Always on the lookout for TRUE biker bars (not bars with yuppies posturing about trying to look "badass"), I'm having an increasingly hard time finding old school, Marlon Brando-esque joints like in the Wild Ones. Hence, old biker bars. You know, where you see old shovels and panheads parked out front with no chrome, or chrome you can't even see your reflection in because it's so pitted or dirty? If you're nodding, then you know what I mean. On the highway headed towards Utah, I found this place. Good thing I didn't sneeze or blink, because I would have missed it. Other than an old log cabin church, there's nothing but a tavern in this town. We were cruising down the highway, when I spotted the log cabin church. Many bikers were there as there was a wedding being performed. "Pull over!" I exclaimed to my friend, and we pulled into the parking lot of the Eden Bar. I never went in, only poked my head around, and judging by the rowdy laughter, I'd say this place is a keeper. But the best thing about it, is you feel like you stepped right into a bar from 1950 in the Wild Ones. At least the outside of this bar, complete with old sign, hasn't been touched in over 50 years. Touche! Simply Stellar.
