This place was amazing. The service was fast and friendly and she wasn't over attentive. I got the hot garlicky mess build your own steamer and that was out of this world. The title speaks for itself because it was messy but oh so delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and.the atmosphere was laid back and intimate and.I loved every song they played. The food is pricey but completely understandable when ordering.good seafood. I would recommend this.place .for.anyone.who is looking for a fun date night or just a place to chow down with a group of friends.

Our first time here parking sucked. But after that we had a amazing experience! We weren't expenting that. But it was a late lunch early dinner. We had a great server. Cheddar hush puppies are amazing! Sweet chilli sauce is addicting! Great food and service :-)

Horrible experience. My wife an I went out with our son to eat. First of all the waitress got our order wrong. My wife ordered blue cheese and got ranch. Then I ordered the make your self steamer and asked for 1 lb of king crab and only got half a pound. My wife's food was cold. After waiting 20 minutes for the rest of my crab and notifying the manager their idea of "fixing" the problem was a $4 discount! I have worked as a server and a manager of a restaraunt and this was just awful service all around. Not to mention the food was mediocre at best and instill think they rip you off and don't actually give you a half a pound of crab as last time I checked a small crab leg does not constitute half a pound. Save your time and money and go to red lobster!

Visited the new location today! Although it's pretty pricey, we were satisfied with our dinners. Parking was difficult and you're required to get a parking pass from the hostess and take it back to your car before being seated. The new location is very clean, spacious, and has a nice view of the lake. There's outdoor seating which is very nice for a nice day. We debated what to order for a little while and opted for the meals that game with side dishes rather than the steamers since they were expensive and would've had less food. I ordered the shrimp feast and my boyfriend ordered the crab cake dinner. we both opted for Mac and cheese as well as fries for our sides. Mac and cheese was really good and the fries were also, but we're called "old bay" fries and I didn't taste any seasoning. My shrimp meal included fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, and a shrimp skewer. All were delicious. My boyfriend really enjoyed his crab cakes. Other than parking and how high priced this place is, it was great. Definitely a special occassion place! Loved it.

Went to the new location out cheat lake. I was very disappointed. Got the crab dip appetizer and it was like warm at best. Got the garlic Parmesan lobster and shrimp fettuccine and I got exactly 4 small shrimp and what equated to a piece of crawfish meat that might have been 1 once that they were calling lobster. The pasta was over cooked. What a horrible experience.

We had dinner there tonight. the fish was really fresh. the clams, fries and hush puppies were note worthy. All the other patrons were smiling and enjoying the meal. Good atmosphere inside.

Their new location is a total winner. Great atmosphere, main room opens to a deck overlooking cheat lake . Good food, had the create your own steamer with shrimp and scallops. Good as Babba's at Surfside, S.C.. Local music tops it off. Nice service with no hassle. Prices reasonable for decent seafood in Morgantown. Good for families with kids. Great beer serving Hallick Ale from Chestnut Brew Works. A winning combination !

The sea food is over cooked and bland... They called it "Cajun" style, which it clearly was not, would be possible to pass as a Maine style seafood boil. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed and would not recommend this place... Way too pricey for the quality of food you receive

Menu is so confusing even the waitresses cannot explain it properly. Then when they get the order wrong you will pay for their mistakes! Over priced food and drinks. Our waitress apologized a million times for getting our order wrong and the reason why is because they are billing you for all the food they bring you that you didn't order! I tried to hand her back the plate, she acted like she couldn't take it back. I will never eat there again.

Ok me and my fiance went out to eat here not to long ago and to start off with i ordered tea come to find out that it was fake tea out of a soda dispenser i mean come on people it takes five minutes to make a batch of real tea we then ordered the lobster and it just kept going down hill from that they brought out our food an hour after we ordered it only to bite into the lobster to find it still frozen on the inside they try to portray their lobster as fresh bringing out the lobster whole with bands on the claws the whole 9 yards after 3 more attempts at trying to bring me a fully cooked lobster 2 of them full of eggs i might add i just gave up. All in all they gave me only half off that abomination they tried to pass off as a good homemade feast. So negative would be my true star rating. Thank you for reading.

This place is a hidden gem. It really surpassed our expectations! Food and service were great! We took our 2 small children (2 yrs and 8 mos) and they were very accommodating. We will definitely be going back. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is bc the parking was less than ideal.

I don't give five star reviews that much, but this place gives me no reason not to. My husband and I found this online while looking for somewhere for lunch after I took a test at the Pearson Center. I love a good seafood place, but in Morgantown? We were skeptical, but curious. First, the server was very friendly and attentive. He told us all about the menu and you could tell he truly believed in the food here. We had the crab dip appetizer, I had the shrimp po boy and my husband had the hot mess special. Everything came out hot fresh and was delicious. The atmosphere is neat. The menu is great. This isn't stuff you can get at Red Lobster. It's a Joe's Crab Shack type menu only better because it isn't some big corporation whose seafood comes from god knows where. This place gets their seafood from Pittsburgh Seafood which is a great place for fresh seafood. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to returning next time I am in the area.

Went here for the first time and I have to say everything about this place was awful. The service sucked, and got our orders completely mixed up. The waiter instead of being polite and apologetic about the problems was very rude and had lack of empathy for us. The food was cold, and was prepared quickly and sloppy. We waited around for long increments between service and had to ask multiple times for things the waiter forgot. Management had just about the same amount of respect that the staff had, stating that "they were starting to close, and that they were in a hurry." Along with refusing to comp our wrongly made food. This restaurant is nothing compared to Joe's Crab Shack or any other seafood joint. This was my first time here, and will most definitely be my last.

Ok their is a reason this place is not busy. on a Saturday seven waiters and 15 tables? really? if 3-4 servers cant handle 15 tables their is a issue. I hate when people say fresh seafood and its not fresh its frozen ( land lock states can't get fresh seafood). The food is deep fried and microwaved and greasy as hell and the owner eats in the back while plating the food he wipes his hands not washes that is so gross. so if you like greasy food and over priced for a town that seafood is not a demand and clogged arteries they go ahead.
