering info is behind you when you're facing the counter. But really, how hard is it to order ice cream? And, to address some bizarre past reviews, I'm not really sure why the nationality of the staff matters.

    Good tasty ice cream.

  • Lyn A.

Great ice cream. Lousy customer service.

    (3)
  • Lane J.

Amazing ice cream and sorbets. I love giving their sorbets to my son because they are only made from fruit with 1% sugar. The roasted coconut ice cream, is the best. They made a killer Zonker Stout ice cream last spring from the local brew pub, but I have not seen it since April. Always great service.

  • Rick W.

Moo's is awesome. There are many unusual flavors and it's location at the back of a store is quirky and different. You should definitely give Moo's a try.

    (5)
  • Denise D.

Awesome ice cream. Great little parlor to stop by and try. I've eaten at a lot of ice cream places, so visiting a new one was a new experience. And good thing is was good! Their ice cream is homemade and organic. Their Belgian chocolate ice cream was great and so was their Oreo cookie. They also served sorbet but i didn't get to try it. They also have a bakery, so if you need cheesecake or a chocolate cake they have it here. Pretty pricey but everything in this town is. They also make their own chocolates and truffles! They looked fantastic! they have these truffles shaped as ice cream and cost about $2 each. They have a good variety to choose from. All in all, very pricey but a good experience.

  • Peter H.

My child asked about the difference in serving sizes and the employee rudely told he couldn't help her and she just had to decide. A customer noticed the rude treatment and had one of her kids show my child the size of a kid's cone. I still can't believe this is an ice cream store that caters to children and families. The ice cream was also expensive ($3.50 for a tiny scoop) and both my kids said it wasn't very good (they may have been jaded by the experience).

  • Doug S.

I ordered a cup with two scoops of the Mint Chip ice cream, and it was delicious!! It states on the order board that this ice cream does not contain coloring (the green color that is so often associated with Mint Chip ice cream). This may have been the first time that I have ever seen or had Mint Chip ice cream that was not green. The ice cream contained large chips and chunks of chocolate which was fine by me!! The restaurant was very crowded but the attentive staff kept the line moving and we did not have to wait long from the time we ordered until we received our ice cream. The shop is located on the corner near the park which was great for viewing the mock shootout that was provided by some local actors.

    (5)
  • Marty C.

Oh how I love ice cream and Moo's! During the summer, they are packed. Don't walk away, they really move the line fairly quick. A lot of flavors to pick from but I can't tear myself away from Huckleberry. Maybe one day I'll try another flavor.

    (5)
  • Rebecca P.

My whole family ordered a scoop of Wild Huckleberry and needless to say it was the best ice cream any of us had ever tasted! I loved the small business vibe and the friendliness of the staff! I cannot wait to visit Jackson in the future and I will definitely not forget to stop by Moo's again!

  • Bob D.

Yummy ice cream - loved the rum raisin! Raisins are soaked in rum and lot of them. Only problem was I went back 2 days later and they were out of it! For sure will go back every time I am in Jackson Hole!

  • Lily S.

Jackson Hole has better ice cream than that Montana based creamery we tried in Yellowstone! And this place is cUte! Not sure what kind of connection it has with Coca Cola but I liked the bright red tables and chairs. They need to turn up the light so people can take better pictures of the inside, lol. I was excited to see Huckleberry ice cream because my co-worker told me I had to try this deliciously tart flavor not found back home, and it's such a pretty color of light purple. Too bad the sample I received was too sweet. So I ordered the White Belgian Chocolate with Hazelnut instead. Just in a cup, and we enjoyed it outside on the patio furniture. Moo's Gourmet has more offering than just ice cream. I saw cakes and pies and other treats. I'd recommend it.

  • Kim K.

The ice cream is good but I have some issues with this place: - The full ice cream flavor menu is listed online but they only offer a small fraction of those each day. Disappointing. - The ordering process is ridiculous. There is no way to form a line while being able to see the flavors inside the case, people cut the "line" left and right, and the staff don't keep track of who is next. Also, you order at the ice cream counter but then have to walk back through the chaos to be rung up at the opposite counter. Ridiculous. - The entire place could be more streamlined and efficient and it's just not. - Too little seating. Lots of dead space inside. - Service is not friendly.

    (3)
  • Mary R.

