Really good vibe here. Had dinner and sat around for a good 30 mins after paying my bill having conversations with people and still received great service from my waitress. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Food was pretty average except the Mediterranean Wings were amazing. The outside signage makes the place look like an adults only establishment, but it is just a normal restaurant bar. I would eat here again, and try other dishes.

Order dozens raw oysters, Couldn't believe it took 20 mins, than i was told their were frozen, that's why i had to wait. 10 oz. Burger needs flavor!!!!! Kinda tired of premaid at a premium price, Only bonus is they are the only Bar i can find all the way to Shady side that offer Drafts, Majority of customers are over 50.

Abbey's is a fantastic place to eat or just hang out at the bar.It is a family owned restaurant and I guanantee that you'll meet Abbey on Friday and Saturday nights . The food is consistanly great and the service is always outstanding. I eat here at least four times a month and have never left disapointed. You will enter a patron and leave a family member with a hug from Joey and/or Abbey. My husband usually gets the "Joey's Jumbo Tail" while I love the Old Bay spicy shrimp. See you there

My boyfriend, our friend and I all ate here last night. The food and atmosphere was great! Our waitress was very nice and made our experience even better. The Mediterranean wings were some of the best wings I have ever had and the Abbey's Special pasta was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Prime Rib and A Lobster tail which was beautiful, succulent and sweet and the meat was seasoned very well. Our drinks were great also! Really enjoyed the place, highly recommended and we will definitely be back! Best place to eat on the Island by far.

Abbey's is a great place on Wheeling island to meet up with friends and grab a bite to eat. It's also a great alternative to eating at Wheeling Downs if you want to avoid the casino crowd. The drinks are impeccably mixed and the service is top notch. Their menu hasn't changed much in a while, but you can always go back get your favorites (of which there will be many).

I had dinner there last night with a friend,and sent my dinner back. Pasta,how can you screw that up? Their meatballs tasted frozen,served on over -cooked pasta.Possiably it was a jar sauce? I'm tired of premade food at a premium price...I think this place has seen its best days a long time ago.
