4/6/15. 10:00am SHERRIE'S PLACE is a pleasant surprise! Nice, cozy, clean little diner in the middle of town. Friendly service. Shirley & I decided to grab some breakfast grub and have some 'girl talk'. We ordered coffee right away. Good and Strong, in big mugs. For my breakfast, I ordered some DYNAMITE chorizo sausage, a very fluffy Cheese Omelette, and an order of hash browns which were the BOMB. Golden brown & a little crispy. Delish! Also a fluffy biscuit came with it. YUMMO! Shirley had pancakes & bacon. You should have seen the size of those hot cakes! I have to say portions are large. Prices are very affordable. If I lived here, I'd be here every week. A real Casper gem of a diner. Plus they're pet-friendly. A definate plus!

Passing through town and based on reviews found a gem. Definitely a local place with no pretenses other than friendly sevice and great food. Had a skillet breakfast with potatoes. Onions, peppers chorizo sausage topped with cheese, eggs and of course-- green chili. It also comes with a side blueberry pancake that was phenomenal. Light flavorful and Nicky browned. An extensive choice of dishes

What a find! Great atmosphere, friendly folks and fantastic food. The burgers are the best I've had in sometime and the hand cut fries are wonderful. The desserts sounded great, but we were stuffed. We will go back again!

Sherrie's Place was a delight. Our family are chicken fried steak fanatics - the portion here was huge, with flavor to match. The hash browns had a lot of the dark brown, crispy, delicious crust. The pancake that came as the side to a meal was large enough for a meal on its own, and truly delicious. Friendly service, reasonable prices, HUGE portions. Plan to share, or take home!

My friends and I love coming here! The service is awesome and the food is down home cooking so the food tastes great. Whenever we come here we always get the chocolate mint cookie shakes, they do not hold back on these bad boys because they are HUGE! I also want to give a shout out for their French dip sandwich as well as their Ruben since those are my favorites. BTW small portions do not exist here so if you leave hungry it is your own fault!

Thought I would try this place out. I have followed a few people and their reviews to other places and they hit this one. The coffee is great no bitterness. The portions are huge, better have your hunger on. The pancakes were good not belly bombs like most places. Hashbrowns were browned right a little greasy but not bad. Would like to try their lunch , another day. And yes it is cozy and yes many locals but that spells yum. I might add they do green chili right.

Cold gravy Underseasoned steak. I'm sorry. It looks like it has lots of local fans. I'm not one of them. It was a real gut bomb. I'm glad someone else paid for it.

Still don't get it... sry I don't care if it is "JUST" casper or anywhere...if you cannot make a french fry right...it still sucks. Unimpressed and friends keep saying just go back. I do not care if the quantity is huge if the food is overcooked and under seasonsed.

A home-cooked meal away from home, this has been my go-to destination for comfort food. While there are plenty of healthier options on the menu, a good shake with a sandwich or meal never disappoints.

We LOVE Sherrie's Place! It is a great little diner that we have enjoyed in the downtown area since our college years (10+ years). There is a whole parking lot on the same block as the diner (my 2 year old handles the walk just fine). Big portions, delicious REAL FOOD. It is a cozy little place, so you may wait a bit for a table but again, I have a toddler that can handle it, so be patient and take in the atmosphere:) See you there!!

Let's be honest here, Sherrie's place is Mama's place! Great food fast, portions to cure the worst hunger, and great service. Diner food is not haute cuisine, so if you expect tiny portions, silly sprigs of weird green attached to your plate and crazy &$@ prices, go to Colorado. Fluffy biscuits, rich flavorful gravy that coats everything, and excellent plate sized ham. Or maybe a killer chorizo sausage with your breakfast burrito. Anyway you take your diner life, take it at Sherrie's for morning or early afternoon because they do close at 2:00pm. Oh yea, best shakes with excellent flavor choices, pies as high as the sky, and absolutely wonderful cinnamon rolls. So wake up, get a dining partner and go eat something!

If you have a great cook living in your house then you know what it is like to eat at Sherries Place. Very homey, friendly atmosphere, and great food made from scratch. Breakfast has a southwestern feel. Lunch features classics but try one of the many crazy milkshake flavors. A Casper gem.