The ice cream texture was good but I'd prefer more acid in the huckleberry (e.g. Lemon) and less vanilla. The coconut was okay but again I got more vanilla flavor than coconut. Hum. The Oreo was very Oreo so that was okay.

Right by the park. Great location. Stopped by and got the chocolate red wine flavor. Semi-sweet with rich wine taste.

I stopped by here last week with my fiance and her parents for an after dinner snack. We had passed Moo's the night before and with its cute ambiance, we decided that we had to make stop in the future. The inside of this shop is filled with display cases as they have both their homemade ice cream as well as some baked goods. Beyond that there are a few Coca-Cola tables that give it an old school ice cream parlor vibe. For my dessert I ended up ordering the huckleberry ice cream. The ice cream itself tasted good, was creamy and I could see the actual huckleberrys in it, so points for that. What I didn't like about the place was more of their line/ordering system. The night that we went the shop was fairly busy and so the inside was a bit chaotic. People waiting for coffee, people from behind us paying in front us and people generally everywhere. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While it was chaotic inside the store, the ice cream was good and I enjoyed eating it.

What a perfect snack after a tasty meal! Not to mention you can sit outside and enjoy the people watching on the square. I tried the chocolate cab sauv...it was decadent and rich! The ice cream is very creamy and smooth! Can't wait to go back and try some of their other flavors!

  • J S.

Angry ice cream shop. Sorry I bothered you?? I found it weirdly curious they would not allow my teens tastes of their ice cream with alcohol in them. What on earth is the alcohol content of a tasting spoon with chocolate Cabernet ice cream? Our first stop I chalked rude employees up to that shift. Same people here the second time, and I realized with horror they might be the owners. Yikes.

  • John S.

I don't know how to feel about Moo's. The ice cream was good, but the place was odd. There was paintball equipment for sale, and the interior was clean but not terribly inviting. It felt like it was set up in someone's garage, with odd, out-of-place things everywhere. Still, it's probably the best ice cream in town and worth stopping in to try. Just get the ice cream to go and eat it in the park right outside. The ambiance is better.

  • Kei D.

The ice cream was soooo yummy! The rum raisin was delicious. The raisins in every bite were full of rum flavor! Coming back again!

This place is so yummy it's never too cold for ice cream, just like the rest of Jackson- they decorate for the holidays. Really liked their coffee ice cream

What a wonderful treat to get organic ice cream without hormones. The huckleberry ice cream - rich and tasty with lots of real huckleberries - is a must have before you leave this area.

I thought I had been charged twice for a smoothie on my debit card and called Moo's and left a message. While I waited for the return call (which wasn't very long) I rechecked my bank account and it looked like I made a mistake since I had gone in twice w/in 24 hrs...yes, it's that yummy!. The owner (a very nice lady) called me (I had just returned home to WA) and told me she would take both charges off. I told her I made a mistake, but she wouldn't hear of it and said she was going to go ahead and refund both transactions. So, if she does, one day I will return and give her company (Moo's ice cream) some business and a nice tip! Awesome customer service and ice cream!

Great little creamery in Jackson. Tried the coconut, white chocolate hazelnut, key lime, and mint chip. All were yummy.

  • Michele N.

A trip to Jackson Hole wouldn't be complete without visiting Moo's for ice cream. There's always a long line, but they move quickly. I get the same thing every time, coco loco. You can't go wrong here, whatever suits your taste. But, if you're a coconut ice cream fan, you won't be disappointed! They also sell fine chocolates and paintball accessories - I can't explain the combo!!

    (5)
  • Hana A.

Sampled the huckleberry ice cream- it was a disappointment. Ordered the Italian plum sorbet Two scoops were huge! I couldn't finish and had to throw away. The price was also pretty reasonable.

    (4)
  • Doug C.

Expensive! Mom was hankering for a hot fudge brownie sundae, and this was the only place around that had it. Haagen Dazs didn't even have it. Brownie should have been warmer, not enough ice cream, and decadent to the max. Also it's HUGE, I don't know how anyone eats one of them alone. Like diabetes in a cup. I think after a $1 tip cause the girl was so kind, it was over $9! Get out.

    (3)
  • Chris H.

