I've been eating at Greco's for many years and have always enjoyed dining there with groups of people. The buffet is usually pretty good but can occasionally be hit-or-miss depending on how busy they are (slow business = less frequent rotation of food). Anything I've ever ordered off their menu has always been great. Their pizzas and pepperoni rolls are excellent.

Sitting here currently. No dough. No booze. No freedom? Is this a sick joke? I have the pepperoni rolls. No you won't. We don't have dough. I'm have some booze. Oh that's ok. We don't serve it. Amateur hour. Correction. Elton John playing. 2 stars.

Went here with a local friend and her family. Everyone else in the place was ordering and receiving their food while we sat with our drinks. The waitress informed us that their computers messed up and our orders didn't get put in. We asked if we could get our appetizers taken off our bill. She asked her boss and relayed to us that "no, she would not take anything off the bill because it wasn't her fault the computer wasn't working. " Wow. Other than the service, the food was pretty generic. I'm all about supporting local restaurants, but I'd just stay away from this one.

Had the lunch buffet & it was delicious. The salad was fresh, pizza hot & different variety and the pineapple brown sugar was great.

Greco's no longer lives up to their reputation. Bland food and the bathroom is disgusting

This place has gone down hill. Sad they stooped to taking out the best seating area in the place to add a gambling area. The place were we sat was dark and shadowy. The buffet was mediocre at best and the service was inattentive. My family and I used to love this place. I miss the old Grecos.

Pizza dripped with grease. Not completely inedible but close. Being that I was the only person in the restaurant should have been a sign. Staff in the kitchen very loud and service was far from good.

I go here just for the chocolate chip dessert pizza. So worth it. They also have a buffet style lunch if you are looking for variety.

I remember when Greco's used to be "okay". This is not a great place to eat. The food is mediocre at best and the service is slow and unattentive. Your best bet is to go with the buffet since then at least you can serve yourself the lukewarm, greasy pizza and don't have to tip.

I been all over the country, and lived in many states. I still use this pizza as a measuring stick to other places pizza. I tell you what, it beats a lot of other pizza out there in the country. Some are better, but it holds its own against any I have had. I grew up on it. This is the only food place I visit on rare trips to home. The staff is always friendly. Overall excellent pizza, great price, very lucky to have this eatery in WHEELING. I know of some bigger cities that could sure use it!!I am updating this because as a customer I was offended by the way a women manager treated the staff in front of me. She badgered the help and was rude and disrespectful to them!! I have gone here for 38 years and never seen anyone that worked here treated in this way.She needs a course on management and how to effectively communicate with her staff. It is unprofessional to be this way at all, and especially in front of a customer. Her employees work incredibly hard and deserve great treatment. If I continue to be subject to this when I go to get pizza I will stop going here!!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