Anybody who doesn't give this place 5 stars has handicapped taste buds. Period. I have never eaten at such a majestic, glorious diner sent straight from heaven. I had chicken, potatoes, white green chili, and an amazing roll, and complementry bread pudding!! My wife had the veggie sandwich and a glorious piece of cake- again- complimentry. I have never been treated so well or eaten so well at a diner....this place rocks!!!!!

We got a tip from a local that this was a great place to eat downtown. All in all it wasn't a bad tip, but it wasn't a great one either. We had trouble finding parking, as nothing is really marked once you leave the immediate downtown area, so we opted to backtrack to marked parking and walk. We went at lunch and it was packed. We waited for a table for a bit, and eventually took one end of a six person table, which at least gave the next group of two a place to sit as well. Asked the server what they recommended and she stole a glance at the specials board before saying how much she liked the burritos (the daily special, save 30 cents). We opted against that and ordered a couple of burgers. My mushroom and cheese burger was okay, nothing spectacular. My wife's BBQ and cheese burger was barely that. If it's a BBQ and cheese burger you should put plenty of sauce on it, not a half-dollar sized drop. My fries were overcooked, so I left most of them on the plate. Overall, I'm sure there are some good dishes on the menu, but they really need to work on those fries and the condiment allocation on the burgers.

With the truck broke down and being repaired across the street I ducked in for cups of coffee, to go. We wanted breakfast but had two small dogs with us. A while later, we were even more hungry so I went back in to see about breakfast to go. The owner asked if I'd like to come in for a meal and upon hearing my tale, offered a shady spot next to the restaurant for the dogs and a booth where we could watch them. Without asking she gave them a bowl of water and one by one the employees went out to pet the pups. They offered some bacon bits and the dogs were in heaven. Our food was good, too, but the thoughtfulness and service were the best.

Great little 'greasy-spoon' restaurant in the Old Yellowstone District. Could benefit from some sound reduction, but still great and lively. I highly recommend the Reuben!

Okay gave it another shot because other's keep saying how good it is...... gave their burger a second try..... Dry over cooked puck called a burger with fries that were way to well done (brown and like pertrfied wood).... The parking issues are not great to begin with but though it is not their fault the construction makes it so you have to park a ways away and wlk to them. WILL NOT GO BACK IT SUCKED

Alright, this greenie below (Jason H.) me is obviously confused and/or mistaken. No such thing exists as a bad time at Sherrie's. Go back to Colorado. PRO's: Sherrie's place is hands down the best breakfast spot in Casper. A hidden gem that is known only to the locals. Small and cozy with really good service. The food is affordable and the portions are HUGE! It is downtown, so lunch can be busy. It's busy for a reason. And that dipsh*t whining about parking, c'mon, gimme a break there is ample room to park in the lot between Wyoming Stationary and A1 tire, the best tire shop in town, btw. Service rocks. food is awesome. I live in Portland, OR now and miss Sherrie's Place like I miss my family. CONS: closed weekends and only open 6am-2pm Bottom line, eat here. You will be satisfied. -Brian B.

This place is a real dimond in the rough. Everything is homemade by hand and the care shows. I find myself in WY once or twice a year or work, and Sherrie's has become a must stop. The only down side is there hours, they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Alrighty! I agree with Brian B. 100% I never had a bad experience. The owner is dedicated to making her establishment an awsome place. I recomend it for sure. If you have to wait... then wait. It's totaly worth it. If you have to walk a little... then walk a little. You wont leave disappointed.

Breakfast is to die for. The service is excellent, and the food is great! Homemade, fresh, hot...This is a great hometown place. Just wish they were open on Saturday mornings!

Went here based on yelp reviews while on long drive. I gave an extra star for the incredible rolls and the service which was warm, friendly and totally loving of my toddler man (Sherrie brought out crayons, and a Sesame Street book with instructions that it was okay if he tore it up a bit since it was already pretty beaten up). Unfortunately, my tot didn't like his food which made for a difficult drive cause we had to find something else later instead of him munching on leftovers . Mine was okay -- got the chicken fried steak, which I don't get often so it's hard to say if it was better than anywhere else around. They offered fruit or cottage cheese instead of the mashed potatoes or fries. Got the fruit which was orange slices and pineapple. Iceburg lettuce was a bit wilty on the edges. Veggies in these lands are often questionable so I didn't hold it against them. My hubby seemed to like his burger but said it wasn't anything special. Would've been nice to get breakfast stuff all day but seems they stop serving it at 11am. If we drive through town early enough next time, we *might* stop, but won't for lunch.