The ice cream at this place is one of the best I've tasted--ever. It had the prefect combination of creaminess, sweetness, and a deep, rich huckleberry flavor. It was a pleasant experience just enjoying my ice cream while people watching. If you prefer, you can take it past an arch of horns and into this beautiful park kitty corner from Moos. I'd definitely recommend the huckleberry--I don't know where else to get this flavor. If you've never tried it, it tastes like a cross between a blueberry and a pear. If I ever return to Jackson, I'm definitely coming back.

  • Tara W.

Nice, efficient staff, organic ice cream and earth friendly materials - what's not to like? A few outdoor seats. I would definitely go again.

  • Lester B.

Outstanding service, delicious ice cream, the staff is super friendly. It's located in the heart of Jackson Hole. Go there everytime I'm in town. Highly recommend

  • Neal J.

Got the word that we should try Moo's for some ice cream. Of course my choice had to be the huckleberry since this is very popular in this part of the country. It was excellent and a very good choice. Moo's is nothing fancy inside but it is nice. They sell a good selection of ice cream flavors and also have a large assortment of chocolates. We did not try the chocolates but they looked very good and others eating them seemed to be enjoying them. Good location right at the center of Jackson.

    (4)
  • Emma W.

Creamy good ice cream. Not to be missed since they have local flavors! Try the huckleberry flavor.

    (5)
  • Chris W.

Spectacular! No foo foo new age elitist resort nonsense here. Just genuine old world ice cream of the highest order. The wild huckleberry is as good as all the reviewers here claim. I had to go back a second night in a row for more. Do not miss this place!

Went travelling through the USA for an 'all american experience' stopped off in Jackson Hole and visitors this cute little Ice cream shop. So much choice, delicious, homemade and smooth. Lovely!

  • Ryan H.

Holy Crap, this was the best Ice Cream I've ever eaten. I had the spicy ginger and coco-loco together and it was unreal. The kids got sorbets that were super tasty. I am coming back here again and again.

    (5)
  • Nancy H.

Great ice cream, free from all kinds of crazy additives, They also have a great selection of chocolates, cakes and pies if you are not in an ice cream mood. The store is laid out kind of awkwardly, but this is not annoying enough to reduce my rating

  • Rob W.

For this New Yorker, my only experience of the huckleberry was its use as a gentle pejorative by Phil Rizzuto back in the day during Yankees telecasts (Just to be clear, I hate the Yankees. But even I found it impossible to hate the Scooter). I tried not to go overboard in the land of huckleberries and order anything and everything featuring it, but when we came upon an all-natural, organic ice-cream establishment with huckleberry ice cream, it was go time. The ice cream was heavenly - you can taste the difference compared to chemical-laden, processed stuff - rich and tasty with lots of real huckleberries. The staff was friendly and the place itself cute, but I did find the decor odd - there's a whole section of the store dedicated to paint-ball guns and paraphernalia. Not to bring east-coast mores to bear here, but... it seemed an odd environment to sit and enjoy ice cream in. Still, no big bother... its probably nicer to enjoy wandering the cool town square anyway!

  • R J.

Awesome place--sampled three ice creams ...all really good...I decided on huckleberry and pumpkin cheesecake---great choices--friendly counter persons--a little pricey but it's Jackson!

  • Drew Z.

Great ice cream! The store as a good local feel but the ice cream in the reason to go. I do have to admit that it may have tasted even better because I was relaxed and on vacation, but I thought it was pretty amazing.

    (5)
  • Jen G.

OMG this mint chip was the best I've ever had. Deliciously creamy and flavorful. Perfect snack on a cold rainy day. I ended up walking around the square while eating my scoop. My only regret is that I didn't get to come back before the end of my trip to try the huckleberry. I'll have to come back to try more flavors!

  • Cristen T.

This was the only place we decided to visit on our short stay in Jackson. Nice clean little shop with a cool outdoor patio and quite a few varieties of ice cream/sorbets. The service was good and they were happy to give out samples. As far as the ice cream goes it was indeed, okay. The texture of the ice cream was good. I wasn't very impressed with the flavor of the Belgian Chocolate but the texture was creamy. The other flavor I tried was Roasted Coconut and it was good but the giant chunks of coconut were a bit overwhelming. My husband got the New York Cheesecake and the Chai. The cheesecake was tasty and very creamy but the chai was extremely strong and there were whole spices in the ice cream which he had to spit out. All in all it was a nice place to stop in and get a couple scoops (they have quite a few interesting flavors) but it wasn't my favorite.

Why is that even though it's 20 degrees out, you can still have a random craving for something cold like ice cream? That's how we exactly felt. Moo's Gourmet Ice Cream is located in the middle of the town square so it's hard to miss. Yelp reviews were pretty positive plus a buddy of ours was telling us to hit it up before we leave. On our last day, we decided to scoop up some Moo's on the way to the airport. The previous night, Moo's was closed by 7ish. We phoned in to make sure they were still open. I guess they close when they see fit or when it's that dead. Luckily, they were open for us on our way out of Jackson. Hmm... paintball guns on the left wall? Maybe the owner has a passion for it? Maybe they sell paintball guns and accessories? How does ice cream and dessert mix with that hobby? I have no idea nor did I bother to ask. I read some reviews where they said the guy behind the counter isn't too friendly or has a cocky attitude. I guess you can say that I saw a hint of that but I also saw beyond impression. Face it, you're not going to like everyone's humor and the guy had that New Jersey style swagger. Jokes where you think he's being a prick but he doesn't mean any harm. For example: Customer: "Can I get a scoop of....?" Worker: "Can you say please? Hehe." That's just how he is but we all still laughed when he made those comments. Nothing to take too serious, we're here to pick up ice cream and roll out. The guy even took a tourist picture for us so it's all good. Portions are generous. A scoop should do you good unless you're greedy or sharing. The prices are a little steep for a small town but I'm from LA, I've seen worse. At least you get a nice scoop for the price unlike where I'm from where $5 will get you five bites. As a local, it may be a once in a while treat. As a tourist, F it, we're here and it's just this one time. Might as well make it a waffle cone too while you're at it. Flavors seem like they may change day to day. If you check out their website, there are tons of flavors. Once you're in the shop, there's only about 14-20 available so you're favorite flavor may not be available on that day. I shared the mint chip and the bourbon vanilla bean in a cup for close to $6. Mint chip didn't contain the green dye we're use to seeing. The mint is quite prevalent and the chips are big and crunchy. The vanilla was more subtle yet still very pleasant. Taste wise, I enjoyed our choices. Seems like the mint chip was the favorite in our group and overall everyone seemed to be satisfied with Moo's. No one got their supposed $8 milk shake. I will agree that price is unheard of but I didn't order it or even thought twice to so it didn't bother me. I would come back to this ice cream parlor if and when I'm back in Jackson.

This Ice Cream was ok. But I give it 3 stars for these reasons, first of all, the lines are really long, and even though I experience lines everyday, and some are pretty long, this one was especially annoying and crowded. And when I finally reached the front of the line, their were not too many flavors, and also when I finally got my ice cream it wasn't as good as I expected it would be. Personally I have experienced much better ice cream, in fact I have even made some pretty good home made ice cream before, but if you want to take kids to a fun place in Jackson Hole, I highly recommend it :).

Amazing ice cream!! Get the Belgium semi sweet chocolate!! It is sooooooooooo amazing!!

  • Christie B.

This place has amazing Caffe Mochas. The owner is also super nice. The mochas come in white, milk or dark chocolate. We had white chocolate and it was excellent!! We came back for it again on another day. Definitely worth the drive from Teton Village. Their milk shakes are also excellent. They only come in 24oz size, and totally worth sharing (or not... but that's a lot of ice cream!). We had cookies & cream and it was wonderful.

  • Jeff S.

I didn't like the ice cream at Moos, it tasted like it had ice in it, wasn't smooth and creamy like my benchmark Häagen Daaz. I also think that it's over priced, I paid about $6 for 2 scoops in a cup. I also didn't care for the disorderly feel to the place, and agree with others that their menu and flavors should be posted near the entrance so you can start deciding what you want before you get to the counter. I doubt I will return to Moo's, sorry but I just wasn't impressed.

    (2)
  • Tracy M.

The ice cream here is not to be missed, not even in the winter (just be sure to eat it inside)! I had a scoop of the huckleberry ice cream, and it was as good as what I make at home. You could tell they use fresh ingredients. The owner is a Chez Panisse alum, so you know they care about quality and taste. They make all their ice cream, in addition to cakes, pies, and chocolates. So good!

Walking around Jackson Square last night and everyone had an Ice Cream cone in their hand. Saw Moo's and went in for one myself. It's homemade and a foodie's paradise.

Probably the best ice cream I have ever had. Huckleberry may be the "tourist" flavor....but it is amazing.

Very generous serving size for ice cream that is locally produced in Jackson Hole. They have ice cream made from the local Huckleberry and lots of fun boozy flavors. Bourbon, wine, and an excellent espresso flavor. Even their plain vanilla isn't so plain as its made with 4 different varieties of beans. Yum!

This place is awesome. You can get some amazing flavors of ice cream and sorbet, I highly recommend huckle berry and expresso buzz bomb. You can also get some sweet chocolates i had the Mayan it was delicious. The service is good, but sometimes the line goes out the door. Overall great tasting ice cream!

I got guava sorbet and bf got huckleberry. The texture of the sorbet was very poor; it was falling apart in clumps and it was difficult to eat. The flavor was OK, but it wasn't guava-y enough. BF's huckleberry was very good; flavor was very bold. However, I didn't really like the real berries in it because the insides were too frozen. There aren't a lot of choices here, but Moo's isn't bad.

This place is bomb. The butter pecan was delicious.

I'm not sure what the hype is. To me it just tasted like regular ice cream. I realize they offer some special flavors, but that's about it.

Cute little ice cream shop in Jackson. Service was friendly and portions were pretty big. I tried the oreo ice cream and it was tasty however the cookies were just a bit too blended into the cream. I like it when there are chunks of cookies interspersed with the ice cream. Still a nice little spot for a snack.

Came here while on a layover in Jackson Hole. Mom, Dad, Aunt & Uncle all were with me. They all wanted ice cream so in we went. Huge wasted space as you walk in. Only 2 small tables. There should be about 6. Awkward place to order ice cream from. Line up blocks half the available window stool seats. A complete remodel would be a good idea.

The ice cream is great, can't argue that. But the lay out is idiotic and the prices are high. And what's the story with the air soft gun display? I don't get it. Too many impractical, weird elements to score the 5 stars that the ice cream alone would earn.

I wasn't expecting much from one of two ice cream shops in Jackson, to be honest. But the line was long, so that was a good sign. I was disappointed at the lack of peanut butter featured on the menu, but I settled for a waffle cone with Oreo ice cream. Again, I was disappointed when the ice cream was chocolate based, not vanilla. I don't normally like chocolate very much. But this changed my opinion. From the first bite I was in love. SO good. And totally worth the wait in line! Don't miss this if you're in Jackson!

My hubby and I both got a double scoop cup, 1 mint choc chip (no green dye!) and 1 Oreo cookie. Mmmm mmmm good! Took a taste of the Huckleberry and it was delicious, but I wasn't in a fruity kind of mood. Might go back again tomorrow for that as it was some of the best ice cream we've ever had! Definitely stop in!

Very delicious ice cream! I highly recommend the huckleberry flavor (a Wyoming/Montana speciality). Take-home pints are available for $10 in the square store or $6 at the local Albertsons. Plenty of indoor seating, but the layout is rather awkward.

First the good news: the ice cream is very good. Our family had Apricot sorbet, Belgian chocolate, New York cheesecake, and Belgian white chocolate with hazelnut ice creams-- very tasty. Now the bad news: I really wanted a milkshake, but they are priced at an obscene $8, the highest price by far I have ever come across. I refused to pay it, and settled for an ice cream. Also, the behind the counter server had a chip on his shoulder, and acted like serving us was beneath him. This attitude made my decision easy that Moo's wasn't worth an overpriced milkshake, even if this was a once-in-a-lifetime shot at trying their shakes.

Excellent. Had the mint chip (no artificial green color) and it was delicious. Will be heading back tomorrow!

I'd love to have what some of the other reviewers are smoking. We stopped in for ice cream on July 4. Service was quick and efficient, but the ICE cream... the ICE cream... it was icey, for lack of a better term. I had the vanilla, my wife had something with espresso. Both were oddly icey, as in there were discernible chunks of ice in the ICE cream. Not big chunks, but parts of it were slushy like. It was odd, but perhaps they ran out of the good stuff and pulled these tubs out of the back of the freezer for a busy night? Anyway, there are better dessert places in Jackson, skip this one.

you got me at Chai's ice cream!!! YUMMMMMMM We also tried the ZONKER stout from Snake River and it was good but a bit too much for a whole scope. Portions are big, at least from what I'm used to. Decoration is weird, but who cares when you are numbing your tongue with this cold treat.

There's something about the chocolate flavor (coco-loco) that I really liked. It might've been the texture or the taste. Either way, Moo's has one of my favorite chocolate ice cream to-date. My friend and I got stuck in the snow on the way to Jackson. Some friendly-goodwill-citizens helped us get back on the road. Ice cream was a nice way to end the night. The place also has other candied treats like chocolate covered -anything and everything you could think of. This is a really neat ice cream parlor. It works really well in a town like Jackson.

If you're craving ice cream in Jackson, I'd recommend this place. I got the huckleberry ice cream which was excellent, and I could totally down a whole pint by myself. My husband got boysenberry sorbet. It was also pretty good. It had a very interesting flavor. Way deeper flavor than a blueberry but a little more tart. Thumbs up!

Another must go/see in Jackson, especially on a summer day. Went there twice on my trip. Great flavors. I had the Espresso Blast, Ginger, and Bosenberry. All three were delicious. They are all made inhouse. So everything is fresh. Good eats

Awesome Huckleberry ice cream - smooth and sweet! FIVE STAR FLAVOR! A must try when you go to Grand Tetons or Yellowstone Park. The staff - ZERO stars. There are no signs to tell you where or how to order nor are there any prices (for the ice cream). There were FOUR employees...one working at a DEAD snail pace speaking in some kind of "foreign" accent to which a customer asked if he was European and he said "no". So what the f*ck are you arsewipe? Anyway the other three (no more than 3 feet away) would look thru us as if we were ghost and just kept on talking. The four of us stood in front of the ice cream box and tried to get their attention to no avail. Anyway, one of the "others" decides to help, but total ignored us to help someone else who came later...I hate playing the race card, but it sure felt like it. Man the senario above makes me understand how a gweilo feels when they try to order something in Chinatown! The price of 4 scoops of Ice Cream (3 Sugar Cones and one cup)...$13.99. Pricey, but extremely good ruined by stupid workers.

Excellent ice cream and service. My Dad picked out boysenberry and enjoyed a massive cone, my Mom enjoyed the mango, my sister raved over the mint chocolate chip (with no added color), and I had Belgian chocolate. Yum!

Ice cream is definitely homemade! Their huckleberry ice cream has got to be the best in the whole midwest! 5-star ice cream! Why 4 stars then? Some of the servers were a little cold (no pun intended). There was one who, whenever you asked if you could try the ice cream, he would say "No." with a VERY serious face. He was joking, but it still came off as pretty icy. Another server made you feel really rushed and never smiled. Overall, the ice cream was superb and trumps the service.

This is a must stop in Jackson -- even if just to see what awesome new flavors they have concocted! The Oreo Ice Cream (I know...not that original) was the best cookies and cream ice cream I have ever eaten in my life. Ridiculous. Awesome place! Keep it up, Moo's!

Terrible service. If they make a mistake with your order they are unwilling to remake it because they claim it costs them too much. If that's how they feel, they can add the loss of a customer as an added cost of their poor service. Moo is full of themselves and is overpriced. $8 for a shake? We returned their messed up concoction and they looked shocked...how dare someone return their beloved ice cream! We should be the ones in shock after they wouldn't do anything to make the situation right like offering a credit. All of the other reviews on here are right about the awful and rude customer service. So aside from their lack of genuine customer service, they do have some interesting flavors to try.

Well, every tourist town needs a pizza joint, a coffee spot, and well... somewhere to ice cream. Moo's fulfills that need in Jackson, and it does an acceptable job at providing customers with tasty frozen dairy products. It also likes to really push the "green" initiative. Eh... not totally my cup of tea. At least, not enough to get me to pay $4 for a double. They do not use hormones, or any of that junk in their product, but I would prefer something a little more affordable for an after dinner snack. The pistachio was really bland, and the texture was not extraordinarily creamy. The butter pecan was a little better but still could have used a little more flavor. This creamery is a cool local institution to take a group or friends from out of town.
